We spent an unforgettable week in The Raga Side. It's modern, clean and peaceful, because they don't accept kids below 16 years old. We liked our 27sqm room with side sea view, it was always kept clean and mini-bar was filled daily. Our favourite thing was the app used for ordering food and drinks to your table - very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak some words and phrases in many languages (for example English, Russian, German, Polish). We especially liked Naim form the beach bar and Hasan from the pool bar, who provided entertaining and personalized service, thank you! The only thing we missed was an iron, which could be available in the room, instead you only have a paid ironing service. The entertaining team did a very good job, alhough we wished they started the events at the same time everyday (for exmaple 9pm), so that guests could get used to it; instead some days they started at 9pm, other days at 9:30pm or even 10pm.
Overall I recommend the experience I hope to go back there soon.

My partner and I have just returned from a fantastic 1 week stay at the Raga Side hotel.
Pros: Very attentive and friendly staff, most of which cannot do enough for you Welcoming arrival and reception staff, we were given 3 drinks before even getting up to our room! The app is brilliant, able to order food and drink from the pool and beach areas and all the bars and restaurants in the hotel. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean and our daily maid service was fantastic, we loved coming back to our room each day to find what the maid had created out of bathroom towels and rose petals! Lots of sunbeds available at the pool and the beach, although the latter half of our holiday the hotel became busier and we did notice a few people putting towels on their beds early morning. Lots of facilities on site including a gym, a shop, hairdressers, a spa and opticians. Evening entertainment was good and varied ie bingo, dance shows and live bands. Brilliant location, 20 minute walk to Side Harbour along a beautiful promenade with lots of shops and restaurants Great WiFi speed throughout the whole complex including the beach The food is great with lots of variation, whilst there we had a Mexican, Asian and fish themed dinners just to name a few Free beach/pool towels included The price we paid was amazing value for money for what we got - we really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Raga Side to anyone. There are activities run throughout the day such as volleyball, bowls, darts, table tennis and water aerobics - but you don’t feel pressured to get involved. The animation staff were super friendly!
Cons: Cocktails could be better, the frozen ones were very inconsistent depending on who made them! There is a nearby tattoo shop and the guy who works there is often around the pool trying to get you to agree to a tattoo, which is quite annoying when you’re just trying to relax. We thought the breakfast could have been more varied, that was definitely our least favourite option of all the meals. The bedroom walls are quite thin, luckily we didn’t have anyone too noisy but we could still hear people laughing/talking.
Hints and tips: The sea view rooms are in a separate building a short walk away from the main hotel and also right next to the evening entertainment so it will be very loud every evening. We much preferred eating lunch down at the beach bar, found there was a better option of food ie homemade pizzas, burgers, fresh pasta and wraps. The dinner service ends at 8.30pm which we thought was a bit early, on our first night we went down at 8pm without realising and didn’t get to eat much (although you can order food from another small restaurant in the hotel all throughout the night).

What a brilliant hotel with some of the most friendliest staff we have ever met. We arrived at approx 22.00hrs on the 30/4/2022 and was quickly booked in and shown to our room (2217) which was over looking the pool and perfect for our needs.
I notice from previous reviews there have been concerns re noise and sound proofing from other rooms I can honestly say we had no such issues.
Meals are ordered through an app on your phone while at first seems a bit strange you soon get used to it this system also works at the beach. Breakfast was a great surprise when I ordered fried eggs and it came with proper back bacon. All the meals were of a high standard, we did have a small issue with al a carte but this was quickly rectified.
The hotel is spotless and you never wait for a drink or service. The hotel owner is constantly walking around asking if everything is ok and a issue is quickly sorted. The location of the hotel is just a 4/5 min walk to the beach and is surrounded by shops where you can buy the usual fake gear at a very reasonable price.
Would we return to this YES WE WOULD and are looking already at booking.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location just outside Side Old Town, the staff on the majority were excellent and certainly help the property over come some of its shortcomings. If you like cats you'll love this place as cats are allowed to freely roam around the restaurants, even at times eating off the tables, cats are not our thing and put us off the restaurants, the food was ok but certainly not fine dining as advertised, the french restaurant was closed and the other specialist restaurants where only open on certain nights with very limited availability. Smoking is widely accepted and even in the specialist restaurants smoking was ok, if you don't smoke then this is not the place to go to, I feel there should be no smoking areas of the restaurants One evening I ordered chicken and was served turkey as there was no chicken left, no one told me, the dish was served without explanation, when I asked why and then asked for a manager it took 20 minutes for someone to come, by that time the restaurant had closed meaning I would have to eat from the snack menu if i wanted anything, very poor service, often the meals did not match the description, no vegetable or potatoes would come with the dishes although the menu would say they had them. Our strangest experience was when we played bingo, 12 euros to play, we won with a full house but so did 2 others, 1 person took all the prizes and we were assured we would get the same the following day, we asked 6 times, yes 6, to the entertainment team and the issue was never resolved, it became a little embarassing to keep asking. The entertainment team kept blaming each other, all my wife requested was a voucher for the spa and none of the other prizes, it never came, we won first prize in a game we paid to enter and got nothing, strange way to operate in a 5* hotel. Ironing, the hotel will not provide an iron for you, the only way to have your clothes ironed is by the hotel at a charge, I have been all over the world and always been able to use an iron, not at The Raga, paid for service only. Overall the cleanliness and the staff were excellent, COVID policies were excellent, Food was hit and miss and the entertainment team were emabrassing in how they handled our situation.

