Overall, my pup and I had a lovely stay at this fine hotel. I told them I had a dog and they gave me a bigger room for us to run around in. Besides my dog rolling around in poop outside (it was dark) the experience was pleasant. I was afraid to call the front desk and ask for silverware because of my ~social anxiety~ and had to eat my burrito with my hands. But I gave my dog a shower and she smelled less like poop so, pretty much a win.
Dirty and disgusting. Lady at the front said the owners just laid off a bunch of people so they have 1 person cleaning and 2 desk people and it shows!! Side door to the building doesn’t lock so anyone can walk in. After declining a room for being nasty and not cleaned at all they gave us a room that the door didn’t lock. Do yourself a big favor and stay literally anywhere else.
The check in was the worst experience and customer service i have EVER received the staff told me i was being “ugly” refused to check me in until i called my father (?????) because “we don’t have the same name” WE HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME CLEARLY WE ARE RELATED - he booked it and i paid for it so he got the rewards. i’ve been making this trip for 13 years and NEVER had trouble checking in because OBVIOUSLY we have the same name. i’m 30 not 13. I had the confirmation email IN MY EMAIL with my dads name and that somehow wasn’t valid. This woman didn’t even have a room ready, didn’t know what i was checking into, i’ve had the reservation for over a week. The utter unprofessionalism and nasty behavior was ridiculous. i never once raised my voice and she still accused me of yelling and being ugly. garbage place look elsewhere…
Our room had obviously not been cleaned, even at a non-pandemic level. The pillows had not been washed and smelled of BO, and there was a pile of sand - yes, SAND - on the side table in the sitting area. The refrigerator was not working, either. Cannot recommend this hotel.
This hotel was nice and clean. Rooms are well appointed. everyone we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Need to forget the breakfast for now. Had biscuits and Gravy the first morning... it could have been better... too thick and biscuits were hard except the ones on the bottom. We took some cereal with us anticipating that breakfast would be sketchy so just needed milk.
