Stayed for 8 nights in August in low season, very economic rates, with reasonable weather between heavy showers and located north end of Patong Beach, so away from the noise.

There seems to be two sections, the front part is more deluxe &/or family rooms while the back part round the pool area is more for singles and couples; some parts closed off for refurbishment.

Rooms were comfortable enough (had issues with safe deposit box & tv but they sorted quickly), good wifi (helped by routers everywhere e.g. every 10m in corridors), bathroom fine, double bed & single bed, with two chairs and table outside small terrace (ground floor) or balcony upstairs.

Breakfast was fine, enough to suit a variety of guest tastes with many from India, Middle East, Europe, Malaysia and Thailand (basic muesli would have been nice vs. Corn Flakes etc.).

Pool fine, towels available next to bar and the bar (run by Kit) had cocktail happy hour 4-6pm inc. cocktails, while the restaurant was not open, the same menu was available through room service (till 8.30pm), and many food choices nearby (no need to go Patong central).

Patong Lodge was the best experience I've had, the staff is so friendly despite some of them not knowing how to speak English properly. The staff makes you feel so welcomed and I felt so appreciated. The food was good as well. Besides Patong Lodge the people of Thailand are so friendly and kind. Im definitely going back.

Unfriendly staff, the window overlooked a wall! The breakfast was simple but effective, and the swimming pool which must close at 7 p.m. is full of people and music until 11 p.m.
In addition, the location is very complicated to access on foot from the outside, very dangerous road in front with two directions of traffic and no sidewalk for pedestrians, still to be taken for families with children

My group of 10 family members and I checked in on 24th Feb and checked out on 5th March. Our stay way nothing short of atrocious!

From the moment we checked in, we experienced hostility, poor service, uncleanliness and pathetic customer service.

We booked 5 rooms and all these rooms were at different parts of the hotel, even though we requested the rooms be nearby. The front desk manager said the hotel was booked full and nothing could be done about this. This was a blatant lie as most rooms on our floor alone we’re empty and confirmed by the housekeeping staff member the following day.

The rooms were poorly cleaned on most days and 3 out of the 5 rooms didn’t receive the basic services that were expected such as shower gel, toilet paper, tea/coffee. When this was raised with the front desk staff, we were told that only deluxe rooms receive these “luxuries”. This is again a blatant lie as we booked 5 rooms of exactly the same level (superior) yet the service differed from room to room.
We had to buy these basic supplies at the local ‘7 eleven’.

The breakfast was poor and lacked variety. They cooked breakfast once for the morning and usually by 9am, once the food was eaten, the supply was not replenished. Note that breakfast is served till 10:30. Several guests were visibly upset about walking from one serving tray to another and finding it empty.

Most of the staff were friendly but none were willing to make our stay more comfortable in resolving the issues we encountered. They smiled and explained that there was nothing that could be done.

The staff at the pool were rude and callous. The pool closes at 7pm and on 2 occasions when we were on our way from the pool, were told that we need to replace the pool lounge chairs back to where we found them and that we must remember that the pool closes at 7pm which means we cannot wait until 7pm to leave.

The notable upside was that the beach is across the road from the hotel so it provides some sort of consolation for the absolute atrocity that was our stay at Patong Lodge Hotel.

Where do i start this hotel is disgusting. On arrival we realised the hotel does not look like the pictures on the website its dated and some things are broken. When checking in the receptionist told us in order to check in we have to give a deposit of £100 and this would be given back to us when we check out thats if nothing is broken on inspection. Luckily i had some cash on me!!

When taking us up to our room the lift buttons was broken with wires sticking out (but still worked) the stench in the lift made me sick smelt of sewers. The skirting board around the corridor was broken and the floors looked like they could do with a good mop.

