Lovely little "private" beach, great service, buffet was well stocked at all times, drinks were not to be consumed though. Check the aircons though - outdated and broken in some rooms. Enjoyed being so close to the city - easy to walk to and from

Great service and food. Very good location. Beautiful view from the Panorama Bar. Small minus for the toilets in the rooms, it was not sterile. Plus for the free WiFi. In general it was good place for holiday. I recommend this place. It is good place for the families and for the couples.

This is my second time at the parador and it is a fantastic hotel with a really friendly atmosphere from all the staff and its location is ideal for a good nights sleep and its not that far from the main nightlife and the beach is on your doorstep and I must say how help the staff are as I wasn't happy with my room ( personal choice ) and they moved me the next morning now mither and the hotel is kept clean and tidy at all times and the pool is well maintained and good for all day sunbathing if you don't fancy the beach and super markets on the doorstep too that are 24 hours but back to the hotel you always get a warm welcome for the staff every time you see them and the house maids clean your room daily and you don't have to travel far to change your money as you always get a good rate at the hotel and there is also free air con and that's a bonus when it gets very hot

We've just arrived at Hotel Panorama in Alanya. Despite booking a "Double Room, Poolside," we were assigned a room at the corner of the building, facing entirely towards the street. Our complaint has gone unheard so far; we expect better guest service from a 4-star hotel. We're very disappointed! If all rooms at Hotel Panorama are like the one we have to stay in now, I can only advise against booking here!

I stayed at Panorama the last week before it closed up for the season, November. The first two days it rained, but there is a lot to do in Alanya and at the hotel anyway. There is a very nice spa and Ibrahim who did the massage is great, one of the best! I also did my nails and hair. The nails turned out nice and three weeks later they still look good. The hair turned out about 10 cm shorter than I wanted it to be :( . The breakfast and the food at the beach bar was as expected, the salads were also ok, but the rest….I ended up going to different restaurants in the evenings even though I had all inclusive. Maybe I had bad luck because it was the last week before closing up, but I was quite disappointed as I normally like all types of food. The restaurant is also very noisy. There are so many great restaurants in Alanya so I would recommend going to at least a few of them anyway.. The room was nice and clean but I had som problems with the lights and the fridge the last two days. I liked the hotel, but there are some things to adjust. This hotel has potential to be really good and the location is great.

This hotel lived up to and to some degree exceeded out expectations. The hotel is rather old, but has been modernised and our room was no doubt worth the four-star category. Is was only 10 minutes walking distance from the city center and has its own private beach. Plenty of sunbeds (watch out for the Germans who block them with their towels as early as 5 am in the morning!), but they are for free. Food is definitly some of the better all-inclusive food that I have had. Something different every evening, lots of variety and well preprared vegetables, meat etc. The á la carte restaurant is not worth a visit though - but not necessary either, since the buffet restaurant is really fantastic! Local drinks are included - both gin and vodka drinks were really nice! Furthermore there is a lot of activity going on both day and night time. Fortunately there wasn't that many kids which was nice for us, since it was our honeymoon. In total, a place we would definitly reccommed.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise, I was a little bit worried after I read some of the other reviews here that said it is dirty, unfriendly etc. But none of that proved true.

So at first, our room - it was adequate for the price, simple but nice and clean. Air conditioning was working fine, TV had many channels from many countries (even one from Czech republic, what pleased me :-) So no objections here.

Panorama hotel is a big complex which is composed of four or five big buildings and a bunch of bungalows. It is clean and nice everywhere, I also noticed that they also have well-kept lawn and a lot of planted flowers in the area, which can't be easy to maintain in the hot environment of summer Turkey. From the facilities, there is a pool, fitness centre, billiard, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, turkish bath, internet centre... Everything for free.

The food was good, everything in a buffet form. What I found fascinating were the desserts - every lunch, every dinner about 3 different kinds of cakes (different at every meal!) and about 20 kinds of other desserts; I don't like sweets too much, but they were really delicious here :-)

There are three bars - beach bar, pool bar and the Panorama bar (above the reception). As an all inclusive guest, you have unlimited consumation of beer, wine, soft drinks and local liquers (gin, vodka, raki, etc.). The beverages were good, except for the beer, which tasted funny (strong sour touch, I wonder if they ever cleaned the tap pipes).

The beach is nice and clean, water in the sea was also clean, except for two days, when it was polluted with trash. I really don't know where it was coming from, but for me it was acceptable as it occured only twice in the afternoon - the next morning the water was pure again.

About the mattresses on the sunbeds, mentioned in other reviews - we didn't have to pay anything, the only fee was if you wanted to change your towels for new ones (1 euro each). All the reviews mentioning the problems were 2010 or older, so maybe Panorama changed their "mattress policy" :-)

The staff were friendly, smiling and nice. If you want to have them even more friendly, smiling and nice, bring enough change for baksheesh (tips) :-) Baksheesh doesn't include only tipping in restaurants, in this country you can find "tip boxes" at hotel receptions, buses etc. Giving a baksheesh is a demonstration of gratitude towards a service provider.

If you attend the local market, or actually any shop in general, be prepared to haggle over the price. Food, drinks and pharmacy products usually have fixed price, but you have to negotiate over almost everything else - it is like a national sport :-) The prices usually start at about 200 % of the real value, so accepting the first offer isn't usually a good idea :-)

For those of you who like sightseeing trips, right in the city there is a fortress and also a harbor with many ships that can take you on a sea trip. If you wanna go to some trip organized by your travel agency, beware that many historical sites are really far away from the city, so these are usually all-day trips. The trip I really recommend (unfortunately I can't remember the name of the company) was the "jeep safari", where they take you with jeeps off-road to the mountains where you can enjoy the beautiful nature. After that you will see a village mosque, nomad house and Turkish rural life in general. It takes about 7 hours and for 30 euro I think it was the best trip around.

Beware that in the summer there is really hot in Turkey. 44°C in the noon is no exception there, but luckily you can survives those thermal swings in the beach bar with a coctail :-)

Wi-fi connection is free of charge and avaiable only at the reception and the pool bar. This was a little disappointing, after reading the prospects I expected an internet connection in the rooms, but is not a big deal as you can go sit with your laptop to air-conditioned reception :-)

So in general I can fully recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms, many facilities - I really enjoyed my stay here and wouldn't hesitate coming back :-)
