If you are visiting Ardmore or just passing through, this is the place to stay. Solid renovated rooms large enough to fit a family, great pool, free breakfast and amazing staff. I have stayed at some amazing properties and the service at this hotel rivaled them. Also, they made a teeny tiny mistake on my billing record and when I pointed it out , they corrected it in five minutes flat AND they gave me Bonvoy points which was totally unnecessary. That is truly called going above and beyond, and I may one day have to go back to Ardmore just so I can stay here again.
I walked in and asked them if I can use my points for the night's stay. They recognized that I am a Titanium Elite member and they said yes, they will use my points for the nights stay. They asked for my credit card for incidentals which is normal. When I got home the following day, I received the billing and the hotel charged my credit card for the full amount for my stay for the night. I called them to remind them that they said they will charge my points. They said they could not do anything because I already checked out. That is dishonest.
The hotel has been completely renovated. Comfy beds, fabulous chaise/sofa combo, sparkling clean, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. The hotel breakfast (free) was the best hotel breakfast ever. The sweet lady who took care of it actually cooked the sausage in a front pan!! We ere there to celebrate a family birthday. The hotel front desk people ( all of them) set up the breakfast area to help us enjoy dinner together (Red Lobster take out.). They even brought a microwave out for us to use. We shared some birthday cake with them. The next morning for breakfast, they showed up with a card and a goody bag for my nephew. We were flabbergasted at their sweet gesture. You can’t go wrong here. Great people, price, and a great night’s sleep.
My husband and I checked n on Wednesday and checked out on Friday. We were in town checking out some parks and cabins in the area. Check-in/checkout process was quick and efficient. All staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a Studio King on the first floor. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. I liked the high ceilings as well. Loved the"enjoy your stay" note with the butterfly sticker from Bobbie that was on the desk in our room. Our bed was very comfortable. Pillows were soft and fluffy. The shower had poor water pressure and at times we would have to let the shower run for a few minutes for the water to get hot. Shower was stocked with Paul Mitchell products. Normally we prefer to stay on the higher floors do to they are less noisy, but we tried out the first floor this time. Our room was just four doors from the back door. This turned out to be very convenient since we were in and out a lot. Our vehicle was easily insight parked right outside our room window. No waiting for the elevator or entering and exiting through the front lobby. However with this convenience you will have more noise from other guest and noise from the Interstate traffic. The noise from the interstate traffic and guest may even be an issue on the higher floors since you could sometimes here people talk through the wall. We normally travel with a fan for this purpose, but forgot it this trip. The A/C work perfect and was quieter than most. The hotel for the most part was very clean except for the floors trampled on by a group of construction workers staying there. They tracked the floors with mud and dirt from there boots. Staff did try to keep cleaned up behind them. We found the location to be very convenient. They practiced social distancing, masking, and disinfecting for Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 they were not serving breakfast. Instead they put out breakfast bags every morning at 5:30 a.m. for guest to pick up. Our bags contained a blueberry muffin, granola bar, and a bottle of water (there is an I-Hop close by the hotel if you need a more filling breakfast). We were good with our breakfast bags. The hot tub and pool are open. They would call you when the hot tub became vacant to allow social distancing. This also was not a problem since we were there during the week and there were not many guest. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. …
We arrived late, close to midnight, but the hotel was easy to find in the dark. Front desk attendant was pleasant, even given the later hour. We had two rooms for our large family. Both were clean and comfortable. Grab n’ Go bagged pastries for breakfast during the pandemic.
