We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite from 13-15/10/22

Service & information by staff:
Was here twice. The first time (4 months ago) the reception told us the cloud jacuzzi was under renovation. This time (October) we ask if the cloud jacuzzi had completed its renovation and they told us we are not able to access as its for residence & AirBnb only!!!! What?!! One of the reason we book this hotel is because of the cloud jacuzzi! Hence my children just make do with the swimming pool… Really disappointed! Breakfast no buffet concept. You choose 2 menu per guest. Well that is great cos it taste good but on our 2nd breakfast (before checkout) they offered to serve breakfast in our room as the restaurant was full. Hence we were delighted! BUT the problem lies with the in room dining staff who took our order. Her tone was not friendly and she messed up our orders! Didn’t even ask what drinks we want and didn’t even bother to say sorry when she made the mistake of giving us 3 menu short. Pls take note that you need to go to the reception at 66th floor to advice them to bring your luggage up. This mean you need to leave your luggage downstairs. Haha. And they will only give you 1 access card.

Room:
The hotel room was clean but there was a stinking smell and the toilet do not flush well. You need to flush a few times. The ventilation fan was very loud! The mini fridge was not cold from the first time we came in July and this time in October (different rooms). The in house maid just did the bed and change the towels and topup the toiletries. The rest was untouched. Btw the bed n pillow were very comfortable.

View & location:
The view is magnificent! Our room got the view of the 3 popular towers in KL.
Location is about 15 minutes drive (without traffic) & 45 mins drive with traffic to the city centre. There is a minimart at the ground floor.

Overall it was an OK stay.

We had a good experience at Arte by Thomas Chan, ideal for 3 Adults we got a 2 bedroom room, something that not too many hotels in the city cater for, for this reason we choose to stay at Arte. A 30 minute drive into the city to do the touristy things and an hour drive to the airport. Grab and go was the mode of transport, beware if you get a taxi which are few and far between, out driver didn't use the metre and charge more than what he should of, but with our dollar it was still reasonable.
Staff were great, very obliging, particularly the last day when we got some laundry done, which seems to be done externally, l didn't select "express service", so we had a bit of a panic not getting our items in time, but the staff had it under control for us.
We had the set menu for dinner in the very opulent dining room, very nicely presented. We did experience the food not being served hot for breakfast and dinner.
Cocktails and coffee were excellent !
We were dissappointed the pool was under maintenance which was annoying, but we were able to use the complex pool which was great.
Had all the amenities in the room we needed, Coffee machine, shampoo, soaps, toothbrushes etc, the mini bar was empty but a convience store located on the lower ground was convenient .
Shout out to Jasmine, Antiqur, Ridwanul and Ronald, thanks for making our stay one to remember !

Hotel is beautiful and very instagrammable but there's no attention to detail..whatsoever. We first called reception 3 times before checking in to ask a couple of things and nobody picked up the phone. Then, Check in was alright but Staff at front desk gave very little information in regards to the amenities of the hotel almost like they didn't know. . Food is alright (menu is around rm300 per pax) but dinning room is way too cold and it makes what it could be a lovely dinner into a very unpleasant experience. I was shivering for over an hour. They did offer us a couple of schalls to cover ourselves which was a nice gesture but then chased us to the lift to return it which was a bit weird. We paid Rm 45 for a glass of wine - they first served what is equivalent to two fingers. That was ridiculous. Only after I said that it seemed a bit too little, then they served what was expected which is in my opinion a bit less than half glass. Breakfast was average, nothing extraordinary. Again a nice experience but little attention to customer satisfaction and detail.. the extra mile that would make it an unforgettable stay.
Advice - train your staff better so they can engage better with your customers. Thanks

My husband and I booked for a night stay at the Louis V Guest Room (accommodate for 4 with 2 bedrooms) .

The Hotel entrance , lobby , restaurant , room designs are awesome , absolutely worth 10/10 . But the room’s furniture are quite dirty and white walls in one of two rooms are dirty . Luckily we stayed in the master bedroom . The sink in the bathroom is made of wood and it’s moldy with black spots .
We liked there is a sink beside the living hall with nespresso coffee machine and twinning tea bags .

We checked in in the evening , and when we wanted to bathe , discovered no hot water , this is so annoying , quickly jumped out and called to the reception . Took us 1.5 hour to wait for the maintenance team to come & repair . They said the electric wire went loose , not only the bathroom cables , but also the rooms and living hall as well. That’s why we waited long for them to fix . Shouldn’t the hotel scheduled a routine maintenance ? Or check the on the hot water & other amenities before guests stay in ? Because when we first enter the room, air cond and lights are full blast , so we reckon they must have manually turn all on before we arrived.

Breakfast in the restaurant is weird - each room has 1 hour dining time . We ordered and waited for 30 minutes for food to arrive. Immediately the food was served the waiter said we have to leave in 30 minutes time - we couldn’t really enjoy a good breakfast . Anyways the design of the restaurant is simply gorgeous but the food was not impressive 3/10 star .

After breakfast . We requested to check out 1pm , (normal check out time 12pm) , due to yesterday maintenance team took so long to fix our hot water at night , they refused and charged us rm100/hour . Well of course we wouldn’t pay so we checked out at 12pm. It was such an unpleasant stay .I hope the management team can take this matter seriously because when we complained at the reception , they don’t seem to care much and said will report .

