Marijuans smoking right outside my window. Smell coming through the air conditioning vent at 3:00 AM. Really shady looking people everywhere inside and out. I certainly didn’t feel safe. I won’t attempt to pay less again. You get what you pay for I guess.
We did not like our room one bit. We are older, we set up our cpap machines , then we started to notice how disgusting the room was. We noticed that the pool was green, the curtains had food or some unkown gross marks on edges. The beds had old mattresses and were caved in and too soft. Not good but not a deal breaker as it was late and we were tired, UNTIL my husband opened the top drawer of the dresser. Lo and behold, it was FULL of pizza boxes. He opened them up and they were full of old smelly pizza, pasta, lava cakes, etc. SO GROSS. We complained and took food up and they said they would tell the manager and she would call us the next day. She never did. We would have left but it was late, we were tired and we had our medical equip already set up. It was a horrible experience as I kept thinking all night how dirty the room must be. I have pictures of the food that I will be sharing with the hotel.…
I was impressed with cleanliness of room and it was a pet friendly room with easy access to outside with pet. Negatives were pool was extremely dirty and shower/ Tub drained really slow and the complimentary breakfast wasnt much but okay. Would stay again.
Said none smoking, but that's all my room smells like. Could see smoke in air. Dirty, beside the yellowand stained bedding, the walls were filthy, floors not vacuumed, dirty appliances. Paid over 500 for a week.
This place is infested with roaches and other bugs and the rooms have a very strong smell of mold. Stay here if you like roaches, bugs, mold smells and bugs in your hotel. I was only in the room for a few minutes before i saw this.
Nice clean hotel. Free breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. First time staying gere but will make my go to place to stsy in the future. Nice room and just off the interstate it was easy to get to.
This hotel is great. Easy going and has just what you need. I stayed a week while in town on business. The staff are exceptional, the hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. I would stay here again.
From the superb and friendly staff (every single one of them) to the large and hot breakfast that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, muffins, juices and coffee (and so much more)to the easy on and off interstate 35 location (turn South on the street before Baymont Hotel - which cost more and doesn’t have a hot breakfast) you will love your stay here. If you are like us you will stay a extra night just to take in the town and the lake drive. No kidding the first night was so relaxing we stayed over a second night! DONT MISS A NIGHT AT BOARDERS INN. You will love it.
We have been regular customers for some time now, but no more. This place has gone down the drain. Bugs in the rooms, no food in the hot breakfast bar. The only reason we came back this time was the front desk clerk was so nice. It's a shame too because it's a nice property.
Even though I'm a Choice Hotels Diamond level frequent stayer, I have taken to booking here at Boarders when I'm overnighting in Ardmore. The other comparable 2.5 star hotel in Ardmore is the Comfort Inn and Suites, but Boarders wins this one. Comfortable office desk and chair, good TV selection, and I appreciate not having to move furniture to plug in my laptop. I also appreciate a REAL office chair at Boarders that doesn't leave me sitting about six inches off the ground like the one at Comfort Inn & Suites. Good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was a bit on the iffy side, but there are PLENTY of breakfast options in proximity to Boarders (Starbucks, Whataburger, etc.)
