Detailed Reviews
The price of the room was reasonable given that it was during a Malaysian festive season as well as a long weekend break. Our room (suite) comes with a smaller room with an attached bathroom which is convenient for the four of us. Both rooms are equipped with standard amenities which is a plus point. The location of the hotel was tucked behind the main road so there was minimal noise level from the streets. The check-in and check-out process was hassle-free. In a nutshell, this hotel is well priced for a short stay in Kuantan.

Travelled to Kuantan and we didn't have any plan where to stay, bumped and attracted to Seasons View Hotel big poster and we straight away to the hotel. Was very surprised with the reasonable price for the standard room, yet it comes with breakfast. Room was clean and tidy, but a bit disappointed with the bedsheets and musty pillow. When did the last time the management change it with a new one? Wifi was okay, would be nicer if the room get a simple touch of decoration because the wall was blank and empty. Had breakfast on the next morning and we were served with Nasi Lemak, fried rice and pancake. A very recommended place to stay.

To whom it may concern. Mrs Mohgan here, I would like to share my journey to Kuantan, Pahang Malaysia. The hotel that I stayed was The V Hotel at Jalan Haji Abdul Rahman,Kuantan. This hotel is a new hotel, a year old. This is the first time that I came across a hotel has serve us with thier best service ever. The manager Mr David Low who is kind, very! very! helpful and humble person. He has quote me the best rate for my group booking. He has given us the best arrangement for the breakfast as we requested for vegetarian food and he serve us extra food on buffet style. I will rate this hotel as 3 star hotel as rooms are good, comfort and clean. Yes, of course the front desk staff and room service staff are very good and helpful. My group have enjoyed staying here and they have given their best complement to this hotel.
Keep it up V Hotel!!!.

We checked in for two nights at this hotel and given the 'best' room, which is the most expensive room as the one we normally had was fully booked. We have stayed at this hotel before and our experience was good. That was years ago. This time around we couldn't believe that the most expensive room is not well-maintained. The air conditioning unit, which is a split unit, blew hot air. It didn't work at all. The casing of the unit is held together by a cellophane tape running along the joint of its body.
We would be happy if the manner in which they handle this problem was satisfactory. We were told that all rooms a fully booked, hence we were not able to move to another room with a working a/c unit. It appeared that management of the front desk and maintenance are not coordinated. The repairman came three times. The third time we let him worked on the unit while we are having dinner outside. On coming back the a/c was still blowing hot air. We called the front desk, and the person replied that he would send a repairmen to assess the situation... After three visits, the receptionist still insist to send in a repairman, at 1130 pm at night. It seemed that either the repairman did not inform the reception, or the reception missed the thing altogether.
We were given, after many calls to the front desk, a cooling unit. and we have to sleep with it the whole night. Wasn't what we expect for the top of the line room.
On checking out we requested a compensation in terms of payment reduction, after all the room that we have is worst than the cheapest room at the hotel and we should be given another room, but they were full. Our request was not granted. We have to pay in full for a room that is far from meeting the standard. Next time we would just give this hotel a miss... perhaps they are confident that it will be full house forever...

Stayed at seasons view for 3 weeks. Comfortable, easy access, convenient. Modern decor. There is a designated parking area for the hotel. Anytime i dont have to park in the basement i am happy. Wifi available in the rooms. At first i stayed on the 2nd floor, and the room has no windows, i thought it was gonna claustrophobic but surprisingly i was ok with it. The room was not big, and i dont mind it at all. on our last week, me and my colleague was moved into a family room - it has 2 rooms in one, for about 5 people. shared bathroom.
Basic breakfast fare in the morning. After the first week, i ate toast daily.
There is laundry shop nearby if you do not want to use the hotel laundry service. There is also a great local food restaurant nearby Ayob Patin House, go there for lunch if you can! Mon-Sat only.
There is a shopping mall nearby walking distance if you ever need to get anything.
The only issue we had was, my colleague room has a connecting door and even though it is a no smoking floor but the guests next door smoked in the room, so she suffered for one night, and the smell just didnt want to go away. The staff was helpful enough to try to get rid of the smoke odour.

