If you can easily doze off, then the bedding is of great quality.

The feel of a proper 4 star hotel room, with very decent smell, the room was highly satisfactory for a solo trip on business.

Con. (1) Makan (meal) a bit susah (difficult). But having said that, the closest kopitiam hardly 2 kms away, Kemaman Kopitiam. (2) suburb

Pros. (1) Nice room. (2) Easy to get in and out - Parking is like at your own house (except you have to be a bit patient if there's another car in the way).

We stopped in Kuantan merely to break up our drive up the east coast from JB. We ended up staying two nights in this swish residence and found copious amounts of things to do in the area. The room was nicely put together and I was extremely grateful for the powerful shower and hot water! We were able to self check in and the area out the front with the pool was great for a morning work out. Have recommended this residence to friends already and will continue to do so!

Stayed for a night over weekend and we picked the room with a outdoor bath and we really enjoyed it. Room is very spacious and has all the amenities we needed. Everything is in order and clean and we really love the outdoor bath a lot.

I booked family room, travel with 3adults, 2kids. Room is big, clean and comfortable. Check in fast and owner available there during daytime. Location is strategic to go any tourist spot as well as food hunting. I would like to suggest may be can consider to have a autogate for security purpose.

Stayed here at Laman Sentosa over last weekend with my bf and another couple. We booked the duplex concept family loft with two king-sized beds. Both beds are very comfy with 4 fluffy pillows each. This room is clean and just spacious enough to accommodate 4 person. Bathroom is tidy and clean. However, the floor would be all wet whenever you shower as there is no separation between shower area with toilet.

Also, this hotel is surrounded by on-going construction projects, both left and right. In the morning, the hammering and drilling can be quite annoying especially if you plan to sleep a bit later.

We could not find any fridge, therefore we ended up drinking warm beer. It would be great if there is a small pantry with water dispenser and refrigerator.

We stayed in Family room for 1 night. Great exquisite and ambience. Spacious room (with loft), comfortable mattresses, pillow and linen. Shower with great pressure and adequate good toiletries. There are small yards both for downstair and at the loft.

Stairs to the loft quite steep and might be challenging those with toddler. It would be better if mini fridge and breakfast also provided. Overall, this is far better than 3 star hotels and the best short stay place in Kuantan thus far.

Stayed in Laman Sentosa Boutique Hotel for a night during my visit to Kuantan last week. Clean and spacious room, big and comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, cool private garden, and we love some of the light fittings & furniture in the room. A few suggestions for the hotel: maybe it will be better to have another mirror outside of bathroom for convenient purpose. Secondly, we noticed there isn't any food stall (within walking distance) from the hotel, so it will be perfect if simple breakfast is provided to hotel guests. Overall was a pleasant stay at the hotel. Highly recommend to those visiting and looking for chic & pleasant accommodation option in Kuantan. A hidden gem within the housing area!

The good points: clean room, 5-star hotel bed sheets, Trussardi travel size soap and lotion (perhaps owner got them as free gifts when buying perfumes? But thanks nonetheless), complimentary Spritzer mineral water & NIPS chocolate

The disappointment: Arrived on a Friday afternoon at 12 noon, thinking that perhaps can check in early or at least by 1pm as per normal hotel check in time but no one was there. The guy who handles check in told a friend who managed to cajoled him to let my friend checked in earlier (with caution by the guy that he would get in trouble with his boss for allowing a guest to check in earlier than the 2pm check in time). We waited outside the bungalow (it is a bungalow by the roadside turned into a hotel) and a little after 2pm, someone turned up to let us in. I thought since the hotel is very strict about check in time, we would be allowed in by 2pm sharp.
Anyhoo, check out time is 11am
No fridge at all, not even a common one. I guess it would be hard to keep track what guests keep in the fridge ie non-halal stuff co-mingling with halal stuff which would be an issue for a Muslim.
The bathroom gave out a slight pong - like clogged pipes or clogged toilet. Mentioned it to the owner, his advice was to keep the door of the toilet opened to the outside (it has two doors; one to be opened from inside the room like a normal hotel room, and another sliding doors that opened to outside). I told him 1. I don't to allow mosquitoes to enter my room through the open doors 2. We were in a residential area with constructions going on on both sides of the bungalow. The new constructions were two-storey high which meant there was a possibility that the workers (maybe they won't but I won't take the risk) can see from the second floor that the sliding doors on my ground floor room are opened and may decide to see what's inside. So, thanks but no thanks. So the linger of the pong stays. It was a good looking bathroom, no doubt.

Anyhoo, the pool due to to its location which is right next to the main road (there is a wall but it does not cover the whole pool) is suitable for kids only in my opinion.

The private garden mentioned may meet other's expectation. Mine was a small area the size of a long yoga mat, covered with fake grass. It does have a beautiful fragipani tree which when lighted at night looks nice.

Anyway, to each their own. Me? I won't be going for a second.
