Went for business meeting. Paid my room for RM 80. Room is basic and liveable.
My ONLY COMPLAINT is hotel guests not respecting the hotel rules. Early in the morning, i was woken up by cigarette fume from the exhaust ventilation system. It was so strong and made my room stuffy. I called the hotel reception but they couldn't detect from which room the cigarette fume came from.

I stayed at this hotel after receive recommendation from a friends, wherever during that time my preferred hotel are fully booked. I haven't stay at budget hotel or unknown brand hotel before this, It kind a gambling staying at this hotel, I'm afraid getting bad experience, since I bring my parents - I need the best place for them. Unluckily it is school holiday most of the best hotel in Kuantan are fully booked.

I'm booked this hotel though agoda.
We arrived early around 12.15 PM & straight away check in at the counter.
The receptionist really nice to us. She mentioned, we arrived early. But it is okay, because the room is ready and she give the rooms card & show nicely the location of the elevator.
The room are small, clean, neat & conformable.
The shower are small & clean.
The room wall are not sound proof so you will be able to hear your neighbor talking or people walking & talking in front of you room. (During my stay, I just hear it once).
Breakfast, we do get the breakfast voucher, but we not go for it. We go to downtown for breakfast.

I do read lots of negative review about this hotel. But during my stay, luckily I haven't experience it. Maybe because I just stay for room.

Will I recommend this hotel to anyone? My answer will be Yes, if you out of options & you need room for sleep and shower.

Will I be back to stay at this hotel? My answer will be Yes, but it will be my last option.

Super slow service. Aircond unit broke down four times in 24hrs, breakfast buffet out of food and no refill. Staffs cant speak english nor malay. The owner should just stick to managing the supermarket. Called the maintenance to repair the aircond unit and had to wait for 40 minutes. The ironing room has very bad condition ironing board with holes in them and the room has no ventilation. No fan, no windows. I was sweating while ironing my clothes. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

Paid RM118 for a super small room in Kuantan, room is new and looks decently clean and tidy, but the problem began as my son started to shower and realized they forgot to put towels in the room! Called 3 times and waited for 50minutes before the housekeeping deliver it. Aircond not working well and when asked they said it's because the hotel is full and it will trip when capacity is full (what?!). Water is super small in the shower, and no hot water btw. Super bad service and facility, won't recommend it for this price in this small town.
If the management don't work on improving these problems (they are not ready for full capacity) I think in years they would be running out of business.

I stayed at this hotel many times (5 times or more) for work trip. It's an acceptable budget hotel for a short stay.

LOCATION:
Nearest hotel to UIA Kuantan (International Islamic University Malaysia), Kuantan Medical Centre, sports complex and a few government agencies offices.

It's in Indera Mahkota area, approximately 7km from Kuantan town.

ROOMS:
* Superior and Deluxe room are the standard room with queen sized bed. The room rather small, but comfortable enough.
* Japanese room is much bigger. Slightly different than other decor; with a Japanese table in the middle of the room (may use as laptop table)
* Family room with extra bed (for those who travel with kids)
* Suites have a huge sofa and a working desk (as in the pictures I shared). The only room with a bath tub. Bed size - queen.

Pros:
+ It provides basic amenities (tea making facility, safe box in the room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom).
+ You can walk to several restaurant/cafes nearby. Particularly, Nasi Kukus Mama beside the hotel provides tasty, reasonable-priced lunch.
+ TMG Express supermarket, 7-eleven, printing shop and barber shop also within walking distance.
+ Ample parking spaces, including basement parking.

Cons:
- Room cleanliness becomes inconsistent these days.
- Ventilation system must be poor. Coz I can smell a distinct stale smell in the room. My sensitive nose can also smell a hint of cigarette smoke from somewhere. I had to buy Febreeze / air freshener to make my stay better.
- Free breakfast selection was very limited and food quality was average . (Local fried rice and noodles, nuggets/sausages, porridge, thin slices of white bread + jams, 1-2 types of fruits, cereal, coffee and tea) Egg counter sometimes unmanned, you have to wait for him. Just enough for quick breakfast before you head out from the hotel.
- Free wifi, but not reliable.
- No 'Do not disturb' sign at the door.
- Iron and iron board are provided at the end of room corridors. So you have to iron your clothes outside, unless you bring your own.
- No mini fridge, no wardrobe (just hanging rod provided) - Similar to other budget hotels.
- No room service provided. You're even reminded not to bring food into your room.

Note: Pictures I share are from their Suites room type. (Deluxe/Superior rooms are more basic, and much smaller).

The hotel is clean and new with big rooms for the 3 of us but not sure about the standard room. The location is ok. Just a 5 minutes driving will bring you to town area. The breakfast was out as they are renovating the restaurant during the time i travel but heard it's just a basic breakie. Price are cheap if you hv 3 person staying in the same room as i compare to others unless you travel by 2 person then there is nore option out there. The receptionist are helpful and friendly.

The hotel is new and it is located far away from the hustle and bustle of the noisy traffic in Kuantan. I have stayed there three times, the latest being on 3 Mac 2013. I like the location because it is really close to UIAM, where my son is studying. During my latest stay, I took the queen deluxe room which cost me about RM157.00 inclusive of breakfast for 2 persons. The room was a bit small but it was still okay, the toilet was clean although I hate the translucent glass door, the parquet floor was clean and the bed was good. The funny thing was that the room has no lockers. They have a rod with several hangers for you to hang in your clothes. So it was a bit messy to see all the clothes hanging without a proper locker. The free wifi didnt work but it did work when I was there previously. Overall the hotel is okay although it is a little bit expensive.

A family's friend did their wedding reception here. So he booked us a room since we're coming from KL. The room was okey for 2 adults and 1 toddler. nothing much in the room, but the room was clean. The breakfast buffet was quite okay. And the food during the reception was also okay for our liking.

The only good hotel in the area if you need to visit the International Islamic Antarabangsa Medical Centre and the University. It is within walking distance. Around the vicinity are shops and cafes. Room is decent for a superior room but the toilet is small. Good for transit and short stay. Bring own toiletries as they will charged for extras. Extra pillows are chargable. Breakfast is decent but do not expect too much. WiFi is available but not that fast. This is a Non Smoking Hotel throughout. A small pool is on level 4. Rate is reasonable.
