"A place to remember" - a simple catch phrase that best describes my short yet very fulfilled stay at Lykia Botanika Beach & Fun Club. While having to pay a very reasonable price for the hotel compared to many other 4/5 star resorts in Turkey I was surprised by the quality I encountered after my arrival. Excellent views, a beautiful botanic garden, comfortable rooms, delicious food and of course a great atmosphere were offered at Lykia botanical making the 12 days at the hotel the best of my year. For me the hotel suits both the youngest children and their parents with lots being offered by the hotel in terms of fun for the kids, but also is great for teenagers and uni students with an active nightlife at the beach present. To conclude, I would like to say a thank you and compliment the profiled animators who shared a wonderful mood throughout the vacation and organised a very cool evening programs throughout. P.S - It has to be said that the presence of Wifi in the rooms (Only available at reception and at the bar at the moment) would allow the hotel to step up even more, but on the other hand you don't come to the seaside and beaches to sit on instagram and Facebook 24/7 do you? So overall, solid 5 stars for me personally)))

Hello Lykia Botanica, we really enjoyed our 13 days of holiday in the club. We got a nice freshly renovated room and all things in the club were in a good condition. The room was a little loud though, you could hear everything from your neighbours. The walk to the beach was wonderful. The slides, spa and Disco were really nice, too. The spa guy NASIM was really kind and helped in all matters, not only Spa. Especially with our wonderful barkeeper MUHAMMET we had a lot of fun, he made the best cocktails! In the restaurant the service was really good, the food was tasty, but sadly often way to cold, except for the soups that were all the time perfectly hot and delicious. The Sous Chef was always really accommodating. ALI IHSAN and his service team have done a really good job and took care that we had wonderful evenings. On the reception the people were really kind, but most of the time nobody spoke English. In the hotel most of the people were speaking turkish and russian, nevertheless we had no problems with communicating in english. All in all, we recommend this hotel, we had a very good time and would always come again!

Staff where very helpful and very friendly, there was issues with other guests where when staff was made aware they sorted it immediately. 9 out of the 10 days stay i had an amazing cleaner who changed towels and bedding and did pretty designs with the towels, on her day off I had a different cleaner and she just folded our damp towels and put them back on our bed. I can be quite a fussy eater when it comes to meat being cooked by someone I don't know yet I managed to find at least one meal everyday for each meal time (If you are super fussy they have plain spaghetti, chips and nuggets for lunch and dinner then at the snack bar they do different pizzas and snitzels which tastes just like turkey dinosaurs) It is a bit out of the way but the resort does have its own private beach which is lovely. There is also a shop about 5 mins walk which is cheaper than the shop in the resort. I found the music very repetitive and some of the guests took water polo way to far and got a little aggressive so I would advice against children taking part. Yes there was some mould in the bathroom but it didn't affect the stay at all. Over all the holiday was really lovely and I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been away quite a few times but this has to be my worst hotel experience.
First & foremost it’s very secluded if you don’t have much spending money you’ll more then likely be stuck in the resort all day. It’s so far away from even the local supermarket. Admittedly there are a few shops on site but they are very basic.
Omg it’s 2022 & the WiFi doesn’t stretch past the reception & pool area. Couldn’t search for anything or contact anyone unless I left my room. I have trips & activities booked before we left London. They tend to contact the day before the activities but I didn’t always get the messages or get to confirm due to poor WiFi.
The rooms are beyond basic, we had a dirty cloth just in the bathroom. The safe kept on breaking down on us, they don’t even leave glasses in the rooms for you! Things like a kettle so you can make your own tea are non existent. Once you take you key out of the switch everything including the fridge switches off. Therefore you can’t even get cold water. The door to the balcony had broken glass & was just nailed in to keep in place. There was no urgency in some of the staff helping you. We had an excursion booked in the morning used the same code we’d been using since the beginning of the trip yet it wouldn’t open. Went to reception to ask for help wasted 20mins waiting in the room. Called back to reception they then said 10mins bare it in mind the safari jeep was already waiting 30 mins past time. We ended up going out that day with no money. Came back later to ask them about the safe again, I was informed 20mins which was unfair as the tour guides were waiting for there money all of a sudden a staff member appeared instantly.
There was an incident with a little boy who went down the slide but ended up injuring himself but there was no staff around to even help or guide the parents after said incident.
The food in general what can I say waste of time. The best food we had was outside of the hotel. It was very bland, you we’re lucky if it was warm. The drink options are basic but I get it, it’s all inclusive.
They’d come into clean the room but not replace the towels they’d take from us just didn’t make sense.
The tv has two English channels & u can’t change the other channels into English.
In my opinion if you have no desire to go far from ur hotel this may work for you. But not if you want to see turkey.
On the plus side there were some very polite & helpful staff

The service staff at this facility are absolutely fantastic! They are friendly, welcoming and always do their job to a high standard. The venue is also impressive, with plenty of greenery and trees to provide a serene and peaceful atmosphere, even when it is bustling with people. The animation team has clearly put in a lot of effort to create enjoyable activities for guests too.
However, there are some downsides. Mosquitoes are a real issue here, and even with protection, you are bound to get bitten. The food variety is vast, but it unfortunately lacks flavor and hygiene, with flies often landing on some dishes. The biggest problem, however, is the wifi. It barely works anywhere except the lobby, which is frustrating. Additionally, room cleaning is subpar and feels rushed, with the staff seeming to work overtime and not putting in the same level of effort as other staff members. Lastly, the bar area can become quite unpleasant in the evenings due to the heavy smell and smoke from hookahs, which is something that needs to be addressed. The strong smell and smoke emanating from the hookah can be quite overwhelming, even if you are seated in an open area. It is not just unpleasant, but also unhealthy for those around, especially if you are exposed to it for prolonged periods. Therefore, it is important for the venue to reconsider serving hookahs in regular seating areas and find alternative solutions for those who wish to indulge in this activity.

