Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I liked it a lot because it is inside the airport. Also the architectural design is very modern, with big lockers, smart toilets, comfortable showers and even music inside the capsules (dorm). The staff is nice and helpful.

The hotel is inside Narita Airport Terminal 2, B1. It is accessible, safe, and affordable. You can take the free shuttle bus if you are at the other terminals. Check-in at 2 pm and check out at 10 am. You can leave your things in your locker if you stay on multiple dates. You are not allowed to eat in the hotel, but you can buy food at the airport. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and Seven Eleven is open 24 hours. It has complete amenities: locker, sleepwear, towels, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, toilet/tissue papers. I stayed for two nights, and it was a great deal. Enjoy your stay!

This is a capsule hotel. There are separate hotel areas for men and women. Women turn right at reception, men left. Then you enter a locker room where you change into a supplied robe and slippers and leave all your belongings. There is a toilet area and a shower area. Then you enter the pod area which is two rows of pods stacked one above the other. You find your pod and climb in and shut the blind. There is one mains power point (no USB) and a light. Great for an overnight stay. Everything was very clean and tidy although the mattress and pillow was a bit hard and thin.
Note this place is hard to find in the airport and you will probably have to ask for directions.

I availed the 9hours at Narita for freshening up after 8 hour flight. I arrived around 7am, wasn't sure if they were open. But luckily they were, and check in was easy. I took the 2 hour shower and stay option, the shower and sinks were clean. They provided the towels and slippers, but bring your own toiletries. There is a locker to keep your stuff, it can probably hold one medium sized luggage (I had put my luggage in airport locker before coming here just to be safe). After shower, I grabbed half an hour shut eye in the sleeping pod. The mattress, pillow and blanket were reasonable. There is a light switch inside, but I couldnt find any charging outlets. The pod has a screen that you can pull down for privacy.
When you check out make sure you return the slippers, dont leave them in the locker .
Overall value option for transit and reasonable rates .

I had a 10 hour layover after an 8 hour overnight flight in economy and before a 12 hour flight, so wanted to rest rather than sightsee. This capsule hotel seemed like an intriguing, authentically Japanese, affordable option, and it was, at about $30 for 8 hours. You are not obligated to leave when prepaid time is up - you can pay for extra time at checkout, but you will not be refunded if you leave early. You can pay for just one hour if you only want to shower and freshen up. It's important to know that it is NOT in Terminal 2 at Narita airport, only adjacent. So you have to go through immigration and customs which can take 30+ minutes, and go past the train station in the underground passage. They are strict about the 9am opening time, so I had to wait about 45 minutes, and they do not sell bottled water, so I went back and purchased a couple of bottles. You cannot bring in food but drinks are ok (you will have had to dispose of any fresh food in order to pass customs.) Be sure to go and wait in reception for the 9am opening, because the line builds up very quickly and there were only two clerks for checking in. The facility is spartan, very much like a hostel, clean, and practical. Enjoyed my showers at beginning and end of stay. I liked having a clean, comfortable "duster" type robe to wear and slippers so I could get out of my sweaty travel clothes. My pod was comfortable with a quilt, firm pillow and firm mattress, outlet and USB charging port. There is free wifi. I suggest wearing an eyeshade and earplugs since draw down shade doesn't completely block light, and although sleeping area is very quiet, there can be rustling as they make up beds. I had very restful sleep and left 9 Hours refreshed. However, if I had known I had to exit airport and enter Japan, I might have chosen a nearby "real" hotel for not much more money.

I can only speak on the shower, not the capsule hotel. The place gives you everything you need to shower and freshen up either before or after a long flight. If you have an hour to spare while waiting for your flight, I recommend going here.

Good facility and clean room. Amenities are extra so make sure to prepare some in the nearest convenience store (there is one in front of B1 entrance). Locker provided have strict airline luggage diameter so make sure your luggage isn’t too big

I went there to rent a room for the night but the people there didn't let me rent it, they told me the room was full but they still rented it to other people, I asked about when people returning it and I would arrive at that time but they said guests will not return the room and there will always be no room. I don’t know why they did like that with me. this is the first time I came to Japan and they left me with a truly memorable experience of what they did. Some people are national. Other foreigners going there should consider it, don't be like me.

Great stay here since our flight left late at night and we needed to check out our Airbnb. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper as there is some noise with people coming and going.
