They are worthless than anything. Check the room over before you accept it and if you forget they take $15.00 to cancel the rest of the week and refund you the rest. Move your things again there are plenty of places to go like public biking areas that are free. Not many know about it. In Albany. No one smiles here and they are annoying. $1600 a month to live here if you get a good room it would be okay. Waiting forever for customer service. Insulting. Everything is fixed accept their rooms nicely. Customer has nothing.

This was the second worst motel/hotel at which I've ever stayed in the U.S. The other one, a dilapidated former chain hotel in Casa Grande, AZ, was expectedly torn down many years ago.
From the outside, the place doesn't seem that bad. It's located on Central Avenue, in a blue collar suburban area near the airport and very convenient to stores, restaurants and public transit. The woman who checked me in was friendly but her husband was surly. Kids were running around and they were cute. I opened the door to the room and my jaw dropped. The vinyl (?) floor was very dirty. The bedding had several holes in the it. The tub was old and dirty. The towel rack had been been in hung in two places and broken off in both so it was just sitting on the window sill. The curtain was dirty and partially hanging off the rod. Several of the slats on the floor were raised and buckled. With that one exception, I never saw anything like this in the U.S.A. There were grungy people sitting in front of their room, smoking weed. My friend discovered an open door to a room and a man laying on the floor inside. We yelled to him and he didn't move. I nudged his leg with my foot and he responded a bit so we figured he was just strung out or drunk. I never saw anything like that. I saw a housekeeper with a cigarette in her mouth while she was folding towels and then watched her throw the lit butt out into the parking lot.
Now, most people would give it a one-dot, and fill the review with exclamation points, embellishments and I'm not like that. I'm just being honest. The lady at the front desk was nice. Her and her husband managed the place and said it was impossible to get good help. The advanced room rate was really cheap, given it was Labor Day and most of the electrical items, lights, TV, fridge, A/C worked fine. I would not stay here with kids or a wife/GF, but if I was solo or with friends and the price was right, I might stay again.

I was an hour late checking out of the room. The skinny little housekeeper who never cleans rooms said “I have a job to do, so get your sh-t out of the room.” In the two weeks I stayed there, she never actually serviced my room. She’d basically smoke and hang out all day. The housekeeping only services your room if you ask and only then they only do if they feel like it. The little girl at the desk yelled at me and had a tantrum whenever I asked a question, had a discrepancy, or did anything besides give her money. She over charged. They are overpriced compared to way better motels in this area. There are no towel bars, tables were falling over, furniture falling apart and they don’t even clean your room. They will, however, bust into your room when they knock and say housekeeping and you say “no thank you.” They bust in anyway. Guess they need to get their smoke on. One of them, a tall guy, actually did his job. Then there was the neighbor who tried to bust into my room in the middle of the night. They don’t fix anything or clean and don’t listen and I got yelled at about 29 times. Ew. I don’t know how it’s up to city code or hospitality standards. It’s not.

If you need a place to just sleep and you don’t care about anything else, then this is the place. I came in after dark and I was very tired.
Good: mini microwave and mini fridge; bed ( I had 2 double beds); efficient check-in
Bad: the heater wasn’t on in the room, outside temperature was in the low teens; yes, I did find a stain on the sheet, but I’m too tired to care. Bathroom sink electrical plug for hairdryer, etc., looks like someone punched it the wall. This is an older property, and the room looks like it, even though it was shoddily remodeled. Corners of floors do have stains, but again, I don’t care. Heater doesn’t work well (room is cold even though the heater is set on 80). Pillows are very soft and lumpy, I recommend bringing your own. Of course as a frequent traveler and visitor of Motel 6, the blankets and covers are very, very thin. If possible, bring your own comforter or heavy blanket, especially in the middle of winter. The TV didn’t work at all.
Other: bathroom has an window that does open/close and if you are small enough you could climb out of. Location: I can’t comment since it is in the middle of the night, plus I didn’t pay attention.
Worth the price for 1 night stay, no.

When we went up to our room it was clear that it was not the non smoking room we had ask for. I tried to call the front desk but the phone was disgusting and inoperable. I went to the front desk and told them the situation, they apologized and said it was all they had left. We just needed a place to sleep after a long day on the road so it wasn’t the biggest of deals. The floors and tables were questionable as far as cleanliness goes, the bed was and the tv wouldn’t connect to cable. Just be sure to take shower in the morning. What did I expect for the price? I guess a heck of a lot better.

Room was filthy. Floors were covered in human hair and food remnants. Room number sign was lying on sidewalk in front of room and there appeared to be spit on the mirror in the main room. The toilet was leaking septic water onto the bathroom floor. We called the reception desk and politely asked to change rooms and were verbally accosted by the staff and told to leave the hotel immediately and to "go stay somewhere else." The staff challenged my request to move rooms and came into the room and began arguing with me aggressively as I pointed out the filthy conditions. I had my wife, toddler, and infant child with me, and was told to leave and that I would be charged for the room with no refund. The staff told me all rooms were of equal upkeep and that policy is to not clean floors after gusts depart. I was then shown an equally dirty room next door to illustrate this point. When I asked to speak to the manager, staff called the manager and lied about the situation in front of us over the phone, and refused to let us speak to the manager. Staff refused to give manager's name and contact information. I contacted Expedia, who then called the manager. The manager then lied to the Expedia while I was simultaneously on the line trying to cancel the reservation. We were in the room no more than 2 minuted before being thrown out of the motel and charged for a full night's stay. Also witnessed what appeared to be drug users/prostitutes on the premises staying as permanent residents.

This hotel is an excellent stay for a business traveller. The rooms are very clean, and the water pressure is EXCELLENT! Staff and location are great. I have joined their frequent stay program and I plan to stay here every time I visit Albany. Rooms are very affordable --- what they should be.
