I had a lovely 6 night stay at the Crowne Plaza, Antalya. The Rooms and hotel are spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing every single one we spoke to were really helpful and polite. My only little gripe was the food. It’s nice but very repetitive as it is the same menu for lunch evening meal and room service. Most mains have the same sides too which is a bit boring for the customer.
The spa is very good. The treatments I had were amazing and very cheap, £16 for a Turkish bath and 1 hour Bali massage. I would definitely be booking to stay here again.
I have read other reviews stating that there is a bad smell in the hotel, however neither of us smelt anything peculiar, just a lovely perfume scent that you get in most nice hotels. I also read the rooms weren’t cleaned properly, however on our trip everything was spotlessly clean. Also people have stated the hotel is old and needs renovating, it is a classic elegant hotel I personally think it’s lovely and wouldn’t change a thing. Not everything has to be super modern to still be 5*

There are so many positive memories of this holiday I want to make sure I don't forget any details. Today is the last day of our amazing 10 day stay here, and I'm already planning the next visit - maybe as soon as December!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted like old friends and looked after like family. We were offered Turkish tea and cold water and a refreshing lavender face cloth to freshen up as we checked in. Masks and hand sanitiser were also provided.
Throughout our 10 day stay, the legendary Battal always greeted us with a big smile and great sense of humour. This amazing man has an answer for everyrhing! Thank you Battal!
Cleanliness throughout the hotel was great, staff were literally cleaning and sanitising surfaces, lifts and floors constantly. We always felt very safe. Food was varied, always fresh and delicious.
The location of Crowne Plaza is perfect in many ways. It is set directly in front of the stunning Konyaalti beach. Vivid blue seas framed perfectly by mist-covered mountains and blessed with uninterrupted sunshine all day. The view from the amazing pool gives the impression that it is actually connected to the sea. A beautiful scene to wake up to.
There are also literally dozens of shops restautants and cafes within a short walk or a 2 minute taxi ride. We discovered a new place to sit and enjoy every day.
The hotel has a spa, gym and indoor pool which close at 10pm, which was a real bonus.
The real highlight for us was the outstanding support and help we received from Rim, the smiling and always friendly guest relations manager. Whether advsing us on trips, or local highlights, or even sending surprise fruit bowls to our room, it felt like we were always on her mind. For us she was the face of the whole hotel and supported by Noura, Necla and reception staff, we always felt very welcomed and looked after. For me its the positive human moments that all add up to the special experience.
In the interest of balance, although very comfortable and well equipped, the rooms could all do with some cosmetic refreshing - maybe some lighter colours on the doors and furniture. Having said this, if you are still unsure of where to stay in Altalya, I can honestly say we did not regret a single minute of our visit to this wonderful hotel, and I now consider the lovely people there as friends.

This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed in during my trip and having spent a few days here I would definitely come back. Initially I was a little concerned that this is a bit further from the city but actually it’s a really nice area in the suburbs with beachfront walks, restaurants and even a Starbucks. If all inclusive type hotel resorts aren’t your thing this is a fantastic alternative. Some tips before I go further. 1) Try and get a sea view room with pool view, these are the rooms with the best views. 2) Check out the spa, the treatments are half the cost of the UK and they even have a ladies only second spa on the top floor. 3) If your flight home is late and you ask very nicely, subject to availability they may allow you an extra couple of hours in your room on the day of departure. 4) Nothing specific to this hotel but a general tip use the taxis and go out in the evenings, but make sure it’s a metered taxi which are very reasonable. If the driver gets out a guide with prices in it walk away, I found out the hard way this is not the correct prices. For a trip to the city it’s around £6 and around 25 minutes. So onto the hotel. The place is spotless and the covid precautions like all the hotels are I would say better even than in the UK. Staff all wear gloves and masks, temperature monitors everywhere, alcohol dispensers etc etc they are taking it very seriously here everywhere. The interior of the hotel is impeccable with floors in reception so shiny you see your face in them, the pool area is very comfortable with padded sun loungers and a nice view of the sea. There is a private tunnel going to the beach which is just across the road, however this particular beach is a little more course material but perfectly good. Rooms are spacious and have coffee and tea making facilities plus free water replaced daily. I would recommend upgrading from the basic rooms as they have a separate lounge area for not much more money but even the basic rooms are very good. I got a deal full board, the food is the best I have eaten here no contest. The breakfast and dinner are buffet style but the quality of the food is way above the all inclusive resorts and the service is excellent. Even if you are paying the prices are very reasonable and a mixed grill the size of a house is about £6 at the time of this review. Evenings there is a piano player in the foyer but you can use the indoor pool until 9pm or go for a walk down the sea front where there are some bars, cafes and restaurants to chose from. For the cost this is about as good as it gets and this hotel easily earns 5 stars.

