Club Big Blue Suite Hotel is frequently commended for its prime location near the beach and central Alanya, which guests find enhances their stay. The hotel boasts a lively atmosphere with nightly entertainment that earns praise, including live music and dance shows. Although the rooms and the hotel itself receive accolades for cleanliness and the variety of food options, some guests have voiced concerns about the size of the rooms, air conditioning issues, and inconsistent housekeeping. Additionally, the cost of Wi-Fi and certain all-inclusive restrictions are noted as detracting from the hotel's overall value.

We came for 10 days in Aug 2020 to stay at the Big blue! The Hotel is absolutely lovely and staff at reception really helpful and welcoming. Rooms are very nice and really clean, we had a room that over looked the pool which we loved.

Abdi looked after us from day one and was absolutely fantastic at making sure we were ok , he made our holiday and worked very hard to ensure we were happy! Thank you 🙏🏻
Umat was also really helpful and friendly and made us laugh (Kedi)

Nuri was the entertainer - he always kept the kids entertained with the slides, playing water polo or table tennis! He worked hard on kids disco but wish we had more shows to watch but this may have been limited due to corona!
To be fair all The Staff worked so hard especially the 2 behind the bar too 😃

Food is ok. It wasn’t a huge variety and they served it too us rather than help yourself due to Corona which at times was difficult! I personally think pancakes / bread / jams and cereal could all be together as when your a family of 5 and need to feed 3 children the queuing system was a nightmare. The food certainly isn’t aimed for the Brits but we made do, but struggled with the limit menu.

The all inclusive alcohol is very limited choice. Gin Vodka Wine Beer or Raki. We paid for all inclusive where before we have had cocktails and ice cream included but here it doesn’t!

The beach also we thought was part of the hotel and would include sun beds Or drinks but it didn’t.

The hotel is very clean! Hand sanitisers everywhere, staff serving the food, masks worn in the dining hall! (Due to corona!) i think the hotel has done very well at a difficult time

Alanya is absolutely lovely! And the Turkish are wonderful people and always makes us feel so welcome.

We went as 3 families, friends and children. We arrived after a very long trip just before breakfast opened, the evening staff on reception was lovely and helpful. Unfortunately I can not say the same for one of the younger male day staff, he wasn’t helpful and had to keep asking for things such as my toilet to be fixed and towels put in the room as there was not enough for us.

The room was basic with an awful shower container, like a caravan shower. My friends room however had been refurbished and was lovely. The air con worked well. Cleaners came in daily and changed the towels

The food was not for me, my daughter also didn’t enjoy the food. The pancakes at breakfast were amazing but the warm selection was not good. Lunch and dinner we also struggled. A couple of nights was very good, especially Turkish night. After reading reviews all saying how good the food was I came with high expectations but unfortunately I was let down by this.

The drinks machines kept breaking and they ran out of vodka one night too, when the all Inclusive drinks are limited they need to make sure they have everything available at all times. We used the fruit juice to make cocktails with the vodka. The vodka was very weak.

I also expected more from the entertainment after reading the other reviews raving about the entertainment, there was no more on offer than anywhere else I have been, aqua dance, water polo then something at night. It was no more above and beyond any other hotel. Haribo was nice and spoke good English, he did come around trying to get people involved in the daytime. King of the hotel was funny and a good night, so was the karaoke night.

There is a mosque behind the hotel that woke me up at 5am everyday with prayers playing loudly through the speakers.

There is not much around the hotel to walk to. We did eat out one evening and was collected and dropped off by the restaurant taxi service for free. There is a mall behind the hotel with pharmacy.

The pirate boat and jeep safari was both very good days out, we booked them through the star rep at the hotel and haggled the price. However the jeep safari charge you extra for water guns (a water fight is part of the excursion). Also the boat trip stopped at the harbour for too long really, would have preferred more time at a swimming spot.

The rep we had at the hotel was absolutely amazing, he was always available. I’m sure it was a star rep

The beach bar is very well priced, we had nice food there during days at the beach.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday here but unfortunately we would not return to this hotel due to the food not being for me and the location not being within walking distance to much.

Great hotel, my mum and I stayed in September. The food was delicious, the location was close to the beach and the entertainment staff organise daily coach trips in the evening to Central Alanya too (Big thaks to Haribo)! We didn't have any trouble getting sun loungers around the pool, rooms are very clean and I highly recommend a Turkish bath, every night there is a different show on for guests to watch or participate in after dinner which have been very fun. However, a few things you have to pay extra for such as the spa on site, shisha in the evening, drinks past 11pm and good WiFi... also drinks are not the usual all inclusive and consist of a list incl: house white, house red, house rose, house beer, vodka, gin and a local spirit. Note: I would reccomend taking both lira and euros!

