Prime Beach Hotel, previously known as Hotel Ideal Prime Beach, offers a vibrant atmosphere with lively entertainment, though it can be noisy for those seeking tranquility. Its prime location is a hit for easy beach and shop access, but guests have noted the beach can be pebbly. While the amenities are generally appreciated, including the beach proximity, some guests feel the hotel falls short in value due to overcrowded pools and variable food quality. Rooms are considered small with inconsistent Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and noise levels can be disruptive. However, the staff receives praise for their service, and cleanliness is typically well-regarded, with daily room maintenance.

My friend had been to this hotel 4/5 times and highly recommended it, I was somewhat unsure after reading a lot of negative reviews online. I was expecting to arrive at a hotel with a poor choice of food, unfriendly staff and not a chance of getting a sunbed, yet all I could think when I arrived was confusion about the reviews I had read as it was not matching up to the experience I was having. Every day we went down to the pool at around 8:30am to get a bed, we chose to spend our time around the kid's pool as there was a great atmosphere here. Never once did we fail to get a sunbed. Yes, the queues for food are long, but I was never in any queue for any more than 5 minutes, they were very fast-moving and the staff serving the food were very polite and friendly. As a fussy eater, I found the selection of food to be perfect and there was always something I was happy to eat. The staff did not stop, always working and keeping it clean whilst maintaining a very friendly and approachable manner at all times. I constantly saw staff cleaning throughout the day and I was extremely impressed with all the covid measures in place, they did have signage to try and enforce keeping a social distance however no one paid any attention to this and got uncomfortably close to us on many occasions. I understand going on holiday during a pandemic you should expect to come into contact with people, however these people were absolute covidiots, everyone was guilty of this however not so much the English guests. My only negative would be that they maybe could have done more to try and enforce people keeping a distance in the queues. There are some rude guests, however, I soon discovered these types of people were everywhere and not just in the hotel, they also did not hinder our experience as we did our best to avoid them. We booked a sea view room through our travel company and it was beautiful, it overlooked the hotel grounds and the beach. The location is perfect, a minute walk away from water sports (would highly recommend YOLO for anyone looking to do any sea activities) and across the road from the Golden River Steak House which we went to every night. The bus ride to Marmaris was about 15-20 minutes and drops you right back at your hotel. You could go all-inclusive at this hotel for a week and not spend a penny more if you really wanted to, it really does have everything. Overall a really great holiday and I will definitely be returning next year.

I have read quite alot of reviews on here and on fb about this hotel and believe alot of them are just bizarre and a big overreaction. I have been to Marmaris 5 times each time staying in a different hotel around 4/5 stars and I would definitely say this is one of the best I have stayed at for various reasons. So I would say the food is brilliant, you are never going to be able to please everyone but I thought there was always plenty of choice and the food was always delicious and warm, honestly could not complain. Drinks also absolutely fine, I don't understand people's complaints there either. Sometimes you did have to que at the restaurant but it's just the way it is due to covid restrictions, the staff have done an amazing job with restrictions in place and I think people need to recognise that. All covid restrictions in place are brilliant, screens up where necessary, staff all wearing masks, tempreture taken on both entrances. Hotel being cleaned continuously and social distancing measures in place. Hotel Spa was absolutely perfect, would 100% recommend a Turkish bath and massage and also buy the bronzing oil! Yes people were reserving sunbeds but to be honest don't people always?! This isn't new and you can always manage to find a sunbed we never struggled. Only negatives I would say is that the rooms could do with updating as compared to other 4/5 star hotels it wasnt anything great but not bad either. Shower was slightly small along with balcony but that didn't really bother me but just think that is where they could improve. Also the air con in the room wasn't the best, It wasn't the strongest and didn't cool down the room the best. Also the shower room you can use on leaving the hotel didn't have a schedule or anything so people were just queuing outside and waiting and it just made you feel uncomfortable and rushed, a schedule for this would be much better. Overall though brilliant hotel with lovely grounds and features. Staff also brilliant, all very kind and couldn't do enough for you. I would 100% return and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel , in a lovely location , staff were amazing, waiter service you couldn't fault. Lovely location on beach front, shingle beach but annoying when people would come and give ur children things on the beach and then demand payment such as fruit punnets and anklets. Temperature checked everytime you go into the hotel.