We stayed for a week in Oct and right from our arrival we felt safe at the hotel with temperature checks on entry and hand sanitizer everywhere. The staff are excellent, especially at breakfast, and the hotel is kept so clean. The pool area is nice with plenty of space to relax and it’s kept spotlessly clean.
Good selection of food available at breakfast and all kept behind screens for safety.
We would have rated 5 stars but a few little things let them down.
Our room was rather tired looking with some of the electric sockets not working, at one stage we had to boil the kettle on the floor as only one socket worked. It was fixed the next day but not what you expect from a five star hotel.
When we arrived there was no water or tea and coffee in our room. It was very late so we waited until the morning to ask at reception. They advised that due to Covid we need to request this by phoning room service. We did and it was sorted straight away but it would have been better if this information was given during check in so we know what to do. It’s also the same for room cleaning which is done on request.
Service from the bar was slow in the evening so a couple of times we waited too long and went without a drink.
Overall, the location is good, views are lovely, the staff are friendly and hard working, especially keeping their guests safe in a pandemic but management need to invest in the rooms.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Antalya for 7 nights in august one the best holiday experiences of my life staff including Irem, Selin Esen at the restaurant were very nice covid 19 precautious were also very high suggesting why Antalya's cases are so low . English at the hotel is not the best but defiantly no limited Mr Battel the luggage man was very helpful and called a taxi for us Erkhan at the reception was also very helpful. Hotels room was amazing but they don't regularly change the sheets only when a new guest arrives we got it changed but otherwise no problems we had booked a sea view room and it was the best seeing the boats and the hotels lovely pool from the comfort of our own room tea/coffee and water were brought regularly staff were not rude and the restaurants food was very nice defiantly not the last time i am coming to Antalya and i am sure i will come back again.

Overall, we had a good and comfortable stay at the Crowne Plaza Antalya.
Dilek and Rim made our check-in process hassle-free. Both were warm and hospitable.
We appreciate the room upgrade. The room was spacious, had a nice layout, and featured comfortable beddings typical of Crowne Plaza properties. It had an awesome sea view perfect for sunrise watching.
The security guard who checked our body temperature was always courteous.
There were a few lapses though.
1) We had to request for the complimentary coffee/tea and bottled water on our first day as these were not available in the room.
2) Housekeeping failed to clean our room. If we stay in a hotel for two nights only, we always skip the daily cleaning to save on resources by hanging the DND (do not disturb) sign. In our case, we stayed for four nights. After the third night, we removed the DND sign, so our room could be cleaned. We went out at around 11:30am. We were disappointed upon our return in the evening, our room was not cleaned.
3) Only the temporary wifi was working, which wasn't a good option as it got disconnected regularly. The regular wifi, where the room # and birthday info were provided, didn't work.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and the service was outstanding. Such a clean hotel, the pool is a good size and lots of sun lounges. Towels were wrapped freshly in plastic bags so we knew that they were clean! Room service was great as well when we rung and asked for anything they’d be up within 5 mins. I would 100% recommend this hotel as the staff are lovely and we had a great experience here in Antalya because of this hotel!

