We decided to walk from Bodrum to Gumbet for a change and something to do.What a mistake,the beachfront is a disgrace and in my opinion a Heath hazard.The photo I have attached is not a one off,it's the same along the whole disgusting sewer.We quickly got into a taxi, breathed a sigh of relief as bodrum appeared, even the taxi driver was laughing as we discussed the affect,our walk had on us

After seen Alanya, sea and beach Gumbet beach seemed missing basics...People still enjoy so not an issue...plenty to do around.Lots of boat trips and other bays also only short journey by dolmus ( small bus)...

On the first day I used the shower. The pressure from the shower made the shower head fly off and whack me on the face. This left me with two cuts for the remainder of my stay. On the same day I sat on the toilet seat which was broken and it sliced my buttocks open. To top it off I lent on the railings on the balcony to admire the view only to find out the railing was faulty and it collapsed almost sending me to my death. I went and complained to the non English speaking reception who did not even apologize but just said the railings would be fixed. The next day we arrived back from shopping to find the railing had been 'fixed'. That evening my Mother did the exact same thing I did whilst admiring the view and yet again the balcony collapsed, this time luckily I caught my mother which saved her from the fatal fall. Enjoyed stay @ resort. Staff friendly. Rooms spotless. Highly recommend. Right on the beach. Walking distance from Bar Street. Lots of water activities right on "doorstep". Meals in resort good with a large selection.

The hotel has a really nice location, the view from room 219 is nice, and the cleaning ladies work is excellent! The problem may be the loud music from the next hotel, but to be honest we had better things to do when we were in the room ;) The breakfast is really poor, don't bother yourself to get out of the bed just for that. The sea is so clear, sandy beach and during the day with kinda lounge music. I really advice you to taste the lemon-mint frozen at the hotel's bar,it's mindblowing!! If you come here to have fun, enjoy the natural beauty of this country, and the company of you beloved ones, you will have a great time. If you come here to find problems and something to complain about all the time, of course you can do this as well. But if you come for luxury, don't choose the cheapest hotel.…

Loved this place so much did not want to leave it & the people was so friendly helpful & gave you good bargain shops to go to been going for 3 years now & I can't go anywhere else as it's like my 2nd home that's how the people make you feel & we stayed at roadhouse apartments found the people so friendly helpful & caring miss them all at roadhouse 🇨🇳🏝✈️🌞🌞🌞🌝🌟🌴💃🕺💋👌🏻👍🏻 trying to book for September 👍🏻thank you gumbet & roadhouse for making my holiday so good you's was so much fun to be with & made me Helen O'Brien & lisa spence very happy to be staying at Roadhouse & Thank you's all in gumbet for being so nice to us 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻

The only two things I can criticise are that every day when the room was cleaned the cleaner always left the balcony door unlocked and open - problematic as we were on the ground floor right by the pool so anyone could have walked in the room. Also the music can be very very loud around the pool in the restaurant and on the deck they only have one control for the sound and like most bars and hotels in Gümbet they all seem to be permanently stuck on full volume. Hotel was clean and rooms and towels cleaned every day. Beds were extremely comfy I didn't want to get out of it!

I did not stay at this hotel but this hotel and pool is on the beach front and whilst visiting the beach - we was allowed to use their lovely pool because we was purchasing drinks. The drinks were a bit pricey but well worth it for the strong cocktails that were provided plus the access to their pool. If visiting this area of turkey again, i would stay at this hotel.

We found all the hotel staff very friendly and helpful, everyone spoke English to a certain degree, if not very well. Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding. Food was good, although we found all of Bodrum and Gumbet to be fairly expensive for eating and drinking. Lovely stretch of beach on the doorstep, although members of public also allowed, the hotel saved plenty of well placed sunbeds for hotel guests.

First of all we arrived at 4 am , literally there was no one to assist us , after the cab driver knocked on the reception door , a guy appeared from the pool side, just directed us to the room to find out that we have booked a different one . He didn't speak English at all so he called the manager who said he'll try to fix it in the morning. Offcourse he didn't fix it in the morning he blamed booking.com saying that they don't show the actual pictures or include true information No fridge in the room Very bad WiFi No one in reception and when there is someone they don't speak English A guy who might be the manager had a very rude manner Room facilities are very poor Drink and food prices are not worth it , it's like × 4 just 3 min away Very bad breakfast Stuff unfriendly Only location was great but didn't worth money …
