Nestled near the beach and surrounded by local hotspots, Side Su Hotel stands out for its prime location, according to many travelers. While the hotel's vibrant atmosphere with regular music and entertainment is a hit, some guests have called out the small rooms. The amenities, including pristine pools and a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views, consistently earn rave reviews.
Staff members are often praised for their friendly and attentive service, though a few instances of rudeness have been noted. While opinions on value and room quality vary, the hotel's cleanliness is widely commended.

Although we've visited Turkey many times, this was our first everstay in an all-inclusive hotel, and to be honest, after reading some of the reviews here, we were a little concerned about what to expect. Firstly, if you have difficulty walking, this may not be the hotel for you as getting from one end of the hotel to the other requires negotiating several flights of stairs. The hotel consists of a main building and several other accommodation buildings. Initially, we were given a ground floor room in one of the buildings away from the main building. However, as we had requested a sea view and the only view we had was of one of the 3 pools, we asked at reception to be moved to a different room. They were absolutely fine with that, and within about half an hour, we were moved to a lovely room in the main building with a sea view, a good-sized bathroom with a large shower area and a king sized bed albeit with quite a hard mattress. The room was cleaned every day, and if you needed fresh towels, all you had to was put the used ones on the bathroom floor. Also, there was a card you could place on the bed if you wanted fresh bed linen. We thought that the food at this hotel was really good. No, it's not full English or Sunday roast, but rather has more of a Turkish feel to it. A big choice of mezes and salads plus hot food such as fish, chicken, rice, vegetables, cakes and baklava etc and all very plentiful. Breakfast was of the usual continental style with eggs, cheeses, cold meats, salad, bread, cereals, and the like. We certainly never went hungry. The drinks were OK but in our opinion not very alcoholic. The cocktails were very weak, and the beer tasted as if it had probably been watered down. The wine was OK but not the best quality. The hotel has its own beach, which was among the many hotel beaches on the main strip. We went there a couple of times but preferred a small beach we found in the old town (about 30 minutes walk), which was a lot quieter. We had no issues with the staff of the hotel they all seemed to be most pleasant. Not all of them spoke English, but we were able to make ourselves understand. There were mostly Germans staying at the hotel when we were there, but again, we had no problems with them at all. All told we feel that for what we paid for this holiday, we had great value for money and had a really pleasant stay.

Room Tip:Try to get a room in the main building. They seem newer and are well laid out.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Side Su Hotel . We found this hotel to be excellent value for money . It is in a good location in an area i have stayed before . It is on the main strip with many shops , bars, and restaurants , although we did not eat or drink out this time as we were all-inclusive . The food there was lovely with plenty of variety , and there is a fabulous view from the rooftop restaurant . The all inclusive drinks menu is a bit limited , but we found plenty we liked . Spirits were provided from miniture bottles, so they were not watered down . The staff were all helpful and friendly our room was in the annex near the first pool and was a good size , the bed was really comfy and we had a kitchen area with a kettle , fridge and complimentary coffee snd and water . The bathroom was compact, and the shower was a bit tempramental but not a big issue . The hairdryer wasn't very powerful , so you might want to bring your own . There is good access to the beach and promenade. We walked into Old 6 was a nice stroll and we caught the dolmas back , which dropped us right outside . We checked out at 12 with no issues , we were able to keep our pool towels until we left early evening and also use the all-inclusive facilities . If i wanted a cheap break in a good location with nice food, i would definitely return again

I cannot believe the last reviewer stayed in the same hotel as us! We too started our 2 wk holiday with a private transfer arranged by the hotel. The driver messaged us before we left England so we had his number and was waiting exactly where we expected him to be. Our room was brilliant, a good size with a corner balcony and side sew view, exactly as we booked. The air conditioning was very efficient in extremely high temperatures. The room was cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed regularly, indeed in the case of the towels, every day. The hotel does have a number of steps but this is clear before booking if hotel info / photos are considered and reviews read. Yes, English people were in a minority but we had some lovely conversations with fellow guests who were mainly Dutch, German or Polish.
The roof top restaurant has the most amazing views and the drinks service and food were brilliant. There was a massive variety of food but, as Turkey is a Muslim country, bacon wasn’t on the menu! Who needed it with the beautifully prepared and displayed selection on offer! Every lunch and evening there is a fantastic selection of hot food and a massive variety of beautiful salads and vegetables and every evening the menu is supplemented by a roof top BBQ. The swimming pools were the cleanest we’ve ever swum in and there was always sunbeds to be had, both around the pools and on the hotel beach, a five minute stroll away. The staff of this hotel work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for their guests. The cleaning and gardening/ maintenance team were constantly to be seen working hard but always with a friendly smile. The bars were always well staffed and the drinks were definitely NOT, as other reviewers have stated, watered down. The restaurant team were so friendly and efficient with drinks and clearing tables and we are very grateful to all the staff who obviously enjoyed working as part of the Side Su team for making our holiday one of the best we’ve had! The management team were very approachable and were regularly seen around the hotel and, indeed, I had a lovely morning chat with the finance manager Kabir about the downright incorrect information given in other reviews. In my opinion, if you greet people with a friendly smile and hello and you do not have unrealistic ideas of what you should get for the amount of money you pay, you cannot beat the Side Su! In life, you reap what you sow! Read the reviews, google earth the beautiful old town and choose your room style carefully and you’ll not be disappointed! Christine and David

