When my family arrived we were first sent to a room locked from the inside. We went downstairs and were issued a second room. This time we walked in on a family. After an hour, of the employee trying to figure out what went wrong, we were finally given her room. Unfortunately, this room didn’t have sheets for the extra bed. Would never stay here again.
We had reservations but it filled up quickly with the thick fog. Quiet, convenience location and a new hotel. A litle under staffed as checkin but my guess the surprise fog didnt help the situation. Yes I would stay there again.
We stayed here in a cross country drive, we had our 17 pound elderly dog and needed a clean, pet friendly hotel. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. It is under construction, the rooms are complete and very nice. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I usually stay at three or four star hotel, this one did not disappoint. Great value! Thanks to the staff for a smooth visit.
We got snow in Amarillo...The hotel was fine, the rooms were clean, the elevator worked and the breakfast was fresh with good coffee. Pet friendly, in house laundry is a plus. Walking distance to shopping.
What do weary travelers want in an overnight accommodation? Convenient location, spacious room, comfortable bed, hot shower, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV with lots of channels, iron and ironing board. My wife and I got everything we needed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites in Amarillo, Texas. After driving seven hours and nearly 500 miles, we were in need of a good rest, a hot meal and an early breakfast. Located at 9401 East I-40, off I-40 at South Lakeside Drive or Highway 335, it offers a restaurant, bar, fitness center, business center, room service, full laundry service, indoor pool and whirlpool tub. Plus a spacious lobby and friendly staff. We booked a third-floor room with king-size bed, 42-inch flat screen HDTV, free wi-fi internet access, iron and ironing board, work desk, microwave, coffee maker, mini-refrigerator and spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and tub. Very comfortable. Before leaving, we enjoyed a full breakfast buffet of biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, egg white omelettes, pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, bacon and toast. Just what we needed as we looked ahead to a 610-mile trip to Flagstaff, Arizona.…
