Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is in a heavily congested area and it was a little hard to get to. The clerk who checked us in was Super Nice! She gave us a room that was perfect for us at the time, but once we got settled in, we discovered that the TV in our room was messed up with green lines on the screne making it impossible to watch anything on. The clerk again was super helpful. The maintiance crew had left for the night, so she had to give us another room until they could get the TV fixed in that room. We only had to move to the next door room!! The room was just a little different but still nice with a comfortable bed and large bathroom.

I stayed here for a week for the Ray Scott Championship (bass fishing tournament). I got an excellent weekly rate by calling their customer service line directly. Check-in was quick and the personel were helpful and courteous. The lobby had a strong cigarette smoke smell permeating throughout, this was thankfully not the case for my room. Though the paint was chipped in a few places and the furniture showed some signs of wear and tear, it was more than andequate for my needs. I got a ground-level room in the inner court. It included both a fridge and microwave. Many businesses are within walking distance, including Academy Sports just accross the street and several restaurants. It's only a 15 minute drive to Green Pond landing where most tournaments launch from. Also, the parking lot has plenty of space for those who bring their boat. I would definitely stay there if I was in that neck of the woods again.

Very friendly staff. Room looked very nice. Poor sleep because bed was firm, but don't hold that against the hotel. A firm bed lasts longer. The bathroom smelled but I think it was from the disinfectant. Once I aired out the room, it was fine. Some of the channels on the tv was fuzzy, which was strange, but didn't affect me much. I appreciated the extra plugs, as some hotels make them difficult to find. They had a refrigerator/microwave/ coffee maker/toiletries. There are about five places nearby you can eat at. Only negative is I had to run the fan to block out street noise.

This is without a doubt the WORST hotel I’ve ever seen!! I had booked a two night stay online…..when I arrived, I discovered all rooms were accessible only from outside & didn’t look very secure……the rooms had a moldy smell, the carpets were badly worn, filthy, and were stained & had cigarette burns in several places; there were issues with the tv and the a/c in the room. I told the desk clerk that I wasn’t going to stay, they still charged me for one night even though I was only in the room for less than 30 minutes. If you’re traveling to Anderson, do yourself a favor & STAY AWAY from this hotel.

I contracted Covid and could not travel with my trainee because I was quarantined. I contacted Hotels.com to get a refund or cancel my room. They contacted the management at quality Inn and they refused to refund my money or cancel my reservation. I was there for unable to travel to that location and lost over $160 on the two rooms that I had booked. I will never ever stay at this place again. The management team there is completely unsympathetic regarding health problems. They were willing to jeopardize the guests in their hotel and their staff to my Covid infection. Shame on them.

Non smoking room smelt of smoke as soon as door opened. Carpet had many visible footprints. Throw on bed had one or two small holdes made from cigarette butts. Room was tired. Bathroom clean. Complained to front desk and offered another room. Desk clerk was empathetic that I change rooms to resolve the problem. However, carpet was the same as in my original room. Since only staying one night remained in original room. Hotel [motel] bad choice when trying to save a few dollars.

Worst hotel I have ever booked. They were not ready for us when we arrived despite it being at 11:00 pm and after a 12 hour drive to get there. Room had not been vacuumed. something had spilled in the refrigerator and not cleaned, the door to one of the cabinets was completely torn off and laying next to the unit. The room smelled like smoke and the A/C was not working. The maintenance employee sent to look at it knocked on the door holding a plastic food container, eating food and was literally licking his fingers. I could not tell if he was an employee or guest as he was wearing a dirty t-shirt and a pair of athletic shorts. Said he just dragged the unit up to the room a couple hours ago and then proceeded to kick it and push it with his leg in an effort, I guess, to get it working?

Eventually another woman came to the door, again could not tell if she worked there or not, asked if we wanted another room so that we would not be sweating all night with no AC. We were already on the phone looking for another hotel but in the mean time were taken down to another room and said the maintenance guy would bring the key to us to get in. However, 20 minutes later, after not seeing anyone else from the hotel, we had secured another room and went to the front desk and informed them that we were leaving. On our way out of the parking lot, we did see out maintenance guy sitting on the other side of the hotel hanging out with a few other people. So much for getting the key. We had already decided could not stay here by that point so that was irrelevant at that point. Just another data point to tell you how bad this place was. It is not worth the time or aggravation at any price for this place. We ended up 30 minutes further away than where we wanted to be but in a much nicer place.

I've stayed several times at this location, and every time, the front desk stands out. All the staff are great, especially at the front desk.. I just wanted to make special mention of ferionna.
There are tons of places to eat in the immediate area, and places to shop.

We reserved a non-smoking room. Room was horribly smelly of smoke. Same for my friend who was traveling with us and in room next to us. We arrived very late, were exhaused from a long day. Decided to stay in the room because other hotels in area were booked. It was horrible.