The only advantages of this hotel are its location in terms of the ancient city and trips organized by local travel agencies, a restaurant with a beautiful view of the sea and nice swimming pools. Unfortunately, there are many more disadvantages. First of all, the food is terrible, everything tastes the same and every day the same dishes that look very unappetizing. You go to the terrace with a view through the smelly kitchen. There are two small elevators in the building that are always unavailable. The hotel staff at the reception are very rude, even disrespectful towards guests, and worst of all, they lack basic knowledge of English. One of the animators was pushy and rude and forced you to dance, even though he clearly stated that you don't want to take part in it, i.e. you have to pull your hands, your phone, etc. Paid freshly squeezed juices and some special drinks for 5 euros or more are some joke. The drinks themselves are just alcoholic drinks ok, the rest is one big misunderstanding. The room stinks of sewage from the bathroom, doors with huge gaps and thin walls so you can hear everything. The distance from the beach is about 800 m and there a very nice gentleman shows us a place and a deckchair. The beach bar has a fee, you can bring drinks from the hotel bar. Additionally, there is a paid luggage scale for 1 euro... Generally, the entire staff is focused on taking out the money.

I’ll say right away that the hotel does not correspond to 4 stars, but rather a good three-star rating. We were here in August 2023. The main problem is with the staff - at the reception and the maids. If there had been a more cordial welcome, I would have given it a rating of 4, but otherwise it’s a C. The animators don't do their job at all. There is something to compare with. I also had to ask for toilet paper and water, because... They didn't clean us up. Twice in one day. The first time the request was not heard. The location, the view from the restaurant and the organization of work on the beach deserve praise. I also want to mention the waiters, especially Onay. He is the only one who anticipated my expectations. As a former employee of Marriott and Hilton hotels, I know that it is an important quality to be able to predict the guest’s desires. Beer in the restaurant is diluted, but in the bar closer to the beach it is not, keep in mind. There is no shower gel and shampoo in the shower. There is liquid soap in the dispenser, as well as near the sink. There is not enough light blanket, the air conditioner blows directly on the bed. Water at the hotel in funny plastic cups is a little less than 200 ml. A lot of plastic and uncomfortable. I described those disadvantages that no one seems to have written about before.

Hi all! First, I’ll say it briefly: if you have an active holiday and you’re not picky, Side Su is quite suitable for you. If you want details, I will be glad to tell you about them. As you have already noticed, the special feature of the hotel is its restaurant overlooking the sea and mountains. But alas, this does not cover the shortcomings of the hotel staff. When you approach the reception, you may be lucky and run into a Russian-speaking woman. The rest of the hotel staff barely understand Russian and English, which is why I constantly encountered difficulties in communication. Animators have certain problems in communicating with clients. Unfortunately for them, having visited the MIRAMARE hotel with excellent animation, the difference was simply colossal. It is not clear why they exist there. An animator was supposed to go with us to the karma club, where they sometimes take guests at night for 10 bucks per person. He can shout “meow” and poke the camera in your face. As a result, a DJ went instead of him, who simply stood still, holding a glass in his hands. The guests themselves entertained him. The prices at the club are high, but at the hotel only beer and wine are free, cocktails are out of your pocket. But this is not as critical for all inclusive as the lack of paper and water in the room. On the day of arrival, there were 3 liters of water and 3 rolls of paper in the room for two. Then, despite the tip, the cleaning lady brought 1.5 liters and one roll each. At the end of the week we had to demand a change of towels and paper. Our request was fulfilled the third time. By the pool there is a refrigerator with water in plastic glasses, which we took with us. This led to a mountain of garbage, since the trash bins in the room were very small. There is also ice cream by the pool, juices and smoothies for a fee, which are served in the restaurant. The food is delicious, the buffet is small, sometimes there was not enough variety in the cuisine. The cook is polite and prepares omelettes for breakfast upon request. You can expect the waiters to ask "where are you from?" and inappropriate comments about appearance if you are a girl. They do their job well though. We chose the hotel for its beautiful view from the restaurant, which can be seen from the balcony on the 4th floor. But if the hotel is budget for you, you plan to spend most of your time outside, like us, then Side Su is quite suitable for a vacation) The beauty of the city smoothes out unpleasant impressions.

