Excellent, clean, quiet, and new appearing Homewood Suites. Staff (particularly the woman staffing breakfast) was friendly and helpful. I wasn’t able to check in via the app and had some issues with the digital key, but otherwise it was a smooth stay. They had non-dairy milk options at breakfast (soy and almond) which was so appreciated! The fitness room was nice with 2 Peloton bikes but neither was working well—one wasn’t appropriately activated so it could only be used for test rides (can’t log in) and the other seemed not to be connected to the internet so couldn’t be used. We had a lovely stay along the highway and would stay here again as our travel demands! We didn’t get to use the basketball court but it also was a nice touch.

Frequent travelers, this was our first stay at a Homewood Suites and it could not have been better.
A mid-week getaway to Albany was perfect to get rid of the Covid blues and start dining, sightseeing, and shopping again. For us, Albany was an easy drive on I-90 and centrally located for a number of day trips along the Hudson River and Berkshires. The hotel, itself, is nicely situated on a busy strip of retail establishments and restaurants. There's no lack of dining or shopping options in the area. It is also very close to Albany International Airport and a good option for those flying in an out of the capital city.
Our room was very large (compared to so many other hotels we have stayed in) and featured: a large bedroom with a king bed; a nice size sitting area with a tv, pull out sofa, wing chair, and ottoman; and a small kitchenette complete with a small table and set of chairs, microwave, 2 burner stove top, dishwasher, full refrigerator, and all the dishware, cookware, and silverware. This unit could easily be a very comfortable apartment.
Although there were some signs of wear on some of the furnishings and bathroom fixtures, everything was well maintained and very clean. Covid cleaning protocols were highlighted and we felt very confident that our stay would be safe. The bed and, in particular the pillows, were comfortable and every night was a great sleep.
The staff here is exceptional. We had the chance to interact with the front desk, dining room attendants, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel. Each and every person was friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic about having us as guests. I truly felt that each staff member valued our patronage.
An unexpected surprise was the complimentary meals served at this location. We were aware of the breakfast (that's available 7 days a week) and it was very good. Freshly cooked eggs (scrambled one day, over easy the next), bacon and sausage, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal with an assortment of toppings; freshly baked muffins; and a variety of bagels, breads, and yogurts. You will not leave breakfast hungry. We were surprised, though, that this location served a complimentary light meal on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. The first night we enjoyed a small salad bar, manicotti, sausage, soup, breadsticks, and beer and wine. The second night featured the salad bar, baked cod, rice pilaf, asparagus, and beer and wine. And - it was very good. Seriously, the food was really good.
There are so many aspects to this hotel that we didn't get to enjoy (e.g. outdoor firepits, indoor pool, hot tub, basketball court) that I cannot wait to return to the Albany area.

This place is a beautiful stay, however, it's the people that make it. The front desk associate that helped me was kind but when she asked if I stayed here before and I answered no, she didn't tell me where the elevators were or how to get to my room. Fortunately, associate, Taylor, saved the day! She is the most helpful and sweetest girl! She noticed my colleagues I were enjoying the complimentary dinner and drinks when she let us know that she would be cleaning up so if we wanted anything else we should get it. I couldn't get home fast enough to leave a 5 star review for this accomidation. I was blown away at the amount of amenities I got here. Check in was ok..no one was immediately present at the desk but not a long wait. I requested the top floor as I always do but had to settle for the 2nd as they were completely booked and I arrived at 6pm.
Upon check in I was informed dinner was being served as well as complimentary adult beverages...
Brought stuff up to the room, halls were spotless and well appointed. Room was spacious clean and fully equipped. Full kitchen. Even with a dishwasher.
Decides to try dinner even though there is a restaurant mecca down the road. Had pot toast with mahsed potatoes and brocolli. I'm no anthony bourdaine but I have a pretty refined, picky, bougie palat and this food blew me away. Hot, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Paired with a cold tap poured modelo..ans the. Red wine and I was quite settled in. After dinner went for a swim. Pool was clean and in working order. Once done requested the fire pit outside be out in and it was within minutes. Sat in an Adirondack chair by the fire until bedtime. Outdoor space/courtyard was well appointed with manicured grass, nice lighting and seating areas.
Bed was comfy, pillows plush and ceiling fan was perfect. You could hear a pin drop during the jight even though every room was booked.
Woke up to a full breakfast with the best blueberries I've had so far this year. Starbucks coffee. Cucumber mint infused water and fresh poured waffles. Even espresso chocolate bard at the front desk.
While I think the price I paid was a touch high for the location, the size of the unit, the comfort and flow of my stay and the fine tuned amenities that were offered made it WELL worth the rate. Very much look forward to an excuse to stay here again. Fantastic job guys!

