The Hotel is located across the road from the Botanical Gardens, the room we had was located at the front of the hotel.
At night time the noise from the main road sounds like you are at a motorbike racing track, unbelievable. The stay included breakfast which was very good.

I found the deluxe room small. We stayed here for 10 nights and with our luggage and stuff, there's only little space left to move about. The bathroom is okay, I didn't have time to try the swimming pool, and never really saw it. The hotel has this weird layout that it's actually difficult to know where the other amenities are. The restaurant is in a corner on the ground floor which I find a little weird. I didn't like the tablecloths they look dirty. The food is okay, although I did like their tea.

the location is good, near Kebun Raya Bogor (you can walk to go here) and also train station. easy to find food outside. the room is small and the amenities are average. the staff are friendly, the breakfast is average. the rate is expensive. it's 4 stars hotel with 3 star facility. i prefer other hotel.

Yes there are lots of staff they try to help and the look smart but who ever is managing the hotel has no idea. Stayed 4 nights to provide training on site and had a breakfast and meal package provided.

On arrival I checked out the conference room I was to use and they had squeezed 4 people on a table designed for 2, the chair covers were filthy, it would not have been possible to use the room for the maxumum number we were told. I had to re-arrange the room on my own no help from the hotel was available - reception would not allow the air con on in the room will I sorted out their mess unless I paid an extra day to hire the room!. The conference room floor is laminated flooring so you cannot move without loud footsteps -> I gave training in my socks.

the hotel has no way of billing items to you room but want you to pay cash for everything you want - so if you want a beer they want you to pay for it at reception if you use a card etc etc. The beer once I had walked over to the 3 waiters who had not seen me for 5 minutes as they were talking to each other arrived on a tray - unopened beer can with glass

I looked in the hotel room guide to see how to log on to the internet and the first page is a list of all items in the room and the cost of them - ie cup - 30,000 saucer 10,000 etc etc

Wardrobe has no hangers (I suspect they are wforried you will steel them)

Evening meal is open to 9pm but if you arrive after 19:30 the staff use the restaurant as a relaxing room to stand around and talk with each other whilst other members take the items from the buffe and clean them sitting on the floor - you have to walk around them to try and get to the food

They turn on off the heat burners at 8pm and so the cold sits there getting cold (chicken etc) and then if you ask why the food is cold they simply turn on the burners and say wait it will get warm! No idea about food safety

The hotel is mainly used as far as I can see for day delegates to attend conferences and there is no understanding by the very young staff about hotel management or customer service and any hotel managers will hide from you - after 4 days of delivering training I still have not been spoken to by a single manager (or assistant) to see if I need anything for the conference room

All looks well when you look around but as soon as you have even the simpliest task or need for service they have no idea what to do. I scored cleaniness as terrible because of the food safety the truth is the rooms are kept clean etc but I would not trust the food

In future I think it is McDonalds for evening meal - and for me that really is the bottom of my selection.......................

Outstanding view but poor hotel condition. Expensive but yet lack of values. Look good from outside but inside is poor. Clocked wash basin and shower. Smell garbage early morning outside hotel room. Breakfast quality is poor.

Ugh! Where do I begin? The room was run-down, there was a hole in my top sheet, the AC leaked all over the toilet lid, there was hair on the floor of the shower, of which the door was misaligned and wouldn't close properly. Someone's old towel had been left hanging on the back of the bathroom door, there was no washcloth to use, the bathroom faucet was loose and would rotate when you turned it on or off, and when I got to the room, the refrigerator was off and musty. On top of all that, the AC's louvers stuck as they oscillated, producing an irritating pop every few seconds. Just enough to make it hard to go to sleep. The breakfast was a horror show. The guy making omelets didn't know what "plain" meant, and kept trying to make me an omelet with no yolks. And that was after I had to ask three times for one. The first two times he made scrambled eggs, set them aside, and then walked away into the back to do who knows what. Finally, I received a half-cooked one after a different guy came out and made it. Hygiene was non-existent - I'll just leave it at that. All the heating elements on one side of every slot in the toaster were burned out, meaning your toast was only ever done on one side and curled severely toward the side that was toasted like a shallow bowl. To top it off, the only juice they served was "melon". The two up sides were that the shower faucet system was very nice and easy to use, and the hotel is less than a block from a huge mall full of about a thousand shops, both big and small. If this hotel only cost $40, it might be worth it, but not at $70 a night.

Quite shocked as I got a small room for deluxe type but then I call the reseptionist to ask whether this is the deluxe room or superior one. They explain it to me that this is the right room, but they were run out of deluxe room with mountain view (which is I actually booked from booking.com, deluxe room with mountain salak view) so they gave me the room with palace view, which is a bad choice for those who wants to get a goodnight sleep.why?because the room is right in front of the main road, so you can hear cars and motorcycles outside. I dont know which one to blame, the hotel or booking.com? As a customer sometimes we didnt have much choices. The easy one is never come back to this hotel and never booked any hotels from booking.com since they're often lied to us.
swimming pool? Well it's too small to swim there, but for kids its just fun to swim cos they're just kids you know #grin
the breakfast?I dont know yet, since I just arrived here today.but I never expect much from the hotel like this.
well, next time I definitely gonna stay at santika hotel or salak hotel (this is my first stay at the royal hotel)

For the price I was disappointed in the quality of the rooms and the hotel on general. The location across form the park and near a mall is not bad but on a very busy and loud street. The view out most of the rooms is either onto the park or the nearby mountain. The food in the restaurant was okay for a hotel.

It's just an ordinary hotel, the room, lobby area, services all just not so special.
But wait until you taste the breakfast. It have miscellaneous menus and all taste good.
Plus the restaurant have a very good view to the mountain and Bogor city and also view to swimming pool area.
The pool is not really big, but enough for my son. I can really enjoy the view while waiting for my son swimming here.
And also, the location is close to cafe and factory outlet.

I spent over a decade in hospitality industry. Handling complaints. So, to complaints is the last thing I want.
This is not my first nor second even third times staying here. And this visit I only have 2 nights in my country with my kids. Thought I missed how friendly our people are. I really missed it in this hotel especially in front office dept. Restaurant team done a better job at least.
They should’ve known repeater guest better. At least treat them like it’s not their first time. Cos for a first timer guest the treat should be even more welcoming.
Front Office team has failed to deliver a good service.
I complained 3 times about the Aircon. My kids and I have to went bed sweating. Engineering fixed the Aircon but then it’s leaked. I have to asked more than one time for them to just move us to another room. My daughter step on prickle in the bathroom and still hurting until now. I told the Manager or the senior at least that what I saw at the front desk but there’s no gesture of kindness or whatsoever.
I pay the same money to stay here. I really don’t understand why they gave us such a room that not decent for you guys to sell.
Then they gave us a new room.
I thought we can sleep okay and they checked first before they moved us. But NO.
The room doesn’t have a phone inside. So I have to going back and forth from 5th floor to Concierge if I need anything. We couldn’t even order our room dining. Cos maybe they don’t need anymore revenue?

Please. Treat locals better. I might not a government guest. But I do spent money on this hotel and it helps too. We do spent money. Cos my family was staying here for more than a month! Yet they still don’t have a proper system to just recognize a repeater guests!!!

The manager nor the management should’ve known better about this!
