Detailed Reviews
We had a sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We stayed for a couple of nights for my wife's 60th birthday on arrival to our room they had put flowers on our bed and we were made to feel very welcome.
The bed was great the room was fantastic and the shower fabulous.
We ate at the rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinners, the curries were delicious as a chef myself they were top notch..
The manager and staff were brilliant, very helpful some of the best we have met on our travels.
Hired a boat for a private trip it was fantastic and the lunch one of the best we have had on any boat trip even from the ones at fethiye.
We would stay at the Zinbad again and recommend it to all.

We stayed in sea view room and it was lovely!
Very central hotel but not loud.
You don't have to walk up hill like other hotels in Kalkan as well(Very steep city). Staff named Okan was very gentle and helpful to us.
Breakfast in the terrace is really rich and nice, you can also spend the evenings with nice wine in the silence, watching over the sea and city.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and have to thank Ahmet and his team for making us so welcome and running a superb hotel . Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed good bathroom and a fabulous view of the harbour. The breakfast which is included was of very good quality . We ate at the restaurant on four nights which has a great view of Kalkan bay both the Indian and Chinese menus are fabulous and extremely good value . We highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and hope to return soon .David and Anne Reynolds

Vandaag aangekomen (21 juli) in Kalkan Zinbad Hotel.
Arrived today (21 july) at Kalkan Zinbad Hotel. There is no space to park in front of hotel and move luggage. Parked further away (long search to find a parking space). Walking distance of 200 meters also with the stairs up with all luggage.
Once checked in (13:45) we went to our room (2 rooms). Both rooms were not clean and really dirty, 1 room still with luggage from other visitors.
Walking back to reception it turned out that one of the rooms had to be moved to another room and then cleaned. The other room was extremely dirty and needed to be cleaned as well. With this heat we were told we could sit on the terrace with air conditioner.
When you arrive on the terrace, the air conditioning is turned off. Then walked down again and we wait in the lobby. No apology was offered and gentleman even entered into discussion with us.

I've been coming to Kalkan for 24 years and this is probably the one hotel I would not be happy to return to.
The bed was very hard (and I like a firm bed) and uncomfortable. It had one cover which didn't fit and the air-con was not user-friendly. Unfortunately leaving the balcony door open was not feasible as you are 50 yards or so away from the very noisy night clubs which pound away until 2 am.
The shower floods the bathroom every time, probably because the drains aren't cleaned. Towels were plentiful but cleaning was pretty eratic.
Breakfasts were a bit meagre/hit & miss, easily the worst I've come across though the view from the terrace is wonderful.
The lady who manages the reception area was excellent, very helpful and friendly but sadly this alone isn't enough to tempt me back.

Difficult to find if you arrive by car, there is a car park very close by. Very nice check in, helpful staff. We had sea view room with balcony which was nice, A/C worked well. Very central location which is important as the village has very steep hills everywhere and can be challenging to navigate if you are at the top or bottom of the centre. I heard the club music can be loud but I had no issue at all. Would return next time in Kas but I will skip the Indian restaurant (separate review)

This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for a dip in the sea, or a wander around the harbour. The food is cooked by Ahmet, who is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The views from the restaurant are to die for 😎

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and Ahmet and his team yet again provided an excellent experience. Small, and tucked away by the mosque near the harbour, the hotel has probably the best terrace view of the harbour, whether it’s for breakfast, dinner or a late evening nightcap. The rooms are comfortable and well serviced. We will definitely return

It is the best hotel among the similar ones I have ever stayed.
Its location is very advantegous. Very close to the beach and restaurants, besides, it has the best view in Kalkan (better than it is seen at photos).
The crew is unique. They are all very helpful and very warm. They made our holiday better with their good attitude.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
The breakfast is delicious with mostly home made food. If you prefer to have lunch or dinner at the hotel, it is also the best in town.
I (and my family) strongly recommend the Zinbad Hotel. If you would like to visit Kalkan and around (you should because the whole region is worth seeing) Zinbad Hotel is the best to stay at.
