The main advantage of the hotel is the staff. Attentive staff, good housekeeping, excellent food.
The hotel is within walking distance of the main historical sights and short walk to the beach, location is the great for walkers. The rooms are not modern one, but clean and cozy.
Great choice if you want a relaxing holiday.

The location is good. Fairly close to the beach, the main prom, and a variety of bar's and restaurant's. The grounds of the hotel are vey nice, and given the size of the hotel the pool is reasonable, and the area around it was never overcrowded. The rooms were a decent size, and were clean.

On the negative side very few of the staff understood any English, and they made very little attempt to be friendly. The food was of a decent standard, however the choice was limited, and the same meals appeared on a far too regular basis. There was no entertainment at all in the day or evening, but the biggest drawback was there was nowhere comfortable to sit at night. The main seating area was also the restaurant, so if you had your evening meal early you couldn't sit at a table enjoying a drink, as other guests required the table to eat. Also the area was quite enclosed, and if you are a none smoker it became fairly unpleasant. Consequently a lot of guests tended to go out of the hotel in the evening, even though as an all inclusive drinks were served until 11pm.

Also the choice of drinks was very limited, and although the pool area was generally quiet, for some reason the staff insisted that we moved from the sun loungers by 5.30 each afternoon.

We spent our vacation in this hotel. The hotel is at a great location, its near the beach and old town. Hotel is beautiful-white-blue colored, with a pool. Staff, manager and maids are very polite and kind.
Food is excellent (especially cookies and cakes), I only wish that they could change the breakfast a little bit, because its always the same.
Everything else was very, very goooood. Hope we'll come back again!

Arrived at 3am to be greeted with a light meal and drinks. Cases taken to rooms. Fridge stocked with water ready for our arrival. Recently refurbished room with new air con. All inclusive little queuing for meals and don't have a queue to get drinks. Never had an issue getting sunbeds. Loved the fact you get a beach towel for a week per person. Staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Having 3 fussy eaters there was always something for them. 5 minute walk to the beach where they have there own free sunbeds for the hotel. Turkish night was great my husband enjoyed the chicken donner and barbecue food. My daughter can't wait to go back. All staff incredibly hard working and a real credit to the hotel. Late checkout 12pm was a great help. We will be returning to sunberk as we loved it. Gorgeous flowers in the hotel grounds.

I booked this hotel then read the reviews & thought oh no, on arrival booked in at 0200 was in bed asleep by 0230 bedroom spotless, following day was upgraded to family room again spotless & very well laid out, swimming pool very clean also surrounding areas, food was very tasty but mostly same thing daily but all cooked well plenty of sweets (mmmm) waiters very polite & very helpful, bar still closes at 11pm but was late enough for us...staff speak enough English & new manager is very fluent in English but no language barrier at all.
cleaners do a great job even down to folding clothes which you don't put away.
after 1 week there I couldn't find anything to complain about & I will be going back late sept to the same hotel.
they have built some new chalets to the end of the hotel but they wasn't finished when I left but they are new

The best thing for me was the service given by the staff - they were very kind and helpful, answering any questions I had. Most of the staff speak some English and German so communicating is quite easy. The food is very good value - I was prepared to be hungry as a vegetarian - but there was always something warm I could eat along with a very large choice of salads. Special thanks to Dogan and Kenan who waited on us hand and foot all day - I didn't expect that level of service with 3 stars! Rooms are good and kept clean daily, as are external areas such as the pool area and sunbeds. On our arrival, we were impressed by the towels which had been made into swans on our beds, with flowers scattered around them - very nice touch. On our last evening we came down to a table specially decorated with flowers all over the tablecoth - lovely.

The hotel itself is only located about 2 minutes walk from the beach and yet it is in a peaceful setting away from the noise of the resort nightlife - best of both worlds :) It's a very safe environment to take children, but the area around the pool can get quite slippy so they do need watching here (There is a shallow pool for young children too).

I would definitely recommend this hotel for the level of service provided for such a reasonable price. For the more party minded, the hotel might be a little quiet in the evenings, but the restaurants and bars are very close by.

me and my missus stayed at the sun berk from 5/10/15 to the 15/10/15 the hotel is for german's there was a member of staff that told a couple that was staying there at the same time as us that they don't like the English we ate in the fly infested restaurant for about 2 day's and we all started with diarrhea and bad stomach's then we started to notice that the food was being brought out around 45 to hour before we was allowed in the restaurant and the staff shut the bar and all ate before the guest's the and rail on the right hand of the stair's half way up fell off a few time's the pool and room's was of a good standard for a 3*hotel the beer was watered down and the german's got waiter service from the bar when we asked they said they didn't do it but we seen it with are own eye's on a handful of time there is a brilliant guy in the Turkish Hamam who was very helpful on the day before we was leaving we needed to confirm are taxi to the airport and the reception told us he couldn't help us and we didn't have our phone on holiday with us but the nice guy from the Turkish Hamam helped us