Staff half smiling especially in the restaurant, perfect room and very good bedding, good location of the beach and very well received, excellent food except the bread which is in cellophane and almost non-existent pastries at breakfast fresh fruit juice at 4€ a little excessive . Reception staff smiling, friendly and helpful. Slightly limited evening, lots of oriental dancing and only twice a week

This is far from my first visit to a hotel. I haven't been here in three years, and I can say for sure that in that time my beloved Side Suh has gotten even better - both in terms of service, quality of food, and the work of the staff. This is very valuable, because it is often the case that after a good start after a while there is stagnation and recession, when everything goes on a roll and there is no drive to develop. Here, just the opposite: the hotel is almost 10 years old - and it not only holds the bar, but also raises it even higher. This is despite the fact that life in Turkey is soaring and some hotels are just starting to skimp, even on small things. I arrived at the very end of the season (I left the day before the closing), and I was prepared for the fact that the tired staff might already be in a vacation mood, that there would be much less food and the number of services would be kept to a minimum. Nothing like that! The hotel operated as if it had at least a month or a month and a half to go. It's clear, delicious, comfortable. I liked the fact that there are now smoking and non-smoking areas in the open part of the restaurant. The only point: for a couple of days in the restaurant, despite the good weather, the waiters began to set only in an enclosed room and asked not to go to the terrace or to occupy strictly defined tables there. One young man tried especially hard - he worked at breakfasts and lunches. I have a favorite table in the hotel outside - I don't want to sit at another table. I sat behind him despite the prohibitions. By the way, many guests, those who did not want to eat indoors and preferred to write during the reception to breathe fresh air and admire the beauty around them, also sat where they liked. Interesting point: usually the owner is always in the hotel. He was gone for a few days - that's when this amateur act started. But as soon as he showed up, all the tables were set again. That's probably the only downside, not even the downside, but just a little line. Everything else is great.

Firstly , we were one of only a few English speaking guests (We're Scottish) but i couldn't care less where other holiday makers come from if i did I'd stay at home . Ok , room 1050 , spacious , clean , pool view , superb shower , comfy bed , great pillows . Location is great , we've stayed in Side many times and like the area the hotel is in so no surprises for us there . Staff i found excellent , cleaning staff , bar people , restaurant people , reception all went out of their way for guests . Pool areas , 3 decent sized pools all kept clean despite many guests leaving things lying around often . We used the bottom pool which was never crowded , no problems with sunbeds etc . Food . We were very happy with the food , breakfast had pretty much anything you'd want , lunch , burgers , chicken , spaghetti (freshly prepared by the very smiley young chef ) and of course loads of fresh fruit . Dinners in the rooftop restaurant (great views) again a great choice , chicken , beef , chips , mash and the best sprouts i've ever had and lots of it and the cakes etc woww pity i only discovered the freshly hand made pizza on our 2nd last night . So to summarise - If you want to be surrounded by Brits I'd say maybe Side isn't for you but you could go to the Red Lion I suppose as it seems popular I believe but for an all inc holiday at a competitive price I would highly recommend The Side Su . We will definitely return . Thanks to all staff for a great 10 days

Holiday to Side Su Hotel, Side Turkey, 11th July 2022 for 7 nights.
If you only require the Sun and a pool for your holiday, then Side is the place for you, if you want, nightlife, small bars to visit, Restaurants, shopping, just avoid Side, as there are none of these things, Side is Tourist Rip of country, everything is priced in Euros.
SIDE SU HOTEL
Plus points: Staff excellent, particularly Pilar, Restaurant, Bar staff in reception bar and Room Cleaner.
Negative Points: No Managers walking about talking to guests. Bars shut at 2300 hours , after this time all drinks to be paid for at 3 euros per drink, 5 euros per cocktail. Beach Towels, initial Towel free to get clean Towel 1 euro each. On leaving the hotel you are required to put towels back in to the place were you picked them up and receive a card to say Towel returned, this card to hand in to reception on leaving the hotel, we had a great deal of trouble getting the cards out of the staff, no card on leaving means paying for Towel on vacating the hotel, this could have caused problems as we left hotel at 0630 hours. Safe in room, 1 euro per day. Has a fruits Bar, in hotel, drinks are to be paid for. Water in room, 1.5 liters per person free, then costs for extra. Restaurant: initially looked brilliant, however should you attend 2nd sitting, restaurant looks like a tribl of vandals had eaten there, you need to ask staff for cutlery clean tables etc, or find the cutlery yourself. Breakfast a disaster, toast machine is broken but still in use, (health and safety hazard) even after being informed it was broken, it was still in use after 7 days. Cooks have difficulty in frying eggs. The hotel has 2 bars, one in reception area, and a bar called the Wall Bar, we attended this bar for a drink one evening at about 2030 hours, and were given 2 beers in plastic glasses, when we asked for glass glasses, we were informed you have to pay extra for glass to drink from, needless to say we walked out , never to return. Water was cut of in the hotel 3 times during our visit. The Beach: The hotel has a bit of beach for there guests, the sun beds are in a grotty state. There is a shack on the beach selling drinks and food (Nothing to do with the hotel) the food there I'dx disgusting 🤢 one bite on a burger and we returned them, we still had to pay for the meals. Don't eat there. The hotel has a shuttle service, pick up at airport was brilliant, pick up to return to airport, did not turn up , we were required to get a Taxi, at a rip off price to get to the airport. We had to pay. This is the first bad review I have ever written and we have travelled all over the World.
