We stayed in the bungalow. For 4 of us, it is huge. The jacuzzi is big but bring your own bubble bath as they don’t provide much except for a bar of cheap soap and a small bottle of body foam. It’s just a few steps away from Puteh Beach Bar but surprisingly the noise didn’t reach us. Breakfast buffet was rather sad. But it gave me a cheap motel feeling when they wanted to charge RM10 for each extra towel. Like, seriously now after paying more than a thousand? And management shouldn’t be too stingy to get more cleaning staffs to cope with the high volume. We got our room late, almost 4pm because they didn’t manage to clean it on time. The staffs did their best but the management shouldn’t leave all the cleanings to only a few staffs.

The rooms were very dated, bare minimum amenities. The bedsheets had stains, much dust were on wardrobes glass shelf and behind the side tables. There was lizard in the room. The socket near bedside table was loose. Furniture showed signs of aged.

I am staying at the chalets for 3 days 2 nights. There’s a few good and bad experience staying at this chalet.

Pros
1. Very nice beaches & location
2. Friendly service from the hotel staff
3. Room is nice and clean

Cons
1. The water pressure is very low
2. No wifi if you staying at the chalets
3. I saw one big monitor lizard strolling around near the chalet
4. The parking space is quite limited if you come during peak season
5. Not much of variety at the breakfast buffets (Some of the food is very salty)

I am enjoyed staying at this hotel but I hope they can improve more on the breakfast buffets and the water pressure

An awesome place to rest & relax. We have booked the bungalow unit for 2 nights. It has 2 rooms, dinning hall, a large hall & a working area. The master bedroom comes with a large toilet that’s equipped with jacuzzi, shower and an outdoor rainforest type shower place. Their newly open Sand Beach Cafe outlet serves amazing varieties of cocktails and a large selection of great food from their menu

Greetings

Me and my wife checked in on 25/7 3d 2n and it was sad to say that we were disappointed with the stay.
1. The hotel had some painting work going on which we were not informed about upon check in. Late evening when we wanted to go out that’s when we realised that our car had multiple white paint spots on it. The next morning I informed the front office but no action were taken and no calls we returned about it.

2. On the 2nd day 26/7 morning still no one had informed us about the paint job or the action taken about our car.

3. I had some thing to put in the freezer which I called the front desk if they could assist me and they said will call me back at my room. The best part is the restaurant calls me up and ask if I wanted to order any food. ( what a joke)

4. The bidder in the toilet was faulty and the rooms was not up to what we expected.

I used to be the Executive Chef of Putih Beach Bar and to be honest it’s a waste of money to stay there and pay RM 200+ for this kind of service and hotel.

I travel a lot during pandemic for business purposes and I understand how hotel business are so affected. Usually I don't mind with the reduce in quality during these difficult times, but I'm sorry, this hotel was unacceptable.
First off, upon checking in, they straight away gave me my room key, and the room (especially the tiles floor) was dusty. They didn't even provide any slippers. The toilet's smell was so bad because the vent fan was not on for a long time and there's a roach inside. The roach is already upside down so I just killed and throw it away. As the room was vacant for a long time (2 weeks), they should have made some 10 min touch up before letting me in.
The next morning at 6am I found another very much alive roach inside the toilet. I was so scared and called the receptionist. They told me that the housekeeping will only be available at 9 and they can only give my a Ridsect (but the one not specialized for roaches). I was mad but then okay lah, I sprayed inside the toilet but found that the roach wasn't here anymore. So I just sprayed randomly under the bed, behind the bedside tables, and to my surprise, three roaches (AT LEAST) ran out. They didn't die instantly, but somehow I think they became dizzy. One of them kept trying to climb up the wall, another trying to fly. I nervously went out of the room and had to have my breakfast in the lobby (we're supposed to have our breakfast in our room). I couldn't go inside my room as I was so scared. Around 915, the receptionist said that the room was clear. But when I entered the room, the first thing I saw was a roach on the bed!! They once again checked my room and assured that everything was clear. I had no mood of staying in. I quickly took my shower and just wanna check out ASAP.
I told them I was so disappointed and demanded a partial refund. I believe it was appropriate as I paid RM180 for a room and service to rest for two days 1 night. Instead I was traumatized and had to wait outside the room from 7am (when I was supposed to rest for my travel). The manager refused but offered me lunch ( why would I want a hotel lunch in Kuantan, local food are better) or a late checkout or a huge discount for my next stay instead (hahahah so that I can introduce myself to a few other roaches? No thanks!) -- to which I refused of course.
So he was like okay we cannot offer you anything else, so I was like okay here's my not so pleasant review of this place.

My buddy and I decided to take a last-minute trip to Kuantan, and stumbling upon Adena Beach Resort was a stroke of luck. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a serene atmosphere that immediately put us at ease.

One of the highlights of our stay was the charming café at the resort. With its laid-back ambiance, soothing music, and breathtaking sunset views, it quickly became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Sipping on our drinks while watching the sunset.

The way they suddenly have a bloody wake up call at 730am is so annoying with the Ting Ting Ting sound like at the airport or someone playing with the computer volume , I guess they don't have any guest staying there and wanting some guest to wake up and have a breakfast. This is not the way to treat guest , every body have their own options to have a breakfast or wake up at any time they want , I will not come here anymore cause of this annoying thing they doing. No respect at all to the guest. They just think of themselves only.

The Garden Family Chalet with 2 rooms were comfortable and nice. Staff were friendly and efficient too. Had dinner at the Beach Restaurant, food and environment were good too.
The beach was nice with many people enjoying walk, swim, riding horse and 4 wheel motorcycles. The swimming pools beside the restaurant were nice too although we did not manage to use. We love the buffet breakfast as the food were good and sufficient for all. Location also very good, nearby to shops and restaurants. Will definitely recommend and be back in future.

Family of 4 adults checked into family garden chalet. This hotel is situated next to Swiss Garden Beach Resort

Disappointing
1. The living area smelled ‘hapak’. The air con took awhile to cool the place.
2. Towels smelt and had stains. Had to change twice. Stains on Curtains and bedsheets.

3. The floors boards were wooden flooring and had signs of water marks ie flooded to the extend some areas the flooring look like collapsing
4. The chalet was close to the main road. Be prepared to hear sounds of motorcycles & cars passing
5. The empty mini fridge bar had ants inside.

Seriously, they need an overhaul of their rooms. Paying RM450 for this is a rip off.

Plus point.
1. 2 separate rooms. each has attached toilet.
2. All room prices included breakfast. What You get
nasi lemak, chicken curry, porridge, bread, butter, jam, kaya, cereals with fresh milk, baked beans ,sausages omelette. Free flow of Tea and coffee.

Drinking Tea was like drinking diluted water. Coffee was bad. Teh Tarik would be nice. Omelette was prepared fresh and that was nice. Nasi lemak with Sambal and crunchy nuts and Ikan bilis was yummy.
