Detailed Reviews
What a hidden gem - we traveled as a family and wanted a villa but with this booking we got a little bit of everything! Special thanks to the amazing Soupy, who I think was bar and restaurant manager but was just always available when you needed anything. A great guy and an asset to the hotel.
We booked the penthouse apartment (1) where we had three double rooms, the downstairs with en suite and the upstairs with a large adjacent bathroom. There were balconies and terraces galore and the aircon was very efficient. The cooking facilities were good, kettle, Turkish coffee maker, plates, pans, utensils, hob, oven and George Forman grill. There is a dishwasher and washing machine. The only downside was no products to clean with and the apartment isn't cleaned unless you ask and pay an additional charge. (Some dishwasher tabs and a bottle of W/U liquid would do you.)
Another reason for choosing this hotel was the free access to nearby beach club - this was fabulous, always plenty of beds available and amazing views and sea. The food and drinks down at the beach were really good but quite pricey. The walk down is pleasant but the trip up hard work in the extreme heat.
The hotel itself is beautiful - the photographs don't do it justice. Reception staff are helpful, we mostly used them to order taxis into town that were always quick to arrive and reasonable (170 TL - about £5 with a tip). The gardens are immaculate and all communal areas were spotless with views to die for.
We ate on the rooftop terrace one evening, great food, reasonable for what we ate and the added benefit of a violinist playing whilst we ate. The staff I think were quite new and their English wasn't great but Soupy arrived and saved the day!
Food and drinks at the pool were good but a little over priced. The price of the frozen drinks was reduced when we were there - might have been my feedback!
The supermarket was a short walk (up a very steep and slippery hill) but was doable. The stock varied so if you are planning to eat in, buy the meat when you see it!.
We had a fabulous time and would not hesitate to return.
Thank you to all the staff but especially Soupy - give our love to Black Lady (an adorble black lab that adopted us)

We were originally booked into a hotel near the harbour, however they over booked so cancelled our booking 3 weeks before our visit. We were offered Soothe Hotel and I am so glad we were. I have to say the staff at this hotel are amazing, they can't do enough for you. Breakfast was gorgeous, fresh fruit, eggs, fried or boiled, omelettes as well as meats, cheese, salad etc. Pool area was spotless, lovely bar with delicious food for lunch. Soupy, the bar manager was such a lovely guy, so friendly and helpful.
We were given a late checked out for both our rooms (211, 212) which was lovely as it gave us an extra day.
I'm sorry I can't name everyone but you are all a credit to the hotel.
We miss you already and hope to see you all again soon 💕

The Turquoise Coast is exceptional, and this is my favorite place I stayed on the Turquoise Coast. It is a beautiful and simple place to stay. Comfortable, relaxing and the people are very friendly and helpful. It was nice to sit on their bar level balcony looking out over the sea. We played board games there. Getting to the sea is easy and they provide free passes to a nice little beach club. It's actually not a beach, more like a little rock alcove which seems like a private space with clear, emerald water to swim in. It is nicely situated outside the main party area of town. It is easy to get into the center of Kalkan. And Kalkan is a great place to be on the Mediterranean coast. Also, Patara Beach is a short drive from here.

It all started when we thought for a long time about how to get to Kalkan from Dalaman, and the day before we left we decided to book a personal transfer. We wrote to the hotel on WhatsApp, and we were answered very quickly, within an hour, and we agreed immediately. That was already a big plus: we hadn't even left yet, and it was already nice to have things sorted out so quickly. Transfer was excellent, clean minivan, friendly driver, air conditioning, cool water. We got there pretty fast! Pay for the transfer already upon arrival at the hotel, cash.
A nice girl met us at the reception, processed the paperwork quickly, and escorted us to our room. There were not many hotel holidaymakers in the second half of September, and we were upgraded to a room category for free, and given a room with incredible sea views! I was so excited about it because the view was incredible. Thank them again for that.🩵🩵🩵 That's the second fat plus.
Now just about the hotel: the pools have clean seawater. There's a Jacuzzi pool. There were always free sunbeds, and sometimes we were even by the pool alone. Very much liked the hotel grounds, everything is finished in stone, you can see how much labor is put in. Beautiful vegetation all around, tended to. Clean tables on the outdoor terraces, free of dust and debris. Breakfast buffet, everything super fresh, but the choice wasn't big. Apparently because it's out of season.
We had dinner a few times at the hotel restaurant, the cook is delicious, the waiter is super helpful. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable, and you don't have to go anywhere.
The hotel provided tickets to the beach club next door, we were there once - change of scenery, but fun. But somehow the setting there didn't like it very much, there is no music, towels for deck chairs are not provided, no service. But you admire the azure water and the rocks up close!
The room was cleaned every day, carefully enough. Changed bed linen, towels.
General impression of the service: everyone there tries very hard for people. It felt like it. We were lying by the pool one day and they just brought us ice cream. Small stuff, nice stuff! And there were plenty of nice little things like that.
I write such a review from the bottom of my heart, I left with tears in my eyes, and I still remember with great affection. We'll come back one more time.
Of the downsides, probably only that the hotel is located on a mountain (like the whole city), and for the first two days we barely walked on these steep slopes. You must have sports sandals or sneakers with you, there is nothing to do in other shoes.

