Beautiful hotel, very clean , friendly staff. I didn’t know because I wasn’t looking for it but it’s also a pet friendly hotel. We did not eat at the hotel but they do offer 2 restaurants ( we were only there one night ). The valet was 50 dollars and they are quick to bring your car up when requested. The lighting in the room was a sensor so it turned on automatically when you walk into the bathroom. The mirror has a Bluetooth speaker in it which was nice. You can here the love bands from the street but that didn’t bother us at all.

We had a great time and felt the price was fair given the location and amenities. Our one complaint was trying to get maid service was difficult. We checked in Thursday evening and had no body wash in our room. Friday we had a do not disturb sign up on our door and then Saturday we called the front desk asking for body wash and maid service. We get back to our room around 6pm that day and nobody had showed up. I called down again to ask for maid service and they ended up coming by that night while we were at dinner. This was our only complaint. Also note that parking is all street parking unless you want to pay a premium for valet per day…. But welcome to Austin.

They don’t clean the rooms unless requested, by 10 am and they don’t pick up the phone to make the request, they charged me upon arrival with out letting me know, at check out they didn’t allow me to split my bill in two cards and by the end they ended up charging me 3 times! Plus 50 usd so know they owe me money and they don’t pick up the phone! For my reimbursement

House keeping was borderline nonexistent. The one day house keeping serviced my room they merely gave me new towels and took out my trash, i.e. nothing else was straightened up like the bed. Construction next to the hotel made it so you wouldn’t feel comfortable opening the window blinds. The hotel was nice enough to provide complimentary ear plugs at least. Location is close enough to several eateries and bars which is another plus.

Dirty rooms, extremely loud til late, late hours from (fun, cool) Rainey Street bars below. They don’t tell you this at check in but rooms only get housekeeping every 3 days. In a six night stay, I got serviced once. My “housekeeping” included someone emptying the trash and placing fresh towels on the sink. THAT’S IT. One morning, the showers did not work at all for anyone in my large business group. For the two prior days, the water would not get hot and there was little pressure. Front desk staff was pleasant and valets were cool. Rainey Street bars behind the hotel is a cool stretch to walk. But do yourself and stay somewhere else.

Great hotel. Alberto was so helpful at check in. Room was fine adequate. Friday night stay is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep with the noise level and sound booming through the windows and walls. Called front desk to change room, guy brings up key for new room, tells me once I leave the key won’t work..with my 6 bags I had to carry myself, he doesn’t ask if I need help, offer to help me at all and in fact, was annoyed he had to drop off the key as he walked away from me with his European satchel over his shoulder. Maybe he was on break or leaving but clearly didn’t have any customer service at all. This hotel is a trainwreck location with the noise level from the bars and clubs and now, in the new room, major highway noise.

The 1st room, the restroom was disgusting and hair pubic hair and everything else in the restroom. I contacted front desk to notify and no one even bothered to come clean or even offered to clean it. At 4am the air stopped working and we had to switch rooms cause ot was 82 inside of our room. The following afternoon when we went to get under the cover from cooling off, there was dried stained blood on the bed sheets. Housekeeping management came up and confirmed that it in fact blood on the sheets. Apologies were given. They sent a housekeeper to turn the room per management it would be a thorough cleaning. Upon our return i turn the sheets back and of course the same sheets were still on the bed. The sorry housekeeper did absolutely nothing once we exited besides makeup the bed. Absolutely horrifying, disgusting and outright unsanitary. I contacted the front desk and she apologized and sent someone else to strip the bed completely. The manager was nowhere to be found and never even called that morning to address the previous room issue. Of course he called the morning of checkout with the worst apology ever not taking any accountability for the things that took place or his staff. He immediately said that they've compensated my valet parking which was absurd because I never valet my vehicle to begin with. That was a slap in the face, especially from management that poor apology he could've kept as there was no sincerity behind it. His call was merely to shut me up. Trash, there were no accommodations bo real empathy, he really gave no cars in the world which is horrible and shows poor judgement and management skills. The staff needs Retraining from actual hospitality professionals as they all lack the correct words and actions in the event that an issue occurs. However, when you're under poor management, the lack of basic common sense customer service will not be present as it starts at the head (management) but it's clear they've never heard of the phrase lead by example. Furthermore I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, will never book here again and if I could give 0 stars I most definitely would've. Just disgusting, it makes me wonder what the health department would have to say about these actions as this has to be breaking some sort of code. Ewwwww

Since my arrival I found the hotel sensational, Great location near of food trucks streeth and the Austin Downtown; I love it contemporary elegance, the heated pool , and a extraordinary staff (especially a young man with oriental features at the front desk whose name I did not care to retain), the spacious room with a simply delicious bed and comfortable pillows. There was only one problem: our room was never cleaned in the four nights I spent at the hotel, even though I requested it on several occasions. That's why I give it three stars, even though, it would have deserved more.

My wife and I stayed and had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff including hotel and valet were all incredibly friendly. The front desk staff made a real effort to engage in conversation asking about our travel and what we were in town for.
The room was clean and modern with a comfortable bed. Our room had a fantastic view of the river that we appreciated. The AC was a little slow operating, and we couldn’t seem to get it below 72, however we also did not follow up with staff on it as it did not bother us. The bathroom was very nice and modern with a glass door shower and Bluetooth speakers in the mirror. Only gripe was that the water pressure could have been a little stronger.
The food and drinks at their two restaurants was very good and proper restaurant quality. Little pricey but I am cheap and it was within reason for a hotel restaurant.
I Would have enjoyed more upfront knowledge that valet is essentially required as they only have valet parking at 50 dollars a night and otherwise you are at the whim of city parking. Perhaps I missed it when booking, however they did tell me via text the day prior to check-in so it was not unexpected. Valet service was impeccable however. The crew that runs it is very professional and friendly
