This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever visited, the rooms are absolutely spotless. With clean sheets and towels everyday the maids work extremely hard making the rooms clean and tidy each day. I was a little disappointed with our room though as it is literally half the size of the rooms on the Jet2 and Dogan Hotel websites. I had emailed a week or so before to request a quiet double room but both rooms were facing the front of the hotel overlooking bar street!!. We did move rooms from a twin to double only to have an even smaller room with the smallest shower and toilet in Antalya. That would have been fine for a long weekend but over a fortnight you need more space to dry wet clothes and towels. If I had had a room like the ones on the websites I would have definitely given a 5* review, I would have been quite happy to pay for an upgraded room.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially the Gents on reception and Ergan in the restaurant. The food was amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of a little bit of everything so there would be be plenty for the fussiest of people. We ate in the restaurant on our last evening and the food was honestly the very best we had in Kaleci, our biggest regret was not eating there earlier in the trip too.
Be aware that the transfer buses can’t get into the Old Town as the streets are too narrow. Our transfer bus dropped us just outside the Old Town which would have been fine if it wasn’t 4 am and if we knew where we were going!!!

Loved our stay at Dogan Hotel it's the city hotel you dream of. First I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be able to keep to the standards as the photos promised them but I should not be disappointed. The pool area is as cosy as the picture promise it the pool is perfect by size and even the small basin is lovely to have a nice cocktail into. The service is more than you can ask for. Everybody is concerned to make your stay as comfortable as possible and they get not tired to offer every help possible. I've been staying at a lot of hotels til now w/ job as well as on holiday this one really stands out by its cosyness. The restaurant is nice as well in the morning you have a buffet now in Corona-times you need to wait to be called to fetch your stuff and you are being given everything you want to eat. Until then the service guys provide you already with drinks and try to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.
From the surroundings you are directly in town center with all of the bars and you can reach all the touristic spots and restaurant by foot. Just 5 min (if even) from the hotel by foot you reach the city beach which costs 40 Lira/day&pers and it's damn crowded - BUT you can also do it as the others and get into the water a few steps further between the rocks there is also a possibility to lie down.
We really loved our stay at Dogan Hotel, totally recommend it and would visit it again when going to Antalya.

Set In the heart of the old town of Kalichi within walking distance of the seafront and marina and lots of cobblestone streets with restaurants, bars an tourist shops. If you are expecting a 5* modern Hotel, forget it. This is a traditional boutique Hotel with lots of wood beams and panelling. Our room 147 was a spacious double with a little enclosed balcony, tea and coffee making facilities a stocked fridge (chargeable). There are toiletries in the bathroom, towels are lovely and there is a really good hairdryer. This Hotel is not suitable if you are not able bodied as it’s on a hill and has lots of steps inside. But if you like traditional and are ok with steps and stairs I would recommend it. The staff are wonderful. In particular the dining room/bar waiters Ircan and Ugur who were amazing and went above and beyond expectations in looking after our needs. It has a beautiful little pool, too cold for me, with showers and nice comfortable loungers and the Hotel provide beach towels. We went 1/2 board but I would recommend B&B as there are so many places to discover and eat out and it’s so cheap. On average about £5 for dinner main course. The weather at the beginning of November was beautiful during the day sunbathing weather without being stiflingly around 23c but evenings a jacket or sweatshirt is needed as the temperature drops.There is a Turkish baths near by which we sampled, a great experience. Lots to do and see with taxis very cheap. It was so lovely to go to a place that really treats you as a valued customer. We felt welcomed everywhere we went. I went to have implants done by the Myra clinic who were Fantastic, my whole experience of Kalichi and Antalya was wonderful.

Booked an 11 night stay after reading reviews etc and months before I was due to travel I requested a quiet room with a double bed, eventually the request was replied to and I was advised all would be so. Upon arrival I was greeted and given room 149 , this room is in the eaves and has severe headroom issues and a broken toilet which I didn’t raise issue with, before setting in I requested a room change due to be banging my head constantly, this was done without question. I was given room 132 which was much brighter and airier. Over the stay I did notice a bad drain smell intermittently and there was signs of mold/ dirt in the shower but overall the room was clean and cleaned daily and restocked with shower products and coffees, with fresh towels. The hotel breakfast I found to be very good and varied and service by Orcan and Cejin (not sure of this spelling sorry) was exceptional. Unfortunately during my stay the pool was being refurbished, shame it wasn’t mentioned prior to booking. The location makes this hotel, the staff make it acceptable .