The food was a huge issue, I travelled with a 4 year old, 12 year old and 14 year old, most mornings and evening we had to eat out as there was no choice for the kids as kids buffet was removed due to covid, covid or not they should still cater for children. The breakfast consisted of cereal, beans and soggy scrambled egg that ran off your plate. You have to queue at least 20 minutes for toast and then if you wanted beans they would be cold by the time you sat down. The guy doing the toast would only but two in at a time causing a massive queue. We dreaded the evening meal it was all foreign food ... and fresh fish which kids wouldn't eat. Thank god there was really good cheap restaurants on the same road as the hotel. No name bar was amazing .

The Russians were really rude, they didn't believe in queuing and pushed in front of u... one grabbed my four year-old and pushed her away... and another grabbed my husbands arm in the indoor pool and tried scratching off his tattooes and growling at him. How my husband kept his cool ill never know. They were ignorant , really spoilt the vibe of the hotel. They would not socially distance and kept doing conger around the bar in the evening and just generally being loud. Even the Russian children were rude to my kids. Some of the Russian women would hiss at my 14 year old daughter so she was petrified of them.
The bar staff were however great ,very friendly and presented the cocktails amazingly. They deserve all the credit they can. However we found the reception staff quite rude and some couldn't speak English well , either that or they couldn't understand our accent.
Our room was extremely modern and clean the maid worked hard every day.. they would always leave us
three juices and three bottles of water in our fridge and topped up with fresh loo roles and towels.

As soon as we arrived the problems started. Hays travel had only booked standard rooms for 5 of us, we spoke to reception about upgrading our room, explained we didn’t mind paying more and that it wasn’t what we booked and they were very rude and unhelpful it took us nearly 3 hours arguing with the jet2 rep and reception to get it sorted so most of our first day was spent sorting rooms.
The queues at meal times were dreadful there wasn’t enough of the dining rooms open to cope with all of the guests. We spent 10 minutes queuing for soup, which had no bread so we spent another 10 minutes queuing for bread and sometimes there was no butter with the bread so you had to queue again for butter so by the time you got to the table the food was cold. The service was very hit and miss some days the waiters were great other days they were rude and unhelpful. There was very little social distancing in dining areas.
However, due to social distancing a limited amount of sun beds were put round the pools but it was never enough as the hotel kept booking more and more people into the hotel and this caused over loading of facilities. I was getting up at 6am most mornings to get sun beds as I had an elderly person with us who struggled with mobility and needed to be relatively close to the pool.
The day we decided to try the beach there was food and rubbish floating in the sea and all along the sand.
The rooms were basic but comfortable but again the level of cleanliness depended on the person cleaning your room. We ran out of toilet roll twice and ended up hiding it in the wardrobe so they would leave more toilet roll. The shampoo dispenser was empty when we arrived and the mini fridge wasn’t filled regularly. pillow cases were left dirty for a few days we had to leave it in the middle of the bed so it got changed.
We got stuck in the lift, it broke down on us. There was no air conditioning on in reception or the dining room and in 40 degree heat the only place cool was our room.
There was constant Ibiza nightclub style music blaring out from 10am till midnight you couldn’t talk to each other or snooze on a sun bed because of it. It also kept us awake at night as our room was close to the pool bar area.
I was incredibly disappointed in this hotel it was so beautiful and so was Marmaris however I wouldn’t call it 5 star service the happiness and consideration of the guests was not a priority so needless to say we won’t be returning.

We stayed here for 12 nights from 30 September as recommended by friends and seemed to have good reviews but we had problems with this hotel.