This hotel may have a five star rating but it unfortunately fails to deliver on many of the aspects that this award requires and demands. Before I elaborate, I would like to make it clear that many of the staff are exempt from this criticism and fulfil the service ethos that is expected of a hotel of The Crowne Plaza's alleged stature.
My wife and I have just finished a six night stay here and were left disappointed on many levels. The housekeeping at this hotel leaves much to be desired. When we checked in we were told that the room would only be cleaned every five days due to COVID19. But when we arrived in our room it was patently clear that it had not been cleaned at all. It was filthy, with marks of all kinds on most of the surfaces and floor that had not been mopped or scrubbed for some time. In my opinion, The Crowne Plaza appears to neglect their ‘standard' rooms. There were so many basic amenities that did not work or were absent. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee or water. And these were not replenished until the third day. The television did not work and when fixed, the batteries in the remote needed replacing, something I had to bring to the front desk's attention. It appears that the most sub standard of rooms was allocated simply because it was ‘standard' and too much had to be taken as read for this hotel to warrant a five star award. We were given very basic information only about meal times; openings and any other services we had to discover for ourselves, hardly a luxury experience.
The saving grace here were the front of hotel staff, who tried to rectify problems but were hampered by poor hotel standards. We are used to weighing scales being in every bathroom of the five star hotels we have stayed in. Yet here they had a solitary hand scale and this was apparently taken by a guest, so we were taken with our suitcases into the bowels of the hotel to use the staff scales! This is appalling for any establishment, let alone a five star hotel.
The proximity to a beautiful beach and well maintained pool achieve some credit. But the standard rooms at the Radisson, Fairmont and Movenpick in Dubai to name but a few are far more spacious and maintained to a standard that you would expect from a five star rating. We will be visiting Antalya again but we will not be staying at The Crowne Plaza.
My wife and I have just finished a six night stay here and were left disappointed on many levels. The housekeeping at this hotel leaves much to be desired. When we checked in we were told that the room would only be cleaned every five days due to COVID19. But when we arrived in our room it was patently clear that it had not been cleaned at all. It was filthy, with marks of all kinds on most of the surfaces and floor that had not been mopped or scrubbed for some time. The hotel in in a beautiful Arab architecture but in a sloppy surroundings.
All my expectations from a 5 stars hotel faded away in less than 1 day.
The hotel has a nice size pool and have a subway to the beach for its guests.
The staff do not greet unless you need to talk to them, it felt like they were the guests, The only member of staff that was always kind and greeted us with a genuine smile (we could not see his smile because all were wearing a face mask), a smile that we could see through his eyes, was Mr Battal, a very gentlemen.
The room was fine but when we get in it on the desk there was a small bag with a mask and a small bottle with disinfectant maybe left from a previous guest, the balcony door was not clean. there were lot of finger prints who knows from who. In the room there was a kettle to boil the water but no coffee or tea which appear only in the middle of our stay.
In the bathroom the left button of the toilet flush was not working properly, when we used it the water would not stop, we fixed it and used only the right one.
The same flush button was not so clean (likely in these time we always go around with some disinfectant); on the sink faucet where is placed the small lever to close the drain was missing the knob, it was not easy to use it.
When we left the room we needed to pull the door with force or it would not close and couple of times in the afternoon after the beach we find the door ajar cause the housekeeping probably did not check it. We did not report at the time these issues because we did not want any other then the housekeeping to visit our room due the covid-19 situation, even if the staff took all precautions necessary for the case.
The breakfast was so so, the smoked salmon was awful, a 3 minutes cooked egg was like a 11 minutes cooked. The yoghurt and the jam was nice.
Only once we decided to have dinner at the hotel, it was not a good decision because the food was mediocre and the bread they served us tasted old.

You can travel safe during COVID-19 since here is what you can expect during your stay: hand sanitizer available to guests & staff, regularly sanitized high-traffic areas, require to regularly wash hands, clean rooms and surroundings, including lobby, restaurant etc.

We have 2 pools. The depth of the indoor and outdoor pools is 1.40 cm as per the standards. There is a children's pool in our 2 pools. The depth of the children's pool is 40 cm. There should be parental control in the use of these pools.
