This LaQuinta is just off the highway. Nice facility, quiet rooms. Good breakfast in a large room with plenty of space to eat. Staff was very nice and friendly, especially when we brought our 15 year old Dachshund in. Yes, they were pet friendly.

This hotel has a great deal of potential. It looks like they are midway through renovations. Our room was very spacious, clean and well kept. The front desk clerk at check in was very courteous and apologetic. Two of the elevators were broken with no estimated time frame for repair. The one working elevator felt and sounded like it might break down at any minute. There was no emergency phone in the elevator. I wondered how long it would take to find our bodies if it broke down. We saw a total of four people in the four story, over 200 room hotel while we were there. It was pretty sketchy walking the halls. There was an overwhelming smell of mildew and mold. Many of the room numbers were torn off or half torn off the walls. We had to guest which room was ours. Breakfast ends at 9. Don’t show up late or you will miss it. So sad to see this big building so neglected.…
The initial impression on the outside of this establishment was “I sure hope my truck doesn’t get broken in to.” Despite the feeling we checked in and it smelled very old which really didint bother us. We love quirky old places. We proceeded to hold our card for payment and got our keys. We walked the hall to our bedroom and instantly felt regret. The smell of cigarettes lined the halls. We got to our room and it was unacceptable. The beds were tipped. The headboard was off the wall. There was dominos pizza box in the room, soiled linens, cigarette scent, and just completely unclean. We checked in at almost 5pm so there should have been no excuse for the uncleanliness. The only thing good about the situation was the lady at the front desk apologized and asked to make it up to us. Which by that point we were tapped out. On top of all of that the elevator near our room was broken so we had to use a different on across the hotel. When we went to get our money back, the manager was not there and was 30 min late nor did she answer her phone after numerous calls which put us in a bind. I feel like management should always be ready at any time for these types of situations. We decided to go to the Best Western down the road about 2 miles and were 100% pleased with our stay there.…
This hotel is dirty, old and falling apart. Literally, parts of the entryway ceiling were falling to the floor as we were leaving. There are puddles everywhere, unsafe taped up wires behind the desk. The hallways stink, elevators stink. The tub didn't drain . They do offer breakfast but kids are running throughout the restaurant barefoot. The only positive was the bed was comfortable.