I'm here with my family for a 4D3N trip with one mission to explore the excitements of what the East Coast has to offer, esp. in Kuantan, Pahang. Hence I've found this hotel which (I thought) was comfortable for my family, and at a good price.
Check-in upon arrival:
+ Lobby of minimalist design
+ Cool air-conditioning for a 'welcome'
- No greeting from the counter
- Service without a smile
- Indifferent attitude
Room:
+ Simple and sufficient furniture
+ Room with a functioning window
+ Average room cleanliness
+ Housekeeping is friendlier than the attendants at the main desk
- There was a little oil on the floor which we called the main desk for assistance. We were told (in an unhelpful tone by the guy at the counter) that housekeeping took their leave as their operating hours were from 9am - 7pm, we were given a hand towel to wipe the oil off on our own.
- Room lighting were somewhat dim
- Bathroom extractor did not function properly
- Provided wardrobe was dusty and unkempt, we used alcohol wipes to clean them and it became black
Free (or Paid) Breakfast:
+ Average quality (don't expect a 4-5 star meal, enjoy a simple and basic Malaysian treat)
+ Average number of selection
+ Unending refill of food
- Waitresses are unfriendly, unhelpful
- Uninterested attitude towards customers' inquiries
- Talk and laugh loudly among coworkers during service
Parking space for hotel guests:
+ Ample parking spots
- Lack of shades to shield cars from the heat
- Customers from the neighbour Malay food stalls may take up spots in the reserved hotel parking lots
Overall verdict (max 5 stars for Outstanding, 1 star for Disappointing):
* Check in and Check out 2
* Front Desk 1
* Housekeeping 4
* Room 3.5
* F&B Quality 3
* F&B Service 1
* Parking 4
* Access to public transport 3.5

The room I stayed in had bedbugs and I woke up at 2am scratching non stop. Never staying in this hotel again and I advise others to do the same. The manager refused to refund my money until I threatened to report the hotel.

My family and I stayed in a room with 2 queen sized beds for the 4 of us. Top floor facing the front. It was far enough from the kitchen so there wasn't any disturbance. It was a good price, RM160; decent price for their renovation 3 years ago. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. One complain was the breakfast. Rice was not cooked well, they only served coffee and tea, bad quality of sausages and waiters weren't the friendliest bunch. Other than that RM40 per person for the room was quite alright. No pool, no gym.

This is my second time staying with Seasonview. And this time round my kids were having flu. So we find that the aircon inside the room is not helping. It makes them sneeze a lot. And with the absence of a ceiling fan, solely relying on the aircon makes their running nose even worst. I guess their aircon must be very dusty. Perhaps they need more maintenance to ensure it is clean.
Other than that, if you are healthy and fine, the place is not bad. Morning breakfast has improved slightly compared to last year, but still a 3/10. The rest I give it a 8/10 for this category of hotel.
Before arriving, they confirm giving us a room for RM138 because it has no window (usual price RM148 per night). But when we checked in, we saw there was windows. We didn't ask as well. So when we check out they charge us RM148, although initial confirmation is RM138 for a room without window. So the small matter is they "upgraded" the room for us and didn't notify us. No big deal.

I was planning to stay at another hotel but changed my mind at the last minute since I want it right in the city and while having my afternoon tea in one mamak restaurant, I started searching for nearby hotel and found Seasons View. Room available at affordable price with 3 vouchers for breakfast. Across the hotel is food court so I went out almost midnight for supper. In the morning, I shifted my business discussion to the breakfast area and used up those vouchers. My business trip went well. WiFi is not easy to get though from my room. Maybe it is right at the corner somewhere. I got it with my iPad but not with my iPhone. My minimal 3G was actually faster than WiFi I got at my iPad.
