Detailed Reviews
We had a group of 15. The waitstaff was very efficient. All our meals were served at the same time, correctly and at the appropriate temperature. The chicken was delicious. The spices were pleasing. The Tators were delicious. We had a wonderful time!

Overall review (Bad, OK, Good): Food = OK; Service = Good; Ambience = OK
Food:
In general, it was a step up from diner fare. It wasn't horrible, it was exceptional, it rode in the middle. The table ordered fried chicken livers to start - they were good, tasted as how livers (of any type) usually tastes. I ordered the 4oz Princess cut steak w/taters and cole slaw. It was cooked as requested but bland, like the meat was cooked w/no seasoning. However, the meat wasn't tough and tasted good - a little steak sauce should do the trick! Cole slaw was your typical cole slaw, nothing fancy. The taters had a good seasoning on top.
Service:
Attentive - the waitress was very friendly and nice. She didn't rush us to order. I didn't know what I wanted yet when my turn came so she told me to take my time and she'll return. The waters/sodas were filled/refilled before it reached the point of empty.
Ambience:
Has and old times charm to the place. There is outdoor seating under an awning during the nice-weather months.

Top notch dinning! Definitely something for everyone, from the salmon to their famous chicken and taters. Terrific place for meetings/gatherings or date night entertaining. Friendly wait staff and great owner!

I have been going to Harold's Inn since I was a little girl. I distinctly remember walking in the old back entrance with my grandparents and 2 brothers and the wonderful smell of their chicken greeted us! The daughter runs the restaurant now and she knows there would be mutiny if she changed the chicken seasoning! There are a few other signature foods that haven't changed since the beginning either. The food tastes wonderful and the servers are very friendly. Stop in and enjoy a home cooked meal!

I have eaten here serval times and each time it just keeps getting worse.
The chicken is extremely over priced and very salty. The Taters are even worse. Over seasoned and not worth going. Staff was very sweet and friendly. That was the only UP side