The room that was given to us was on the 5th floor it smelt of damp, the toilets was unclean, the basin was blocked and hair was left in the shower. The light on the cupboard stayed on all the time. The toilet does not flush properly either. The view from my balcony was the opposite hotels roof which was sewer pipes/ac units. Lol. My familys rooms next door was the same. There was three of them in the room next door but the gentleman that took them to the room ordered them to make the single bed themselves and handed them a pillow with bedding… What!?! Anyway moving forward we advised reception downstairs about the situation with the basin and they were happy to sort out in the morning which in fact they did. The housekeeper does come round everyday to clean the room but we noticed only the towels were changed not the bedding or cleaning the floors/bathroom. The pool at this hotel is small but it doesn look clean so i didnt end up swimming.

To put the icing on the cake when we checked out everything was fine the lady on reception handed our deposit back and we was allowed to leave our luggage on the side as our flights was in the evening. We came back to the hotel after doing some last minute shopping. A gentleman came over and accused of us of breaking a cup in one of our room. With the state of the hygiene of the hotel we dare to even touch the water or tea/kettle during our stay. We told him we did not touch anything at this point he walked away and started whispering to his colleague but nothing came to fruition.

The location is perfect with halal streetfood and beach right on your doorstep. Convenience store 7Eleven is next door and a good massage place. Not too far from Bangla Road with all the shops and restraunt.

Staff here are very friendly with one exception the gentleman in the bar was soo rude to me and my family when we tried to order our welcome drinks. We called out a few times but nothing, another guest had to get his attention for us and even then he was being very akward to even talk to us???

Overall we would visit Thailand again as people here are very friendly. Would we stay at this place again? absolutely not! I would pay more to stay in a decent hotel.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and
I have to say, we had a great time.
The service from all staff was excellent. The pool was excellent, there were plenty of sun beds around the pool anytime of the day.
We stayed bed and breakfast and there were plenty of choices, cereals, fruit, pastries, chicken sausages, eggs, they would cook omelettes to your requirements. There were also rice dishes and salad. The pool bar was great with a good choice of food and drinks at reasonable prices.
The rooms were cleaned regularly, if you wanted clean towels you either needed to ask or leave used towels on the floor. There were complimentary bottles of water as well as tea and coffee in the room too. The hotel was about a 20 minute walk to Patong beach and then onto the bars and restaurants. Walking Street was about 40 minutes, we walked it every day as it didn’t seem that far. If the walk is too much for you there are plenty of tuk tuks that charge 200 baht, about £5 depending on the currency exchange rate. I would recommend this hotel.
The only downside, we had to pay a £1000 baht deposit n case of any damage. Unfortunately a bottle of the water which came in glass bottles froze up whilst in the fridge which caused the bottle to break, this was classed as damage and we were charged for it but did get the £1000 baht back as the room wasn’t damaged.
We went on several trips and loved it so much
I can't wait to go back next year

And so, my husband and I flew to Thailand for the first time and took a ticket to this hotel. I also read the reviews and looked at the photos, I liked that there was a lot of greenery on the territory, there was a relaxation area near the pool, and in general the hotel seemed very cozy. Upon arrival in Thailand, we were taken by transfer to Patong Lodge, check-in was at 14:00, so we had to wait a little (by the way, we were not upset, because check-in everywhere takes place at this time and we were offered to leave our things at the hotel, and we went to study the area). There is a 7/11 store within a two minute walk from the hotel which was very convenient! We also found a fruit shop nearby that sold the most delicious smoothies!! I recommend everyone to try it with mango! And of course, we found a massage there (by the way, we didn’t like the massage in this place, it’s better to go to Patong itself, where there are a lot of these massage parlors and choose what you like). Across the road is Kalim Beach, but we didn’t swim there; it seemed to us that it was a bit dirty, because... There is a lot of fishing on boats there, but people still swam there. 7 minutes walk to the best Patong Beach! We went there (renting a sun lounger with an umbrella costs 100 baht), and the beach is also equipped with toilets and showers (which, by the way, you won’t see on all beaches). Well, now about the hotel itself!
Of course, it is not new and will not please you with a super fashionable renovation! Despite this, the rooms are very cozy, we got a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool! The room has everything you need: refrigerator, TV, soft large bed, desk, safe and wardrobe. The only small negative is that the only bathroom amenities they provide are shampoo, shower gel and soap. Usually this kit also comes with a toothbrush and toothpaste, but we were not upset and bought it at the nearest supermarket. The rooms are cleaned every day, they give out two bottles of drinking water every day, but it wasn’t enough for us and of course we bought five liters for our room. Breakfast buffet: varied menu! We stayed for 12 days and never got tired of our breakfasts. Everything was delicious! Pancakes in general are my favorite now, I want the same machine for my home :)
The pool is clean, the water is pleasant, there is a swimming area for children, towels for the pool/beach are provided. The staff themselves are very friendly, but no one speaks Russian, only English) we communicated through a translator, they seemed to understand each other :) In general, I only had good impressions from the Patong Lodge hotel! I'm sure I would stay here again!