So we booked this gem of a hotel on our first trip to kalkan and our first trip to Turkey. We were very happy that we did. We will definitely go back. Not a lot of English in the hotel (plenty of English down in the town), but everyone was lovely and friendly. Lovely room, fantastic views, lovely decor. Great gym (small), but it has got most things in it. Free clean pool towels every day. The pool was a salt water pool, a lovely size with a jacuzzi, and a seating area in the pool to chat with people. A small walk down the hill to the sea and the hotel give you free passes for sun beds and umbrells, there is also a lovely restaurant there as well.
The hotel is on a steep hill, but we walked it most days. We also walked into town, which was a lovely walk, and took around 25 minutes. There are lots of steep hills everywhere, so if you like walking, this will be great for you. If not, the wonderful staff can book you a cab (about £4 to town). They also booked us restaurants and couldn't do enough for us. Bar staff was fantastic, even stayed open till we came back from the town or other restaurants for our last drink/drinks. If the cocktail we wanted wasn't on the menu, they would look it up and make it for us. They also played the music you asked for from YouTube. Restaurant staff fantastic. The manager and his wife couldn't do enough for us and tried so hard to make us feel very special and welcoming. We didn't eat there in the evening as there were so many lovely restaurants around but we did have breakfast and lunch at the hotel which was lovely. I'm celiac, and they catered for me aswell. Also, there is a shop 5 mins up the road which has gluten-free items (biscuits, crisps, bread, rolls etc. )

The hotel staff are very nice and the surroundings are great! (A big thank you to the hotel staff) The hotel is very, very clean. You really feel very well looked after. The food in the hotel is cheap compared to the prices in the city. In addition, everything is freshly prepared and tastes great, which is why we often ate in the hotel. For a meal in the city (20-25 minutes on foot) I can recommend Adana Dürüm in the restaurant "Hünkar Ocakbasi". The beach club "Kulube" is 200m away (you can get tickets at the hotel and entry is free). The paths are hilly, but the view and the water are so great that the path is quickly forgotten. There is also a sufficiently large pool in the hotel. This is freshly filled with sea water and cleaned every day. In the hotel you get the most beautiful view of the sunset. You can access the terrace at any time. We were in the same hotel in 2022 and have now come back in September 2023. We will definitely visit the hotel a third time and more. A place to feel good and unwind!

What a view ! Visited the soothe hotel for lunch as we are staying at nearby Kulube. What a fantastic view and the pool was enormous. Sooo quiet just one couple in the pool ans then another by the time we finished a long lunch. Couple beers some water a chicken burger and tuna salad with chips approx £23 extremely good value ! Manager kindly showed us around . Stunning views form the room and breakfast area. Lovely laid back vibe.

Very nice hotel with a fantastic sea view. Super nice, friendly and competent team.
Clean rooms, the service was very good.
The food in the hotel, always freshly prepared, can only be recommended.
The seawater pool is in no way inferior to the Kulube Beach Club.
The town of Kalkan is very beautiful with its many small alleys, restaurants and shops. Taxis are definitely an advantage due to the very hilly location.

An oasis in the beautiful Kalkan, this hotel is just pure relaxation. The views from the grounds are incredible and the hotel is spotless. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, no fighting for sunbeds etc. and there's lots of little seating areas for you to just chill out and take it all in.
Bar Manager Soupi was the highlight of our trip - so friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming, and lovely to have a chat with at the bar or down at the pool. He is a pure delight and an absolute asset to Soothe Hotel.
Top tip: take advantage of the free entry to beach club Kulube (just a 5 min walk down the hill) where you can enjoy a change of scenery, a swim in the beautiful sea, drinks and food at the bar.