Arrived late in the evening and the bar was closing, the wonderful bar man was so happy to serve us a drink, even though he was finishing. Amazing first impression. I was allocated a room with 2 single beds, no window and I would describe this as a pokey dungeon. I did complain and the reception staff happily moved me when abetted double room became available, which was light and airy, poolside, immaculately clean and comfortable. The rooms are slightly dated, but cannot fault the comfort of the bed, the bathroom facilities and general comfort of the room. Curtains too small for the windows, so bare this in mind if you’re a light sleeper, didn’t bother me too much. The restaurant and poolside staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. This is a small hotel and so they remember your needs, what you drink and really go above expectations. Sinan was always so kind as were the others. The poolside is small with loungers, but perfectly comfortable. The location is great and not too far from any where. Food in the hotel was always very good, the best food I ate was here. Pizzas are delicious, cesar salad and the pasta dishes. Really impressed with their help regarding dietary requirements. I would most definitely return here, a very nice and friendly hotel. Great value for money and the restaurant and poolside staff make this place a success

This Hotel is beautiful and was just what we wanted. Everything is clean and the service is second to none.
The location is situated in in the old town which is where you want to be and you can walk to everywhere. It has the best restaurants there is a taxi rank 50meters away and the harbour 3 mins away. You can book excursions in the harbour and visit a private beach for 70lira.
We didn’t realise we booked half board and we were blown away by the range of foods on offer. They have anything and everything. Ugur Abali, the food and beverage manager, was exemplary in customer service and nothing is too difficult for him. He leads a very strong team and it shows in his staff. I would go as far to say it carries the hotel into the outstanding category. All the staff were lovely and another special mention to Ercan who made us feel very comfortable and settled.
The cleaning team excelled too. The rooms were spotless every day. One day we asked for it not to be cleaned so put do not disturb on the door but someone will come round to top up the tea/ coffee and mini bar in the day. Which they do ask politely. This didn’t bother us but some people have left negative reviews about. (Maybe they should learn some Turkish before visiting their country)
It was very emotional leaving, but thank you for a wonderful week. We will be back soon.

The hotel is located in old city area and offers the best comfort like ur home. It has courtyards and swimming pool which offer the best Mediterranean feel of the place to its core. Amply sized rooms with good views outside the window, depending which side it faces. Well lit by natural light. Bathrooms are little small but still sufficient. Breakfast is amazing and the hosts at the property welcome with warmth. The hosts are extremely helpful. We had to order a delivery from Mc Donalds but were unable to do it online, so we asked the host at reception to call and order for us which he gladly did. Breakfast in the courtyard was a treat due awesome environment and weather. Strategically located for all tourists in Kaleici area; with one side walakable to have fantastic views of the marina and Mediterranean sea while other into the hustle bustle, shopping, restaurants of the area. Wonderful place to stay.

Loved Loved LOVED this place. It was everything we wanted and more. Beautiful room - attic room with low slanting ceiling. Was a little issue but it didn't take away from the rest of the holiday. Quiet pool area where I sat and complete The Island of Missing Trees to the reverent sound of the Azaan. It was bliss. We went half board and were not disappointed; so much variety buffet style food & dessert. And if you didn't like what was on offer you could order from the set menu. Set in the heart of the bustling old town, you were moments away from busy clubs, pubs & restaurants and a little walk further - quieter calmer outdoor cafes, restaurants & bars. I love the feel of late night coffee shops and watching the world go by. Lots to do and see, Hadrians Wall, Ottoman architecture is still prevelent today as most building are still standing. We walked everywhere and loved it. Old town is not so huge so it doesnt take long to get your bearing. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. If we ever go back we will inshallah seek out Dogan hotel, an old Ottoman style building with so much charm and character. There is access to a private beach; you have to pay and can pitch up all day. Best to go in the morning, get your spot and chill. Fell in love with the stray cats... !!!

This is our 3rd time at this beautiful hotel and we look forward to coming many times more. The hotel and outside areas are spotless and full of character. The charming courtyard is where the generous and tasty breakfast is served and also the evening buffet which is a great price of €10 for all of the choices. The choices from the menu are also tasty and beautifully presented as are the drinks and cocktails. The pool area is delightful, surrounded by flowering plants. We had room 122 a deluxe room in the main building 2nd floor with a small balcony which was beautiful. Last but certainly not least a big thank you and recognition to the wonderful staff, house keeping, chefs, reception and the bar and waiting staff who work so hard to make sure all your needs are met. Especially Ercan and Ugur - nothing is to much trouble for these guys and a special mention to Mohammed who's cheeky smile melted my heart every day. The hotel is in a perfect spot for the small beach and the bars and restaurants. We can't wait to come back

Lovely hotel in Old Town Antalya close to decent bars and restaurants, handy to well stocked supermarkets. Warm welcome on arrival from the staff who spoke decent level of English. The room was comfortable and bed comfy, good air conditioning and exceptional bathroom. we were delighted the hotel met our request for a balcony as this made all the difference. Old Town is charming but not quiet due to adjacent bars etc, but this did not impact greatly on us.
We were treated very well by most staff - housekeeping, reception and especially breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. we found that if we used a few words of Turkish this was much appreciated. of exceptional note for us were the lovely Jilali who was extremely helpful and knowledgable the restaurant area and the reception staff who could not do enough. i do not wish to leave a negative review but we found that only SOME of the senior management took the time to speak to guests and chat to them - this is very important to guests and after a while it became noticeable that more effort should be made. One of the senior staff in the reception area I think was lovely with kids and those travelling alone. She set a good tone for the others, a good example. I would certainly recommend if travelling alone and there is a good taxi service nearby also.
Excellent standard of food for breakfast, something different every day! We were certainly well looked after and overall decent levels of English speaking, but weary traveller take note: loud music and traffic, revelling can go on long into the early hours, bring earplugs if you want a good early night. This is Turkey. They know how to party.