I have just returned from 7 nights at big blue suite. Reading the reviews we were really excited and positive that this would be a great place and don't get me wrong for the money we paid the holiday was OK but many things advertised were not as they seemed and the staff were awful!
Firstly the "mini club" is not a children's club it is 30 mins disco on the stage in the evening.
The hamam was lovely but the fact you get pressured afterwards to book another appointment (and they literally book you one without you agreeing) was extremely uncomfortable.
The rooms are as basic as they come, shower door broken, clean towels only provided if you grovel and beg and no bedding change provided.
The pool sizes look nothing like on the pictures but are adequate.
The kids buffet had nothing in a child would eat and the ice creams and slushy for kids all day did not exist!
The evening entertainment is chargeable eg bingo cost £10 for 1 game.
Now for the worst bits....
Do not expect to get tipsy. The alcohol is in fact water. The staff know it, they say "speak to management.
There is a tap on the side of the draught beer used to water down the lager. When we questioned the taste of our vodka and coke we asked for a neat shot of it... it was water!
Finally on our last day our transfers didn't arrive so we went to reception and asked if they could help to interpret for us with our rep (you can imagine we were panicked) and the young man on reception sat and laughed in my face and said "this is your problem not mine" I said "please we just need your help" he smirked and said "not my problem".
We didn't meet 1 happy family at the hotel and regularly guests were complaining at reception but the staff and manager seemed to think it was all a big joke. The only staff that didn't act in this manner were the 3 entertainment team staff.
Disappointing stay at what could be if properly ran... an OK budget hotel.

We were a party of 4 who booked a last minute week away in the sun. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that the room had been set up with 3 beds in one room and 1 in the other, the picture on the holiday company website showed 2 in each. The reception staff seemed surprised that we were all in one room. On arrival at the room, we didn’t have enough towels, cups etc, there was only 3 of everything but this was soon rectified when we contacted reception. The air con did not work, nobody had told us that the balcony door had to be closed and locked, we found this out after speaking to other guests. Housekeeping was faultless, our room was cleaned every day and our towels renewed every other day. The tea/coffee was not replenished every time but luckily we did take our own supplies.
The WiFi was non existent unless you were in reception but we were told we could pay 2 euros a day to upgrade which we all did, the only issue with that is if you wanted to pay in English pounds that the amount doubled (14 euros became 25 pounds).
The food was okay, this always seemed to be cold or tepid which was a real shame and the options sometimes seemed a little strange but we always found something to eat which is the main thing.
The beach bar was still being built when we went there but were given the option to use another one at a cost but the owner was quite rude to us so we decided to head back to the hotel pool.
Kleopatras beach is a must and the cable car was also a great experience. We took a taxi to the Marina a couple of times and had a meal & drinks out which made a nice change.
The entertainment was good, something different every night and Haribo is a great asset to the hotel.
The bar staff are all really friendly and helpful and the drinks on offer are adequate, would be a bonus if there was a few cocktails included in the All Inclusive package but we were able to create our own sangria which was very tasty.
We did approach the reception staff several times regarding our issues and they did sort them out but we ended up with the feeling that we just became a hindrance to them.
We didn’t pay an awful lot for our week away and made the most of it but in our honest opinion the hotel is not a 4* but also appreciate that everyone has different opinions and standards.
Please don’t let this put you off from going there, it just wasn’t what we expected or hoped for.

We spent a week in the hotel in August 2023. More minuses than pluses. First of all, paid WIFI costs 2 EUR/device, on free WIFI you can't even send a photo on WhatsApp. No beach towels, no taking towels from the room. The hotel was renovated last year, but they probably forgot to renovate the bathrooms - straight from the Polish People's Republic, before dinner, there was a complete lack of water pressure on the 7th floor, and when there was something running, it was either hot or cold water. I recommend taking your own dryer, it overheats quickly and barely breathes. Too few shelves, there is no place to unpack - this applies to bathrooms as well (shelf only under the mirror). Towels are changed every 3 days and there is no option to change them earlier. Paid beach bar, sunbeds 2 EUR/pcs. but they are so dirty that I would never put my towel on them. On the plus side, the food, a large selection, at the beginning it was obvious - everything was good, after 3 days it seemed that everything was very repetitive and most of the dishes looked like dogs mixed with kennels. The cakes are apparently very good (I haven't eaten them), made of fruit: watermelons, melons, plums, apples, pears. Potato fries, not frozen, Turkish pizza every day from 3 p.m. - available to eat. I don't recommend the dishes for children, it's not even worth visiting. During the week of stay, 5 evening animations: a mini disco every day, a magician's show (very nice), a cellist's concert, a concert of a band with world hits, Turkish night... I didn't see any animation for children during the day, the animator sits in the club and waits, she's not very encouraging children to come, my child has never been there so it's hard to judge. Pools ok, at first I was very surprised that the slides were only open three times a day for half an hour, but in the end I think it's a very good idea, because if they were open all day long I would go crazy. There is a sun lounger for everyone by the pool, I think only once we had a problem finding a free place, but we just sat down on the chairs. Service ok, although some people don't speak English. Few Russians, mostly Poles and Angola. To the center by bus B2 10 minutes, 1.5 euros for 3 people, I recommend converting litas into euros because Turks are going crazy. Bus stop just around the corner. The beach is actually about 500 m away, and the center of Alanya is 3.5 km away. You can easily take trips from the office next to the hotel, prices are the same as in the center. Rafting, cruise - 20 euros per person, rafting takes the whole day with travel - we left the hotel at 8 a.m. and returned at 8 p.m. Overall, it's hard to say whether I recommend it or not, the hotel is okay, but it definitely doesn't deserve 4 stars. Maybe a weak 3.