Good points.
Ideal location right on the beach front, staff were mostly friendly and polite, hotel was immaculate and ways kept on top of, the spa was great on site and the drinks were fine for an all inclusive.

Bad points.
This hotel was full of Russians and as so seemed to cater more for there needs when it came to the food, as difficult as it was with social distancing the ques at breakfast, lunch and evening meals were bad especially when the Russians just pushed there way in front of you as you were waiting for your food as you had to be served by the hotel staff on a one on one basis for social distancing, also they had 1 toaster on at breakfast for the whole hotel so the ques were ridiculous for this aswell as the coffee/tea machine, the food as I've said catered more for it's Russian guests, there was hardly anything for our children to eat so we ended up eating out most days/nights because of this which cost a small fortune.
There was no entertainment/kids entertainment on at all which was not mentioned due to covid apparently even though every other neighbouring hotel had something on every night for there guests also the ala cart was not on either which we did not get told about until we arrived.
We had to move rooms after a couple of nights as the room they put us in on the main building was right next to the only lift in the block and the noise was horrendous every morning/night the noise from the lift was there and would never stop due to being the only one in the building so once we spoke to the management and asked to be moved rooms they told us there were no rooms available unless we wanted to upgrade at a cost of £230 for the remaining time on our holiday which I ended up paying as we couldn't put up with the noise any longer.
The guest relations woman Tania didn't help at all either when we tried to complain about the room she just said the same no other rooms available unless you pay the upgrade she didn't even try and help or check to see if 1 would come free as people were leaving, also when we complained about the food catering more for the Russians she just said "Well what do you expect there is no British coming out due to having to self isolate on return".

I understand it is a difficult time with covid and such so it is understandable for some of the queuing for the food in the hotel and when things relax it will get better, this is just my experience at the time of visiting as it wasn't set out the best with the amount of people here ect.

The facilities at this hotel are very good and the location is excellent, with a lovely beach path to Marmaris on one side and shops and bars on the other.
Rooms are kept very clean, although they are slightly tired now. The sea view from our room was magical . The hotel staff adhere to Covid 19 regulations with consistently and with attention to detail.
They have had to adapt eating arrangements during the pandemic, but still offer a variety of foods in a very hygenic environment.
The a la carte meal, as part of the all inclusive deal, was excellent.

We booked a sea view and it was well worth it, the views were stunning. Layout of the grounds for the hotel was lovely with a pool with slides for children, an adult pool & indoor pool. We found it difficult to get a sunbed, even on the beach, so used the indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, often to ourselves, in the morning and managed to get a sunbed around 3.00pm so all okay for us. It was a big bonus to have a private beach where you could grab a drink from the bar and take with you. We enjoyed the food and especially liked the pasta/salad bar and soups and could always find something we liked in the hot food selection. We're not big cake eaters but it seemed popular and there was also a good choice of fresh fruit. We ate in the a la carte indian and it was excellent but be sure to book quite early into your holiday as it doesn't open every day. We didn't find the queueing a problem in the dining room as staffed served you as quickly as possible (masks enforced when queuing for food, rightly so). There was a tip box in the restaurant and we thought it well worth putting something in as the staff in the restaurant worked very hard and the waiters served you with drinks lunchtime and evening. We got a dolmus into Marmaris which was about 40p + you can also get a Dolmus to Icmeler. The negatives for us were we weren't keen on the loud repetitive music played around the adult pool. It's nice to relax and hear chill out music. The wine wasn't very good quality and I'm not very fussy. Lastly there were some very rude people who didn't seem to be aware we are in a pandemic! It was about 70% Russians in the hotel which is no problem. However, we thought it most rude of them not to wear a face mask in such a small confined space as a lift.

Firstly I would like to say this was a very different stay than normal with Covid-19 having a huge impact on foreign travel. We stayed for two weeks end of September and first week of October. We found that the hotel had many good and bad points.

