Ghost in ground floor room- a few of guest was disturbed, service in the front counter are terrible, meeting room was not open at time as instructed, microphone was not working properly, no garbage collected and no regular room service. Stay 3 days but my rubbish was not taken, no pest control bacause lots of ants....But food are extremely delicious, very nice ambient of the cafe...fall in love with the food! Please the hotel should do ghost control, improve overall services and pest control.

This hotel is very basic living up to its budget status. We had to stay here for the Eid celebration because my grandmother's place was full with relatives. The room was basic and pretty clean. The reception staff during staff during check in was courteous. Do not expect any facilities here.
Negative points : we had a problem with out door lock when we returned during midnite and when we approached the reception staff, he appeared pissed off that we had locked ourselves (by mistake of course), and the worst was the pre fast meal (sahur) consists of chunks of unappetizing beef liver, and shredded fish (all totally unedible by any standards). I feel even for a budget hotel, the kitchen could have prepared more decent dishes, of course we are expecting a 5 star buffet spread!

I stayed at a family room for one night on 9/12/11 and it was a really horrible experience. The room rate was overpriced! The room was smelly, the aircond was loud with no remote control available in the room, hence I need to stand on a chair to adjust the temp manually as the temp controller was mounted pretty high on the wall. The toilet was dirty and the breakfast menu was lousy. The milk dispenser for the cereals provided was broken and even after i lodged a complaint to the staff, the problem was never fixed! I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a cheap bed.

It is truly disappointing and embarrassing for a hotel that bears the name of such a beautiful country to offer such terrible services, facilities and experience to the tourists that came to stay there.
I came with my family for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday only to be welcomed by receptionists that seemed reluctant to smile, a room that smells and interiorly outdated and uninteresting and lastly a swimming pool that could only be best described as a fish pond.
The internet WIFI seemed to be non-existent despite receiving a WIFI password from the hotel which is absolutely unacceptable.
I am truly disappointed.

Over Hari Raya (august 2013) i stayed at Seri Malaysia Kuantan.
The smelly room was old and stale. The furniture must have been bought in the seventies. The hard mattress, the thin wooly blankets and 2 thin pillows were well below standard. The old tube TV had little channels, and display quality was poor.
Breakfast the next was well below any standard.
Example - toaster with bread, one big bowl of butter, one big bowl of jam. Choice 1 or 2?
The only positive was the sweet smiles of the two girls at the reception desk.

Stinky pillows, weird stains on bed and carpet, 10 year old towels, horrible toilet, musty smell. Apart from being centrally located, this hotel is in dire need of renovation and upgrading. Conditions are bad and room that we stayed in also poorly kept. Bed is small, pillow is super thin, shower room was dirty and the very dated water heater wasn't working well. WIFI is not accessible...

All ok. The hotel is near to Tanjung Lumpur which is many seafood restaurants located. But the very disappointed is the wifi cant be connected even they give us the password plus they give us a very far room at the corner. The pillow very thin until I need tu bend it but still feel nothing.
