Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the Hann Homestead for a long weekend while in the area for business. This is in an absolutely beautiful location and the hospitality of the innkeeper and the friendliness of the other guests (one couple each night I stayed-it was not full) made me feel like I was at home. I stayed in the Lever suite, which had its own bathroom. Details like automatic lights in the hallways, local artifacts as decor and local-interest books around the home were nice touches. Thanks for a great stay!

The Hann Homestead Inn was the perfect backdrop for an intimate party with family and friends to celebrate my son’s graduation this weekend. While the property is beautiful during the day, it is simply breathtaking at night with all of the beautiful twinkle lights in the trees and on the porches. I love to travel and prefer to stay at Bed and Breakfasts for the charm and little touches you can’t always find in hotels. I have stayed at many throughout the US and in France, yet The Hann Homestead Inn is one of the most charming inside that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It is beautifully decorated, immaculate throughout, and the beds are very comfortable. What I loved most though, is the very careful attention Barbara has paid to sharing the history of this lovely inn and the families who called it home since it was built in 1840. While I didn’t have a lot of downtime to relax, when I did, I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the inn and looking at the photographs throughout and reading about them. In addition to the photos, finding the little chimney closet that was part of the Underground Railroad made me truly appreciate the history of this beautiful inn. Barbara was attentive and incredibly helpful. She checked in throughout our stay to ensure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space, Barb. I look forward to visiting again.

Located in the middle of nature this wonderful house! After a long time I saw hares, fireflies and lots of butterflies.
We were provided with all the information for self check in so we reached our room in peace.
Our room was super spacious and there was really anything we could need. Pretty also the common areas and definitely the kitchen where you can take coffee or tea independently is a plus.
Good breakfast freshly prepared.
We felt like we were guests of friends.

Charming setting at a historical site. Friendly owners and a delicious breakfast after a quiet night of rest. Very clean and the Inn has time period furnishings. The large front porch has rocking chairs that invite you to sit and enjoy the views.

The Hann house is absolutely stunning inside and out! This is our second time staying here in the fall! The home is immaculate and is loaded with all the special touches of home. You want for nothing! There are even cookies waiting for you! The chefs that cook for you are by far my favorite part of the stay (and everything else is already perfect). The two ladies (Kelly and Jackie )are fun, loving, kind, friendly and so accommodating! The breakfast they cook is delicious and beautiful. I look forward to seeing them as much as staying in this beautiful home with so much fascinating history! Can’t wait for our next adventure here at the Hann house while ATV riding at Tall Pines right off the beaten path! Come visit them. They never disappoint!!! See you soon!

Home away from home. Stayed here while visiting my hometown and family in the area. Very clean and cozy rooms. The breakfasts are delicious and filling. Owner and caretakers are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Have stayed here many times and can't wait to return. Thank you for opening your historical and ancestral home as a BB.

I stayed here with my wife and a few friends to attend an event in town and we had an excellent stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make us comfortable. If I returned to this area I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was very clearly the best place to stay in the area.

After finding that my hotel in HornelI was sold out, I was scrambling to find accommodations. What a great find the Hann Homestead Bed and Breakfast was! Very cozy, staff made sure I had all I needed, and had an excellent breakfast prepared just for me! Highly recommended. I stayed in the room on the first floor. Large king size bed, private bathroom, television, closets.. Everything I needed!! Just wish it was summer so that I could have sat on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful view!
