We had stayed at this particular hotel previously many times in the past when it first opened but we were pleased to see many improvements had been made since. For the price we paid we felt it represented excellent value. The included buffet breakfast was substantial with a decent variety in f hot and cold selections and we were pleasantly surprised. There was a lovely bar on site and a nice restaurant available for lunch and dinner. Corridors to rooms are all lined with carpet which was not the case originally which helped to dampen the noise of luggage rolling along which was a problem in the past. A really short easy walk to check in at airport. We would happily stay again as rooms were well appointed and we thought this represented very good value for money for an overnight airport stay with early departure.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from terminal 2, but we didn’t immediately find how to get there; there wasn’t enough navigation in the terminal itself.
It took 7 minutes to get to the shuttle to terminal 1 in the morning - very convenient.
Stylish lobby and patio.
I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which starts at 6 am - there is a choice of Chinese, Malay, Indian and European dishes.
The room is small, the bed is also not very big (although we knew that we booked a queen size), the bathroom is very small.
The room has a hairdryer, 2 bottles of water 0.5l per person, safe, TV.
Noticeable audibility from the corridor, but you can’t hear the noise of the airport or cars, birds chirp in the morning)
Overall a great option for one night

The hotel room was okay.
The terrible thing is that since 2.30am, the staffs keep on going in and out of the linen room and banging the doors.
The housekeeping staffs are working too early, that customers could not have a good night rest!! I hope Tune Hotel will ask staffs to start working after 7am or 8am. This will help the customers a lot!!
And for rooms that are allocated near rooms that are used by staffs, they should have a door holder, which avoid doors from shutting with a bang.
A terrible experience where customers pay to stay for the night, and not only for a few hours!!!
Not again Tune Hotel!!!

Hotel location is probably a plus for Tune Hotel KLIA2. However, upon arrival, I noticed the wave bump walkway into hotel. Definitely not ideal for guest who has heavy luggage and literally has to "pull" the weight of the luggage towards entrance.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful.

I had my dinner at "Makan" restaurant which I was rather disappointed with the quality of the food and service staff. Waiters do not seem to speak Englisch properly and that is probably why they are not familiar with the menu when I tried to order "local" dishes. After the meal, I ordered a teh-tarik and the bill... I waited nearly 20mins for my order only to be told that the teh-tarik is not available anymore.

Upon going back to my room, I took a shower before bed only to find that the lever of the shower diverter valve came off. I tried to screw it back in but obviously the lever is rusty and cannot be screwed back properly. Also, the shower water temperature was merely lukewarm and doesn't get warmer.

This morning, I woke up at 6am with smell of cigarette smoke in my room. Obviously some other guest must be smoking in their room and hence it went through the ventilation into other rooms as well.

For price value vs restaurant, amenities of hotel... I don't think I will come back here. My ratings and compliments goes to the friendly receptionist.

Awful experience, these airport hotels are there to feel refreshed and stress free for a pre or post flight, this place just made me stressed and I got zero sleep. I was on the third floor, musty smell, damp and rain came through into hallways from the shutters. A swarm of birds live on the trees surrounding the hotel and make unbelievable noise throughout the night.

There are understandably guests coming and going through the night and i experienced a large group who had zero courtesy even at 1am, they were loud, obnoxious sand talking very loudly for over 30m in the corridor, and then continued throughout the night in short bursts. Staff are either completely unaware of this or don’t bother to rectify.

I recommend creating peaceful zones, or no talking zones which guests can opt into or at least signs asking other guests to be courteous to fellow travellers and keep the noise down.

Room is very basic, no hand towels nor cup holders for your toothbrushes which is just unhygienic especially that there are general bugs around the room. Windows are not noise cancelling meaning you can hear music from the bar downstairs and anything that passes outside, and there is no phone in the room. Coffee is instant and only available to buy in the reception during early hours of the morning.

I am giving two stars for the experience of two positives, the bar/restaurant in view of food and drinks and for the friendly efficient staff I met including front of house, hospitality and bellboy team. Food is great, music and vibes also great.

Fully aware that for the price I paid £50, I didn’t have the highest of expectations however, airport hotels are there to serve a purpose, to help you get some shut eye, sleep, refresh and feel ready for the next leg of a trip. Instead I left feeling exhausted, stressed and quite peeved, the complete opposite of what I expected to achieve by booking here.

Delivers on all the fronts that matter. Comfy beds with good pillows, a shower with great water pressure and hot water, for a "budget" hotel, you get a restful sleep and a refreshing shower. Amazing blackout curtains also allow for uninterrupted sleep any time of the day.

Not my first stay and will not be my last too!! For airport hotel location is good and i noticed this time around they have eleviate the ramp going up to lobby..should have done it long time ago...pushing up big n heavy luggages was tough before this. I have to the rate is not considered very cheap considering only very basic amenities are provided but whatever it is please look into the maintenance for the comfort of all guests. Please check the tap at the sink in room 123...its not working very well and housekeeping should have known but did not notified maintenance...housekeepers need to be educate in terms of acknowledging things to be done and repairs that need to be carrief out for the room!!

Very clean and comfortable room. It’s well worth the price to get a day room for 12 hours if you’re landing early in the morning and departing that evening. Shower temperature and pressure was great. Bed was very comfy. The ceiling fan is great if you don’t want to sleep with air con. You also get a voucher for the restaurant BUT only for one person. The other person will have to pay and it is expensive for malaysia. The decor and ambience of the restaurant was really nice, but the food was poor quality, especially for the price. You can find better food and cheaper inside the airport.
Note that some of the signs within the airport that direct you to the hotel are incorrect. You need to go to the car park lifts and go to CP3 and walk about 5 minutes from there to the hotel

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Basic toiletries are provided. Very near to klia2, took me around 5-8mins walk to get to the hotel from arrival hall. Able to wash and iron clothes at communal laundry room at ground level, available 24 hours, at no charge. This hotel has cafè and snack bars, and a beautiful lounge to hangout. I ordered a cheeseburger and have it sent to my room, it was juicy and delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, suitable for those who have an early morning flight or just want to have a good rest before the next flight.

They are 24/7. Check their website as they might have a package that allows a traveller to stay for a couple of hours. In the alternative, look out for Premium Lounge at KLIA2 that is also 23/7 and has a short stay package. If you are not clearing immigration but merely transit then look out for Sama-Sama Express at Terminal 1. What I appreciate in any of these facilities is the opportunity for a hot shower.

Dear @farjanaa of London, the distance between Tune Hotel KLIA2 and Terminal M according to Google Maps are as below: 11 mins drive; or 47mins walking time. Alternatively, if distance and time are of the essence to you and money is not too much of an issue, perhaps you may wish to consider a higher priced option, namely: the Sama-Sama Hotel which is exactly adjacent to Terminal M with just a “buggy-ride free service” away. Hope this helps. p/s: to those who are unaware, Terminal M means Main Terminal. In Malaysia it means KLIA (a.k.a KLIA1).
