Huge hotel, modern, clean and efficient. Comfortable in all aspects and friendly staff. Really appreciated having the on site convenience store and shuttle service to/from the airport. The Hotel is a little out of the way from Narita amenities. Overall the room was more than sufficient and I would definitely stay here again considering the price paid.

Thank you.

The reception is the same level as a luxury hotel.
It is the hotel which uses Cabin Crew of Japanese Full Service Carrier.
And the hotel charges are the same level as a budget hotel, but are very wide if alone.
It cannot deny the aged deterioration, but in the first place it is a mistake to compare with the new hotel.
The maintenance of facilities needs a considerable company effort.
The correspondence of the staff is very splendid as much as there is a difficult aspect.
Because I took a shower after getting up if before going to bed, after arrival, I provided it in several minutes when another one asked for a bath towel toward the guest room service person in charge.
I see it close from terminal 3, but even a free shuttle bus is necessary for around ten minutes because the airport site is unexpectedly large.
The hotel is located in the hill, and there is no shop in the neighborhood.
It is all right, but is the hotel which there is in grove of miscellaneous trees in the daytime not a place going out at night.
Because the convenience store which is open until restaurant and about 23:00 includes the meals, I think that going out waits by night and should finish it in them.
After because went to the airport by free shuttle bus when wanted to go out by all means, or the free of charge shuttle bus to the shopping malls of the neighborhood appeared, having confirmed the time; of using it will be good.
Toward the smoker.
Because I can smoke, and the guest room is located on the lower floors, I recommend non-smoking room & prior thing requesting if I expect the views such as runways.
But I did it in smokers in the smoking room and am very selfish say, but, so to speak, dislike smells of the cigarettes of others by frank advice forcibly.
The covering with paper cigarette made in Country J in particular is not fragrant, and it infiltrates aging odors-like bad smell into the room unlike (洋煙) such as cigars.
Thus, I recommend a smoking cessation room to the smoker worried about a smell except oneself in one daringly.
Because deodorant spray was had always ready in the room, I sprayed it and continued breathing an electronic cigarette (there is no tar) of the bringing to do of the fragrance of the lavender.
So it was somewhat all right.
Probably I realized it again when the factor of the unpleasant smell was tar.
It was a telephone to have felt that the cleaning of the smoking room was great.
Nicotine was left to a receiver and the receiver contact part.
I think the manner of the smoker to reflect when I think a guest room of that quantity to be ... before the next hotel guest comes.
Toward the hotel.
I will hope for the air cleaner setting to the smoking room for profit even little by little in future if possible.
A person doing a dirt of the glass in mind seems to come, but this is a mistake, too.
If it is a resort and a luxury hotel of Tokyo, the suitable frank advice is natural, but thinks that you should regard it as Rest when you consider a location.
The service is charged.
You prepare for a suitable rate if you demand all and should stay at the super luxury hotel of the inner city.
I make much of correspondence and a cleaning degree of the staff of the minimum guest room than a dirt of the appearance personally.

An overnight stay complimentary of Japan airlines. Very close to Narita airport, I could watch flights taking off & landing.
There’s a free shuttle from Narita airport to the hotel and back. I believe this used to be an old Hilton before and they have
kept the original decor from 10 years ago!

There are 2 areas that the hotel needs to improve on, first is the rooms there looking tired & the second is and the restaurant.
There are two restaurants on the top floor, one buffet for US$50 and the other is a Chinese banquet for similar price.

I think it’s best to get some food from the convenience store on the ground floor and just have a snack.
The alternative is you could get back on the free shuttle bus and have dinner at the airport.

Overall not a bad for a quick overnight stay

We checked in for one night at this enormous hotel. Only two or three of the vast number of rooms were taken. The price was exorbitant. Checkout time was 11 and we asked to stay till 12 noon, but the desk clerk said we would have to pay extra, although they were desperate for custom. The room was poky, the halls drab and colorless with no decor at all. We ate dinner (edible) and asked for dessert - "no dessert" was the reply. Breakfast was $42 for two. The bar was also drab and had no white wine. On no account book this hotel.

Needed a hotel to bunk for the night on a short 48 hour business trip to Narita.
Booked the hotel for a great £43, for one night.

On arrival at T2, you look for the Marroad International Hotel Narita transfer bus (its a free bus ride), which goes from stop 27 outside on the arrivals level.