My impeccable staycation experience began when Mr. Yewin Fong and reception staff greeted me with the friendliest service. The check-in process was quick yet thorough. The reception lobby was beautifully designed which magnifies the European "reality".

J'aime Paris and J'aime the Parisian themed room that I had! The toiletries were decent and I especially liked the smell of the shower gel. (I do appreciate things like this) The nespresso capsules and coffee machine was a good and convenient cup of brew as well.

I find the breakfast choice of 2 per person pretty generous. Ordered the Classic Shakshuka (sous vide organic eggs are fancyyy) and Berry Smoothie Bowl resulted in an immediate food coma.. Thanks for feeding me well Lizah and Ishmael!

Perhaps something to take note of is that the suite has 4 air-conditioners, hence, it was very cold... but nothing a warm bubble bath can't fix ;)

Thanks Arte by Thomas Chan for having me. I'll be back!

Cocktails are excellent but decor would put Liberace to shame. It’s not classy people, it’s hysterically funny.
I’ve said “average” because the good levels out the bad really. The pics look fancy but in reality the picture frames are plastic and the “paintings” on the ceiling look like someone enlarged a pdf a bit too much so it went blurry. I can’t imagine why no one else hadn’t said they booked here for comedy value?? We sure did! It’s hilarious.
The room was as expected - good quality bedding and linens but the mini fridge was useless and not enough water.
The pool is awful and shared with the rest of the neighbours in the other hotel- it also will close if it rains because, eerrr maybe you might get wet??? I can’t see the logic here.
Thank god it wasn’t that busy because the lifts take ages as only 2 for the whole building.
Food was ok for breakfast, service very good but the Malaysian style of drastically undercooked eggs doesn’t make for a good shakshuka although it might work if that’s what you like.
There is a fantastic Japanese restaurant hiding in the car park downstairs- go there.
In all, go for a night for the great view and if you’re into taking if a million pictures of yourself (which it seems most people are here!!!), otherwise somewhere closer to town might be better value.

Worst service hotel in the world! The valet service is there but guess what, they valet didnt come to work!

The whole experience is really bad. This hotel has so much potential. The rooms & restaurant are very well design but the service level is so bad.

I wish a new management will take over. Someone who actually understand hospitality.

I dont think it’s that hard to turn around this place. They charge over 1k per night, at par as big hotel like Four Season which is located in a much superior location and the service level is like night and day.

I suggest them to have a conceirge in front and have proper staff to manage not someone who doesnt understand the hotek industry.

A place to AVOID at ALL COST until a better management takes over.

If u look at other 5 star review, all of them only have 1 contribution, so it could be fake review.

We arrived to the hotel tired after a long journey only to be told we cannot unload with baggage service at the entrance as there were vehicles idling on the entrance. We were told to park in basement and carried our own baggage (with 2 children).

3 lifts were reduced to two as one was for staff and only one room card was issued for a 2 bedrooms suite despite request for another. Check in desk said they have limited cards (??).

It took us nearly 40 mins from arrival to park, check in and get our room card and 45 mins to check out due to lack of lifts.

Room was dirty with ash on table top of sink and mold. Patterned plaster showed cracks, stains and poor constructed seam. Very uncomfortable stay at NZD350 for one night.

Don't stay if you value smooth check in, quality room and attentive staff.

We have never ever felt the urge to vacate a hotel like this before.

Positives

Spacious and clean room
Excellent Air con
Blackout Curtains and peaceful for sleep
TV facilities good
Good storage
Comfy sofa
Fast bellboy service and friendly people
Kettle and Nespresso machine good

This hotel has a strange vibe though, it’s really not like a hotel, it’s like a serviced residence.
There is nowhere to get served a drink or snack etc at the pools and there are thousands of residences here so so many people.
The lifts are shocking, allow 10 minutes to get down.
Breakfast is pretty poor, slimes slippery eggs and no healthy options at all, no yoghurt, fruit, granola etc.
The decor is already starting to degrade, plaster coming off and the wooden sink in the room is going mouldy. Not enough towels, no flannels, no pool towels available. Fridge in room not cold at all, Inexperienced staff which is very apparent. The clientele in the bar are not particularly desirable people, many playing loud TikTok videos all at the same time and getting in the way taking silly photos, staff door have the skills to enforce rules, despite having a dress code they didn’t seem to understand the need for a ‘don’t play loud phone noises code’ saw some accompanied by escorts which is a bit uncomfortable. Slow service. Cocktails very odd tasting.

Would not stay here again. Would not recommend. Thunder up on the 60th floor pretty terrifying and not comfortable to be sleeping up in the sky like that.

Despite the outer beauty of this place. The service is extremely poor for a 5 star hotel.

The parking system is garbage, you have to go to the 66th floor to validate your card every single time after parking, otherwise your car will be clamped! Then the breakfast! There's no buffet, there's a tiny menu with only 2 course that qualify to be called breakfast. The food was cold and tasteless with those waiters staring at you all the time and coming to take you plate every 10 minutes because you only have 1 hour per table. The last 15 minutes they came every 5 minutes as a hint to us to leave. As a family of 5 with 3 children between 3 and 4 y.o my wife and I couldn't finish our breakfast because we were feeding our daughters, and my dude kept coming to take off every single glass or plate we finish off. He even took some full plates without asking, creating pressure for us in a place and time that should be stress-free...trust me, I've been to RM200-250 hotels that are far better than this one with a huge open buffet and friendlier staff with better service. What a shame.