I know COVID-19 has had a massive impact on businesses and persons , however I’m sorry to say this is one holiday to actually say glad to be home .
The hotel is modern I believe 2 years old , on reception they were fast and efficient.
Our room was on the 5th floor see view room approximately 800m away .
Spacious and nice shower , the downside out of approximately 85 TV channels there are only 2 English speaking channels MTV and BBC World news which is on a loop repeated over and over again .
The bed was very hard along with the pillows, it took 3 nights to get and extra summer duvet to lay on to soften it , after 2 weeks we both feel like we’ve bit hit by a train aches and pains , then to top it all many mornings the cleaners would forget to replace the coffee, tea, milk whitener and cups , on one occasion toilet rolls .
Breakfast was very continental we lived on eggs The food was far from fine dining every lunch is the same ,burger x 2 options , meatballs which was mini burger always served with cold fries , pizza x 2 option , pasta , 2 x chicken options and Salmon
Evening was on the BBQ offering Turkish Food every it was either chicken or fish with occasional turkey on skewers , then off the menu a choice of 1 or 2 starters followed by mainly, you’ve guessed chicken and fish with rice and pasta , in a nut shell after a week didn’t look forward to any meals .
To get to the beach is approximately 800m through local shops and apartments, the traders are very friendly and do not hassle you which is a relief, the beach is adult only however either side of you are 2 family beaches so often get screaming children .
On a couple of occasions we also had to fetch someone to remove them from our section as guests from other hotels were using the beds and one of them had children, the lifeguard spends his day up the beach in the shade on his phone or chatting, not monitoring the beach.
On a positive note many of the staff around the bar areas are excellent they work there socks off friendly and hardworking

This hotel is ideally situated in a beautiful location, close to the sea, there are shops near by, bars, scenery is very picturesque, no body bothers you, it feels very safe to walk by yourself, as people are very friendly.🙂 The hotel itself is lovely, rooms very spacious, scrupulously clean, the maids couldn't do enough for you, as was the case with all the staff at the Raga Side Hotel, with the Restaurant staff, nothing was to much trouble for them, Chef's Orhan and Eser made sure the food was of the highest quality and beautifuly presented and the waiters were so friendly and happy it was a pleasure to eat in their restaurant, they didn't rush you to finish which I appreciated.🙂 This is one of the best hotels I have ever visited & I have traveled quite extensively over the years. I will most definitely be going back to this little jewel I have found again. Highly recommend 🙂.

Based on my experience, I can say that I had a wonderful time at the Raga Hotel.
Management and Staff: I had a wonderful experience with all the staff at the Raga Hotel. Yasin, who is the general manager, was extremely helpful, polite, and accessible during our stay at the Raga. He went out of his way to contact kebab, tea, and spice stores for us. Many times as we were sitting and enjoying our food or drinks he came over to ask us how our stay was and if we needed anything. We are extremely appreciative of his help! All of the staff that we encountered were extremely nice, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. A special shoutout to Hasan (bartender) and Zafer (waiter) who were especially nice and helpful. They had great personalities which really made out stay very enjoyable.
Facilities: We found the rooms and common areas to be very clean. Our hotel room was very nice with a pool view. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room while were there. Tables were wiped down and trash taken throughout the day from the tables in the pool / beach area.
Amenities: One of the nicest things about the Raga was their App. This allowed you to order drinks and food from your chair while at the pool, beach, and during meals. They brought them directly to your chairs while at the pool or beach. The hotel is actually separated into two physical locations. The main hotel is literally a 5 minute walk down a nice street that is lined with shops. Then, they have a second, smaller hotel directly on the beach. You have access to this area as well. This area has a bar, tables to sit and eat, and a pool with lounge chairs. This is also where the animation is at night.
Food: I wanted to make a special section for the food. I think many people like the buffet style of eating because you can get a lot of food. The Raga does food a little different. There is no buffet but you can order AS MUCH food as you from the App, but I have to comment that the quality of food was great. I found that the food changed everyday, while keep a few staples consistently. I was really impressed by the quality of the food there. They had a special 24hr bistro that has fresh made food. We had a great time getting some late night meals there with friends that we met.
This is my second time visiting Turkey and I must say that is very positive experience for my wife and I. If you are considering visiting Turkey I strong recommend that you look into staying at the Raga.