Overall very nice property and would be perfect for an extended stay. I love the basketball court and outdoor grill area with a fire going the first night we were there. Also the pool and hot tub were great. Front desk staff were excellent. They helped me with a specific room request and also offered us some ranch dressing from the kitchen one night when we didn't get it with our meal that we ordered through take-out. Service was outstanding. Only issue we had was a group of guests at the pool were loud and using profanity around our children. The staff was not aware of this and I'm sure they would have addressed it. We also needed maintenance to reset the GFCI for the circuit our microwave is on. They responded very quickly. Saturday morning complimentary breakfast was pretty busy and the staff struggled a little keeping everything stocked but we didn't have to wait too long for them to bring out more waffle batter and milk. Overall this is an excellent hotel and was very comfortable.

Our one bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four. Room for everyone to have their own space..including our seven month old puppy. The suite was clean, good enough to make simple meals on the two stove top electric range, and keep snacks cold (sodas, dips, veggies, ice cream and left overs - just like home) in the full size refrigerator. Only disappointment was that I shared with the person who was servicing our room and then again with a supervisor, that while we were out the puppy would be in the kennel and only needed someone to come by and collect the garbage...never happened.

Staying long term at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Albany, NY and all staff is always attentive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner is always appetizing and fresh. Taylor is experienced and creative with the dishes and Lily readily available to assist with friendly and smiling eyes (darn masks). Reception responds promptly to calls for service. Carmen always provides detailed attention to the room leaving it a welcoming, crisp and comfortable place to get ready in the morning and relax after work. A big thank you to all who make staying here feel like home. There are 4 or five steakhouses within walking distance; a big plus for me. The mall, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble and a gas station are close. Located extremely close to I87 exit 4, it has quick access to the highway and a very short drive to the Albany Airport. Convenience and comfort couldn't be better.

This place is really great and the front desk is a big part. First, the room(s) because my wife and I had a desk, sofa bed, Tv, kitchen with burners, microwave, full size fridge, coffeemaker, table with chairs, dishes/pots/pans, coffee/tea/ paper towels, dishwasher, silverware, lamps. The free breakfast they put out is a big step up from every other free breakfast; eggs, sausages, taters, fruit, fruit juices, milks, butter, waffle maker and all the pastries (which I don’t eat) imaginable. Guy even came out of kitchen both days carrying a tray full of muffins!
Now, I had to call the front desk about 5 times because we had 3 rooms and 5 people in for a wedding. They were so helpful with everything! The great Lea looked up all kinds of things for me and the fantastic Amira responded to all my questions perfectly and had a maintenance man in our place in less than an hour after my wife dropped an earring down the bathroom sink. Sink and vanity in a room with closet with hangers and a safe while the stool and shower were in connecting room.
The living room is separated from bedroom by doors so one person can sleep while other watches TV.
If I ever run away from home this Homewood Suites is gonna be my first stop.

Work assignment to the area due to Covid-19. Had a very nice suite that was kept very clean by the staff. Everyday breakfasts were tasty and made to order. On the days I couldn't wait for breakfast, the front desk was always willing to get me a bagel, juice or cereal. The manager AJ was very professional and helpful. The coffee urns and hot water for tea were always available and quite good. If you can't be at home Homewood SUites at Albany Airport is a great choice. Free shuttle for the short trip to the airport. Mon Tue Wed from 5-7 they offer a social gathering (hot packaged dinner) that allowed me to pocket more of my per diem.

It is not often I have such a PROPER experience at a hotel. The gentleman at the reception desk was phenomenal in getting me all checked in and settled into a cozy suite so I can prepare for my meetings in the area. I asked to be away from the elevator and he obviously took interest in my request. The room was very clean with a lot of nice fluffy towels and a crisp comfortable bed and a beautiful clean kitchen and living area! The shower was great with continuous hot water and great water pressure!
Good closet space for my belongings, two chest drawers!
I had to run right out and found there were a handful of places to grab something to eat on the way. this only to find when I returned to the hotel DINNER was being served! beverages included! I was there for a few days but on my last night they didn't serve dinner.
Almost every time I left my room the janitor was in the hallway wiping something, vacuuming or cleaning in the lobby area. The place is beautiful!
I asked a passing cleaning lady for fresh towels and to change my trash and she took care of it straight away! Awesome! The folks serving breakfast were bubbly and talkative and the spread of food was colorful and delicious.
Everything was just wonderful and I will be returning to Homewood the next time I am in NY for my meetings!