Reading some of the negative reviews, we were understandably concerned about visiting. We came as a family of four and can honestly say we had a fantastic time and will miss this hotel. The pools are brilliant, the beach is a lovely walk away and the food was good. Linking back to previous comments from other reviewers of 'flies and wasps everywhere', 'cats and dogs roaming' and it being 'unclean,' I feel this is unfair. Yes, there were some wasps and flies but we certainly weren't swarmed and this is not the hotel's fault- it really wasn't a problem. There are some cats and the odd dog but again, there are loads and they aren't everywhere and don't bother you. The rooms were cleaned daily, it's easy to stock up on water yourself and bring it to the fridge, air con was good and if you left your towels on the floor, they were always changed- we never expected them to be done daily like some people seem to. Kids club was basic but our two children loved it and Freya was incredibly kind and always made them feel welcome- they were never made to go but it was so hot, they asked each day to go to the afternoon session for a break from the sun. Entertainment was good and drinks were varied. Rooms are dated but we weren't in them much. We honestly had a lovely time and were all very sad to leave.
The only suggestions for improvement would be to not buy trips from the beach as we did and found them much cheaper in Calis. Also, more mopping in rooms and the communal stairs etc leading to the rooms.
Please don't listen to negative reviews- it is a great hotel with hard working staff, excellent pools and beach and amazing weather.

We've recently returned back from Turkey, on our arrival the receptionist did not have us on her list to which made me very stressed and anxious, not helped my two extremely hungry children after 7-hour rented car, travelling from Istanbul with an fautly satnav.
This receptionist was convinced we hadn't booked and laughed in my face with her colleague. I was shocked to be greeted by two locals staff laughing at me and basically calling me a liar in front of my two children.
To prove our hotel booking I had to WhatsApp the receptionist with confirmation proof of our booking, devastated that I had to do this ..... I completely forgot to edit our booking via resort hotel by one day from Sunday 5th June to Saturday 4thJune 2022 (I completely wasted my money).
I'm sadden to have to write this as we truly fell in love with the location and hotel but from day one, I felt stressed and certainly not a relaxing experience like we had previously planned. To top this all four of us become very ill with a tummy bug and many mosquitoes bites whilst staying at Lykia Botanika beach resort (lack of hand sanitizers & no covid guildlines posters)
Unfortunately this caused my health to decline with an infection that escalated very quickly also greeted with an extremely high mobile bill from the ongoing data we had to use whilst away. I have tried to contact via our tour company and hotel but yet to have a response.
This hotel needs a good deep clean, especially around the pool and bar area

We booked this place in January 2022 for the period of 3rd of July and 15th of July. To begin with the price differs considerably if you book it earlier. Even there can be 2-3 times difference between 6 months earlier booking and 1 month earlier booking. So it is recommended to do it earlier to save money.
As a family we enjoyed our holiday to the fullest. There is 24 hour serving bar near main swimming pool and at that place you can choose lots of drinks( blue lagoon, pina collada, malibu,sex on the beach and etc.) even though the list is not so comprehensive.
The majority of guests are from Russia. To be honest, thoes Russian people changed my thoughts about them in a positive way. Since the majority of guests are Russians, there are some people in stuff know Russian very well. ( For example, Alena from Ukraine). However there are also some people who know English well, too.By the way as other guys from the stuff she was very kind, energic and helpful.
The food was excellent from taste and cleanliness perspective. Me and my family really enjoyed it. Especially, I would say salad, olive, roasted meat, cigkofte were great.
When it comes to the stuff, I would say they were the main part of our liking the hotel. I really admired the energy, enthusiasm, kindness of Berk, Burak. I am really happy to know them personally. I would say the same thing for the other guys, too. From the higher management Arif and Ali were very kind and helpful people, too. Another important point they acted naturally, not artificially kind.
Another memorable experience was voleyball on the beach. Burak organized this stuff, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. On the other hand, Berk organized shooting game which was my favourite. Every time Berk made it memorable with his comic comments. Also Valeri, and Goktug from the entertainment team were great guys.
Only downside there are lots of mosquitos there, be aware and prepared of them. Additionally, there are not always hot water( especially early morning and late evening) in the shower. But I think it is not the big issue compared to above.
I would write lots of things about this wonderful place and holiday, but I think this is enough.

The location of the hotel we spent on 24-28 August 2024 was perfect for the road to the coast in unparalleled nature, but the sheets we wanted to change as dirty were replaced with more dirty sheets with stained patch. We couldn't handle the dust of Kettle's backup pillows. The underwear of the people who were left before came out. The tables in the common areas usually showed the moss at the runs of the pool. My 10-year-old daughter showed the moss. The food was not excellent but not bad. The employees loved the friendly help. Only the girl named MUTLUNUR was a disrespectful customer style. Someone applied the review style. If animation was too weak clean and hygienic again, we could have chosen this service prices were very high.

The rooms are variable in size depending on what building you are allocated, but our room was enormous & plenty of space for 4. I’d hope they would put the families of 4 in the larger rooms. Yes, there is a kettle & reasonable sized fridge in the rooms. The fridge worked well at keeping drinks cool. I didn’t take any photos of it though.
It is remote, no restaurants close by, just a couple of beach bars and other hotels along the beach. You can catch a bus just outside of the gates, we used it to go to Fethiye market.
There are more places to choose from in the Fethiye area.
