Upon arrival there were two people ahead of me trying to check in. It was very obvious the two employees working were very challenged by this. Neither one had any common courtesy skills as far as any apology for the length of time it was taking them to check in the guests. It took over 30 minutes for me to be checked in. When I finally got my room key the room was actually better than I expected. The property was quiet and the location is very good with a Cracker Barrell restaurant next door. Breakfast was basically cereal, pastries, coffee and juice.
We made a reservation here for one night and arrived after being on the road over 12 hours. The clerk asked me for another credit card to hold for "incidentals" after I'd already placed the room on one for the night. We've been staying at Choice Hotels for 30 years and had never been asked to do this. We took the back staircase up to our 2nd floor room and it was grungy looking with dirty carpets and in need of painting so I wasn't sure what to expect in the room. However, the room was very clean and comfortable with everything in good condition. There were kids running in the halls at first but it all got quiet around 10pm and we were able to get a good night's sleep. Due to Covid-19, the breakfast was grab and go packaged foods. My one concern was that none of the staff wore masks in spite of the sign on the door asking customers to wear them, which we did.…
Stayed for just one night (Sunday). I was hesitant to stay at a hotel so close to the interstate because that usually means hearing a lot of noise from the road, but I had read other reviews stating this place was quiet. And to my pleasant surprise, they were right. I heard very little road noise, especially with me keeping the fan running all night. Didn't partake in the free breakfast or any other amenities (wish I could have arrived earlier in the evening to get dinner at the Cracker Barrel next door). A good room for a good price.
Hotel exceeded our expectations. For the cheap price of roughly $50 a night, the place was clean, clearly renovated, in a good location, and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Fantastic for a budget stay.
I stayed her on April 16th, 2020 during COVID 19. The motel was almost completely empty. The check in was easy. I had a queen bed room on the first floor. The room was clean but needs some updates. The night stand had some damage. The shower was a walk in no tub and that was nice. Great hot water and pressure. I did enjoy the refrigerator and microwave as I brought my own food. The price was great but it should be lower when not getting breakfast or the use of exercise equipment and pool.
