The location of this hotel was great, easy to reach the East Coast Mall by walking distance.
I booked 4 rooms. During check-in at around 3pm I got key for 1 room only and the balance 3 were ready at late evening.
Several cockroaches were found in one of the rooms.
We also noticed there were short of staff at the cafe during breakfast to clean up tables. Clean plates and cups were not available until we had to request from the kitchen staffs. Replenishing of food was quite slow too.
I wish I can give you an exceptional experienced review (as per your email), but the actual experience doesn't match an exceptional especially with the price I paid.

I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at your hotel during the peak school holiday season, and while I understand that the room rates were increased by 40%, I was disappointed to find that my room was not equipped with a bath towel. This is a basic necessity that should be provided in every room.
I kindly request that you implement a thorough checklist to ensure all essential items are in place before handing over the room key to guests.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This was my favourite hotel of all time. The check-in counter staff at this time were all new and one of them, Ms Kamaliah, did not have the tactfulness in dealing with the customers. As I was going to pay using the debit card, she informed me that I would need to pay a certain deposit, something new at this hotel. When asked why, she bluntly said that it was the hotel regulation. If I did not have the credit card, she directed me to pay cash which can be withdrawn from the ATM in the nearby mall or another business building. As I had already, waited for about 6 hours for the room, having arrived early in the morning from KL, I further asked her if she was able to provide the room and I could do the payment later. She could not. She turned very defensive when I told her that I had been coming to the hotel long before she became the staff and that this practice was new. She curtly said "you have to pay". It was during the check-out time, that another staff very respectfully informed me that there was a change in the management and that they do impose a deposit fee for the stay. Most of us in this digital era have resorted to other modes of payment and we do not carry much cash around. I am also not a fan of credit card. One of the things that can be improved by the hotel is by providing the ATM machine in the lobby so that this kind of problem does not arise.
The room standards are maintained, with very good pillows and bed, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The room is sound-proof. The shower quality and bathroom cleanliness are great.
The breakfast afforded a variety of selection but slightly lacking in taste compared to the previous years. Overall, it was satisfactory.
I would have given a 5 star rating had it not for the unfortunate encounter with the front office staff. It still is one of the best hotels in the region.

Hotel Zenith Kuantan very disappointment as Hotel Zenith Kuantan overall service performance is below par. Front Desk lady staff who carry out check-in & check-out not friendly not helpful and lack the hospitality enthusiasm. The room service was the worst as I have to repeat 3x time over 1 hr to get my room towels. The room interior is poorly maintained and lack the hotel 5-star housekeeping standard and room "hardware" malfunction like the norm as none of staff seem proactively resolve the issues but rather ping ping guest around. Breakfast is ok and breakfast variety with less choices for continental & asia,, and it chaotic when breakfast peak with staff don't seem to proactively plan for it.. for that kind of price, I reckon other kuantan hotels,,

The check-in lndian lady staff wasn't very friendly and gave me a low floor near the lift with poor facing. Exactly the opposite of what l had requested in my booking. The room size is acceptable but the bed comforter was stained, coffee mug chipped and the small TV in the room had very bad audio. I calĺed them many times to rectify the faults but it took them more than an hour to respond, saying that the staff is busy. The TV audio has a lagging effect. I ordered plant-based food for room service but but the wrong order came with prawns and meat which my wife and I can't eat because we are vegetarian. I informed the staff and he had to check with the cook and it took them a long time to replace the order. We lost our appetite by then. When we checked out, another Indian lady tried to scam us by deducting more than what we spent for room service from our RM200 deposite. When I asked for a receipt, she quickly added the correct amount to me. Although the Zenith hotel is big and nice, the service is terrible. I do not recommend anyone to stay at the hotel and will also not return anymore.

There were pluses and minuses with this hotel. As this was our 3rd time staying with them we had a predetermined expectation of its hospitality. You could walk across to Kuantan’s newest shopping mall; which would be great for grocery and/or some basic shopping.
When we arrived at the lobby it was extremely hot (AC must’ve been out?). Front desk staff was not helpful, almost to the point of being rude. We stayed on the 17th floor and the view was alright. Room was tired, bed was alright, hairdryer didn’t work, shower was excellent.
It was like hunger games for us during breakfast, as it was a struggle for their chefs and wait staff to handle a massive crowd of 150-160 people at around 9am. We didn’t get to enjoy their Ayam Berempah as it was never replenished during the 30 mins we were there.

A room on the higher floors would be nice.

First thing, the lobby was huge and spacious with the lounge and restaurant located on the first floor.
Checking in was a breeze, but a secure deposit per room, in local currency needed. Otherwise, I may choose to pay by card.
FO staff was friendly and helpful.
Location of the hotel within a stone throw away, from 2 of the biggest shopping malls, being East Coast Mall by CapitaLand facing the hotel.
Shopping is easy.
The room was acceptable. Cleaned and basic amenities provided.
Hospitable staff to attend to your requests.
F&B dept staff need to improve the quality and speed of food ordered in the cafe restaurant as, in my opinion, it is a bit lacking and disappointing.
Overall, it is a pleasant stay for families with children.

im a regular guest, i always booked online with breakfast, my last visit require me to extend stay for 1 more night, when i ask the reception (syafika) she said you can rebook online and get 10% zenrewards discount, or pay as walk-in without any discount, because im already at the counter, i choose to pay walk-in price which is more expansive than online rate. Next day during breakfast i was informed that my room is without breakfast, and i ended up paying more for 2 pax breakfast. Very-very disappointing!

I have stayed 5 nights in hotel. The rooms are clean and reasonable size except lightings in bathroom can be brighter. Would be better if they have option of firm pillow for good night sleep. Breakfast spread is good. Ample parking lots in well lit carpark, if guests are driving Location is very convenient across malls. My friend had a flat tyre one morning. We (ladies) were not able to change to the spare tyre and seek help from hotel so that we can go to the tyre shop nearby. Mr Luges kindly came to rescue. We were appreciative for this support. Hotel staffs’ showed professionalism and friendliness. This hotel will be my choice of accommodation in my future trips.
