Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The room is very clean and well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Good hot water in the bathroom.
The Guesthouse is spotlessly clean and there is always a member of staff on site. The young man that was there whilst we stayed was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always ready at the agreed time and there was plenty of it. This is a big island and the Guesthouse is centrally located between the two sandy beaches.
Kaashidhoo is a lovely island and the people are the friendliest you could possible meet, which is not something you can say for all islands in the Maldives.

Cleaning.
Good food too
varied breakfast every day, but I encountered some inconveniences.
Serviceable and helpful staff
*Cons :(-)
Internet speed.
Water pressure.
The tv didn't work.
The lack of a mini-fridge in the room to be able to have cold drinking water.
We came to stay for 7 days and 6 nights and at the reception he asked us to pay for 7 nights contradicting us. Proving to him with the calendar in front of us that we are right and only pay for 6 nights.
The defective condition of the bikes provided to go to the beach with them and promised at the reservation. I only went to the beach with them once and then gave up.
Let's get back to the food, two days in a row I found a strand of hair in the omelet, even though the boy who cooks was wearing a cap.
All in all, it's a quiet place, but we won't come back, nor will we recommend our friends to stay here.

I had visited with my family and 6 other members.

The staff were very welcoming and willing to help. The rooms are clean and each room has its own private balcony or an exterior area. The front and backyard of the hotel is a good place to sit and read, drink or hang around.

The island.
Not many people have known about Kaashidhoo. Yet this island has got several advantages over most islands around Male. The island had been opened to local tourism just last year so its untouched and unspoiled. The island is big (approx. 2.5 km) with more than 70 of it with forest. In these forests you would be able to see Maldivian farms, mangroves (Small and large-leafed mangroves, looking-glass mangroves etc) and various other unique local plants at its habitat. The locals are very good at farming and in gardening which is why every house is a garden itself.

Local life
People are kind and very nice to visitors. True Maldivian lifestyles are still seen in this island.

History
The island comprises one of the oldest historic sites in the country, locally known as "Tharaagandu". The ruins at cite are said to date back to 7th-8th century AD.

That not all.
Geographically the island is detached from the atolls and has its own reef. Small boats can be hired to go for fishing and snorkeling. Also there is a small uninhabited island just next to the island which is considered as part of the island. So you have got plenty of beaches and seclusion if you need. I think no or countable single islands could offer these combinations.