From the time we arrived, everyone from the housekeeping staff, waitresses, bar staff, activities team were all so welcoming. We had a lovely housekeeper who looked after us and made sure that our room was spotless everyday, our mini bar was filled and even laid flowers or made our blankets into shapes which gave that extra special touch.
The Bar staff were all very attentive, and always made sure that we were well looked after, a special mention to Hassan who was always there looking after us and worked so hard ensuring that we had everything we needed.
The Dining Room staff were all very attentive too, and always made sure that we had everything we needed. The Kitchen team along with the Executive Chef delivered beautiful five star a la carte meals three times a day with a vast amount of choice for everyone tastes.
The Activities team were fun and always on hand to make us smile and laugh, and we loved the cocktail pool party, a special thank you goes to Deniz who made us laugh and we enjoyed her aqua aerobics class each morning, she named us her lovely ladies.
The lovely staff members on your reception team who were always there on hand with any requests or help that we needed, along with your reservations lady who checked with us if we were having a nice time and if we needed anything.
Can we also say a huge thank you to Shergarth (not sure if that is spelt right) who made sure all the guests were looked after in the dining room and at the arena bar at night and he made our holiday extra special and always ensured that we were well looked after.
Then to top it all off the outstanding Gala evening that was laid on with an amazing menu and the fireworks we could not have hoped for more and can’t wait to come back to your amazing beautiful hotel that you manage, and we thank you each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts for this beautiful holiday.
Please can you pass on our our gratitude to all of your team for us, and we will be back when we can possibly this year but definitely next year.

The reviews were amazing so we treated ourselves to the suite expecting a luxury break in the sun. Our suite had distant views of the sea and overlooked the pool, the side balcony had a view of a new hotel building site. On arrival we received a beach bag x 2, very handy and our luggage delivered to our room. Hotel is plush, rooms have good quality white towels and bed linens which were changed regularly, pool towels are also included and can be changed when needed. There’s a shop, an optician and hairdressers inside the property and also a spa. Pros: The incredibly hard working staff especially the bar and waiting staff are amazing! Sun beds easy to acquire if you get up early. Very good evening entertainment shows. Dressing gowns and slippers (only received 2 pairs for 3 people plus belt missing on 1 dressing gown) but still nice touch. Close to beach and shops. Animal lover so enjoyed the friendly cats and liked that they were well looked after. Cons: fine dining not for us, very repetitive and although when in Turkey not expecting English food was disappointed that food catered the German clientele more. Spa expensive, cheaper to use other establishments down the road. More daytime activities needed, where’s the bingo? Noisy building work in new hotel started 2 days before we left, cranes, crashing materials. Only some visitors got given a tour of the hotel, we didn’t realise where the gym was or that there was a bistro restaurant until our trip was almost over. Very few staff could speak English. App works well but no changes can be made (eg could not remove salad/onion etc).
Would I go back? Probably not.

The Raga hotel was absolutely amazing! Me and my partner went for 10 days over the Easter period and the staff cannot do enough for you! The food was exceptional with plenty of choices and daily specials. The rooms were immaculate and the housekeepers made every room feel special with their daily characters made from towels on the bed. What can I say about the entertainment staff apart from they are the best animation team I've ever met. They made our visit extra special and we have definitely made good friends with them as they are a lovely team to have make your stay the best they could! Nothing but good times, fun times and happy times when we stayed. We are already looking at going back as soon as possible! Definitely recommend

Hi Ann, we are going for the second time this year a great hotel with loads of shops etc nearby, the branded drinks are mainly served in the Lobby bar such as baileys, Cpt Morgans rum, Gilbeys Gin, beer is mainly EFES although if you go to the sports bar there is bottled Miller, Becks and Efes enjoy.