It takes about 10 minutes to get to the hotel.

Check in was fast, and efficient and the staff spoke english.
WiFi, officially there is none, however i connected to a Wi2 hotspot who have a deal with Visa for 24 hours free access... this only worked in the lobby, enough to check emails, iMessage and FaceTime if anyone is interested.

Hotel room was very clean and tidy, with all the normal amenities.
I was on floor 12 with a great view of the runway, and didnt notice any noise to be honest.

Bed was comfortable, and the room was very nice.
There was a razor and shaving gel provided as well, and it was a great shave!

Top notch for this hotel, enjoyed my stay very much!

Nice retro hotel with lots of rooms close to Narita International Airport. Free shuttle to and from the airport at extremely convenient times, especially compared to other hotels in the area!!! There is a shuttle to and from the airport about every hour.

After flying into Japan several times, we've learned it's often nicer to stay in Narita for the night, rather than try and navigate the evening rush hour trains getting to Tokyo and getting a hotel after a 11 hour flight.

We have stayed in the Marroad twice now after coming into Japan around 4pm. It is wonderful hopping on the shuttle after a long flight and drive about 20 minutes to the comfortable, roomy (especially for Japan!) hotel for some much needed rest. After that, Narita is a really nice little city with lots of shopping. It's fun to just walk around and see things and try all the tasty food!

Getting back to the airport in the morning is free and easy, and it is more convenient (but more expensive!) to take the Narita fast train to Tokyo, about 1 hour, rather than the commuter train that stops a lot and takes about 2.5 hours.

Please use this hotel only as the last resort. It is always packed with China tourists who do not show any consideration for the other guests by yelling across the hallways, allowing their kids to run up and down the halls numerous times.

The room slippers look like it has been used by a million people, chairs have stains on them, carpet needs shampooing really badly.

Their only saving grace is the staff. Who are friendly and helpful most of the time. If you are hungry in the middle of the night there isn't room service and the convenience store on the first level closes at midnight.

The gym only has two useable treadmills, two bike stations, and minimal weights.

Hotel is old and lacking in term of cleanliness. Internet access is hopeless as wifi is terribly slow and even paid LAN internet in rooms do not work. Front desk staff are unfriendly and not helpful. Even shuttle bus driver is rude. How sad as most Japanese people are generally friendly and courteous.

The Hotel is ideal located and that is the only good point to be honest,
The isolation of the hotel is very bad, as you are on the Narita airport every 3 minutes a plane is leaving, the nice thing is in the 3 minutes of silence at least 3 trains passing. Honestly between 11 pm and 5 am it is quiet. The rooms are very small, the restaurant is absolutely not ok the buffet was cold. The only good place is the bar on the topfloor, okay you will be the only guest but the beer is ok, Checking in took me 40 minutes %$$^^@##.
There are plenty goo hotels in the area So dont choose this one

Yes, they have a shuttle bus you have to wait a while and should definitely be on time! The drivers are in a hurry to get in and out of the Narita airport- might take a taxi for better service.

Hi. What is the most convenient way to get to the hotel via public transport? Thanks Edwina
Answer from BlueDragon_99
Zurich, Switzerland173 contributions25 helpful votes
Hi, Edwina, to get to the Marroad International Hotel you have to travel to the airport first, I am afraid. If you have a JapanRailPass then the easiest is to go to Narita Airport Terminal 2 (Bus stop Nr. 27) or 1 (Bus Stop Nr. 16) and take a hotel free shuttle. If you have to buy a ticket for NEX (Narita Express by JR East Line) a ticket costs JPY3,020-(one way) from Tokyo Station. If you are leaving from Tokyo Station to Narita you can also take any of the shuttle bus services offered - the cheapest is JPY1,000- (one way - need a on-line reservation) offered by Keiseibus Co and you can check more details on their website (in English as well). There is a hotel bus service from JR Narita Station (East Exit) but then you have to travel by ordinary JR train; alternatively you can take Keisei-line to Narita Station (not to the airport) but this will require ca 5 min walk to JR Narita Station so if you have lots of luggage I would not recommend. Also bus service from JR Narita Station to the hotel is limited (10:45, 11:35, 12:35, 15:40, 17:40 & 19:45). Hope the above answers to your question - if you have more question please feel free to ask me again.