We arrived in Antalya on September 9, the transfer to Alanya took 3 hours.
When checking into the hotel, I came across a Russian-speaking manager, check-in went very quickly, and they gave me a hot dog per person as a snack. The room, consisting of 2 rooms, had a refrigerator in which there was one and a half liter bottle of water (there will be no more replenishment). If you need water, go down to the bar and fill an empty container with as much as you want.
The rooms are clean, cleaning occurs daily, even if you do not turn on the illuminated cleaning sign.
The restaurant (as they call it) always has a very large selection of dishes, both main and dessert. Fruit was always present in large quantities, as were cakes. Meat every day in three types (Mutton, chicken, beef) plus sausages and sausages. The meat is cooked very well with spices and stewed for a long time, falling apart in the mouth. The bar offers a fairly decent selection of drinks, with something for everyone's taste. The restaurant staff performs their duties very well. Dirty plates disappear before you even notice, and a full ashtray is replaced with an empty one. There was a great guy at the bar, Unver, always with a smile on his face and good-natured to all the visitors. We went to Turkish Night twice (this is when the hotel staff comes out and entertains the hotel guests, brings out a huge cake on a stretcher, arranges dances with visitors, invites groups of artists for this, and their performance makes the holiday brighter. The hotel also has a very funny animator, which entertains not only children, but also adults, knows several languages, and also has a hookah bar with a huge selection of tobacco and more...
The hotel beach is a 5-minute walk, there is an underground passage and a regular zebra crossing. In Princeps, the beach is clean, clean, there is a free shower, changing cabins, a cafe on the beach is completely paid and overpriced....
Regarding the Internet: the hotel is very bad....
But on the beach - if you use a third-party program, you will have excellent internet, which will allow you to make video calls.
P.S.
Little things are always present, but they are insignificant.
The hotel fully deserves its four stars.

Two families with children, all satisfied. Hotel guests are mostly Poles (70%), Germans, African-Americans.,Turks , almost no Russians, keep in mind who cares.Staff are friendly, hello and smile everyone, the difference in attitude did not feel. At 5min.wish is the Alanium shopping center. The public beach (we went to it) is about 7 minutes walk away. There was no problem with deckchairs (there were plenty, but we had our own beach mats). The beach is sandy, when entering the sea there were indeed some huge slabs or such stones, but realized where convenient to enter and did not cause problems, even in children. Food every day is varied, fresh , beef meat, lamb, chicken, fish all delicious. Drinks:fanta, coke, sprite, juices , coffee-tea ,alcohol (all inclusive) in my opinion in any hotels are not very good.On arrival checked into an unfortunate room, but Kamil at the reception (very sympathetic, seasoned, polite, Russian-speaking) helped solve the problem in the shortest time, for which he has a special thanks!!! Relocated to 2nd Local as pictured. Animators (Aribo-very friendly, positive, Russian-speaking) try to entertain both children and adults (of course if you have just come to drink and eat 24/7, which animator will move you!!!) Animators organize trips to the beach party ($3), disco (free). For a budget holiday, everything is just fine! It is a city hotel, with a small area, without its own beach. Well, it's probably more friendly to be outside the homeland, then problems will be solved quickly and people will reach out. Have a nice holiday, everyone. (photo of room and beach attached)

Tha hotel looks nothing alike in the pictures you see. The rooms were terrible , the showres didn't work properly so we told reception but instead they've sent the "engineer" in our room with a spray acting like the shower was brand new, bed sheets were dirty and black. The towels were ripped and properly dirty. Food was okay most of the days. The best thing about the hotel is the two animation guys Ramon and John! We would only visit the hotel again for the guys from the animation team. The reception was really rude, cleaning team were honestly ridiculous they would see you as a guest in the hotel and they will lay down on the beds not cleaning the rooms.
John and Ramon , well done guys , you are the best image of this hotel !! I'm so sorry we couldn't get to say goodbye to you , we've left a message at the reception hopefully it gets to you!

The stay here was really nice. The staff is so helpful and the animation team does great job, especially Haribo who is a very optimistic person always smiling and happy. The location is also good, 10 minutes to the beach on foot and you can also go to the city centre by bus, where you have a lot of tourist attractions and wondeeful views.