Currently staying here now in the hotel, nothing but a positive experience forbthe 8 days so far. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels, replenshed coffee, tea, sugar ect. Had a slight issue with my sink that was sorted within the hour.

Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Beach towels are always available by the pool and there are always usually sun-loungers available. The main pool is relaxing and always full of life. The secadas buzzing in the evening, and the exotic birds and their calls add to a magical experience of thail life ansld relaxation.

For a budget hotel it really be faulted. Well done guys. ขอบคุณ

Lived in this hotel from 3.11.24 to 9.11.24, when checking in everything was fine, as in many hotels took a deposit of 50$, rooms for three (well the hotel of course not 5 stars and knew what was expected about when they booked), when checked in all sets of towels, the next day when cleaning the room we did not put any towels, I went down to the reception and reported it, 10 minutes later we were brought 2 large and 1 small towels (in the room 2 people and when asked for towels I reported it) as previously similar situations did not happen to me (I was far more than once abroad) did not emphasize it and took as much as given, all the remaining vacation we such a set and brought, in the end when the girl at the reception informs us that 100 baht is being withheld from the deposit, as there is no second hand towel!! To say that we were shocked to say nothing, my husband and I spent 15 minutes proving that we had none (so that you would understand even all the baggage you opened and showed right there in the lobby) and even then the girl did not want to return the full deposit and stood for the maximum time lovingly giggling with someone on the phone (she had seen before that a transfer to the airport had arrived for us)as a result I was already beginning to lose my nerve and only then she and her disgruntled face gave the money (unfortunately the name of this girl did not remember) After this situation I highly do not recommend this hotel, bred for money! And my advice to you after what happened, when checking in, check for everything and if something is missing take a picture and tell them about it, or better choose another hotel altogether

We returned to Patong from Phi Phi Island and tried this hotel. Because of the pandemic, we hadn't traveled for three years, and the hotel we used to stay in closed down. So we changed several hotels that we hadn't stayed in before during this two-week trip, hoping to find a good hotel for future stays. But this hotel was really bad beyond our cognition. First of all, we booked a double bed room, and arranged a room on the first floor of D without any sunlight. It was as shabby as a cave. All the equipment was old and pitiful. The hair dryer was even connected to the device originally fixed on the wall, and you had to hold it in your hand to blow your hair. Such a room also requires a deposit (all other hotels we stayed in Phuket and Bangkok did not require a deposit). I guarantee that no one will take anything in this room and sell it for scrap? The swimming pool is on the second floor, and the light may be better upstairs, but I see that many friends who live upstairs also complain, so this hotel will definitely not be chosen again in the future.

Dear Connie18, We can arrange the airport transfer at an additional cost of THB850.- / car / way (max. 3 person per car). The hotel is approximately 300 meters away from the Patong Beach. The best room for accommodation is depends on your preference. For example, The Deluxe is largest and highest room category while the Cozy is just newly built last year. The Superior is the basic room for budget travelers. Should you require any further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your interest in our hotel.