Good:

Perfect beach front location.
Housekeeping couldn't fault bed and towels changed daily.
Staff were amazing, all work so hard especially with the current situation we are in.
Grounds were all kept very nice, overall a very clean hotel. Sea view room didnt disappoint. Spa on-site is a must and the indoor pool is also a nice touch. Guest relations: Tania was very helpful and knowledgeable of the are of Marmaris which is great.

Bad:

90% of guests we're Russian (not the hotels fault, and not discriminating against it.) However me and my partner felt the catered more towards them than British travellers.
The hotel is massive 650+ rooms so we felt everywhere you go, being restaurant, beach, pool and or bars they were always so busy.
You gave to be up early for sun beds, similar to any resort you stay in however 3 times on the private parts of the beach the jetty, which we managed to get on 3 times had towels on for 5+hrs with no one using them. I think this is unfair on all guests who would like to use them.

Apart from a couple of things this hotel is indeed very nice, and with Covid-19 around we had a great 14 days here. We would return to Marmaris.

We got back home yesterday. We had booked Alcudia but due to Covid had to change holiday to Turkey. We had stayed at this hotel about 9 years ago so we thought we would be OK. I had read some bad reviews and thought it will be fine but reviews were right.

Food was not good at all. We had to eat out everyday but No Name bar across the road did a really good breakfast. Hotel drinks were watered down and trying to get a sunbed was a nightmare. I had to get up at 630/7am just to get a bed.

Towards the end of the week more and more rude children turning up and parents just watching them playing up and being mean in the pool. Obviously parents fault not the hotel.

Lunch was best meal of the day at the snack bar and the cake shop were lovely. But be prepared to have to go out and pay for breakfast and dinner.

Ice cream is served between 4 and 6 which i think is ridiculous. We went all inclusive so that we didn't have to pay for things like that. The drinks were flat and warm.

I appreciate covid but not really any excuse for how bad the food was. We still paid same price as we would have prior to covid so expect same service.

We had a late flight so paid 50 euros to keep the room until 6pm and at 601 reception called to say get out! WiFi was cut off at 12pm even though we had paid extra to keep the room!

Hotel and rooms are dated and had to call reception everyday as cleaners never put coffee, cups and drinks in the room.

All in all will not be coming a third time.

Had to wear masks to queue for food but apart from that you didn't need them.

arrived on day 1 of 9 and the balcony door wouldn't lock! So reported it and the maintenance guy had no clue what to do, stuck a screw in the door and the door broke again the following day. Full of arrogant russains, push their way in all the time, once we were at the kids pool and a lady pushed our child out of the way (hes only 2) just so she could stand and pose for pictures. They supply you with 1 key card so if u want your air conditioning on youve to ask for another card to use to keep room cool or its like a sauna, No chance of a sunbed around the main pool, so we had to go down to the kids pool early for a bed. Food was crap, not much choice for British people, and by the time you got to 1 Station and queued for next one your food was cold. Restaurant staff and bar staff are amazing, very helpful and cheery. The aqua pool bar beside the kids pool was fab, and the staff were fantastic. Commented on my children saying thank you and that it was nice to hear lovely manners. He hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff were fantastic! Theres an area where there's leather sofas you can sit down, on the 2nd night there were 2 russain girls and 2 guys getting intimate on these, and its supposed to be a family hotel (this was happening right outside our balcony.) You have to book al a carte as soon as possible when you arrive, as we went to book it at 10am and couldn't get booked in for our Indian meal (which we were entitled to as it was included in all inclusive for 1 night) my husband complained about the food to management and got told that no one else has complained but thats all we have heard is complaints. The size of the wardrobe is ridiculous as we had a quadruple room and the storage was tiny!! Definantly would not recommend this hotel at all, we ended off eating out most of the time which is ridiculous when you have paid so much for all inclusive. Our first time to turkey and we loved the area just a pity about the hotel.
