Detailed Reviews
I spent 2 weeks at Yoga Barn. It is in a great location to explore Ubud and close to the supermarket if you need things. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with an eco-friendly awareness of no little bathroom plastics. Generous pots of shampoo and conditioner and local coconut soaps. You are surrounded by lush gardens with nooks to chill and rest up, read, talk to people or snooze after a big class. Yoga Barn is well thought out and well run with friendly, happy staff that want you to have a great time. You are surrounded by music from classes or events and offerings everywhere include you in being a part of a culture that practices gratitude daily. It was a relief not to have to worry about water and buying plastic bottles as there is plenty of clean water available for you to drink and refill your water bottles. The Cafe Kush is fantastic. The food, the staff and the relaxed set up. Easy to meet people there. The staff helped me learn Indonesian and Balinese language so patiently. Staying here allowed me to engage with the hecticness of Ubud at my own pace. A very healing place to stay. Please try to learn some words to make the staff's day. They are so generous in learning everyone's languages so please reward them by saying, Suksma when they help you. I look forward to returning to stay again.

The Yoga barn in Ubud is such a special place. I booked the rejuvenate package and it was great to stay on the property. The room I stayed in (in the Nest) was beautifully designed, light and comfortable. The saltwater pool in front of the rooms was so delicious and the grounds are stunning, with so many plants and places inviting to stay and pause. The breakfast and food in the Kafe is all around delicious, as well as healthy and nourishing.
The staff were very helpful and supportive and organised an airport transfer with one of the staff members, which was 10/10 (I learnt a lot about Balinese culture on the ride).
In terms of location within Ubud, the Yoga barn is relatively well connected to shops and attractions in Central Ubud, which are either in walking distance or a short scooter/Taxi ride away.
The class program (which you can attend as many as you like as part of the package) was absolutely outstanding, every class I attended, from classic Yoga, meditation and relaxation sessions to Salsa and movement classes, were incredible, and expanded my horizon way beyond what I had expected. I also booked a relaxing massage, which was great and the Ecstatic dance on Friday night was a unique experience! I rarely felt so happy and at ease with myself and my surroundings than after my stay here.

I took rejuvenation package 5 days 4 nights. The package including nice hotel room, breakfast, unlimited classes, pool, spa and discount card for yoga barn group restos. Room was calming, nice interior and incredibly they put hanging chair. They have delicious food mostly vegetarian and vegan and they do care about your need. Waiter will ask if you have any food alergic. Yoga teachers was great, you can find many kind of classes here. They have dance, flowing meditation and healing class if you really healing kind of person. If you like energy healing kind of or just curious about tarot, you can find them here. Kush Spa will take you to heaven with their Indian massage. Staffs are friendly and informative, just ask them what you need to know. Thanks for the amazing experience Yoga Barn!😍

The room are clean and not really have a lot of bugs or mosquitoes as I thought in the room even though I was on the ground floor. The room is very convenient to have walking distance to studio and loves the vibes around the surroundings. One thing is not good is the internet speed was not stable, sometimes is really slow , canot connect with Wi-Fi smoonthly. But it does not affect total experience. The staff were also very friendly and helpful whenever I need anything, they will support. Definitely recommend stay in this place if you are yoga practicional and first time at Ubud.

We were very much looking forward to staying at the Yoga Barn as we spent a lot of time there on previous visits in Ubud. Their yoga classes are great and so are their cafe and spa so we were excited about our stay.
I’m told it’s difficult to get a room (we did book two months in advance) and the price is much higher than other nearby hotels.
We were overall quite disappointed with our stay.
The room is very basic to say the least. Tiny twin beds, no chair, nowhere to sit except the bed. Very outdated bathroom. Minimal storage space. Compared to the usual amazing Bali hospitality spirit, the Staff was below average.
The pool? It’s like a large bathtub and it looks dirty. There’s another pool that is hardly ever used for classes but the staff was very reluctant to tell us we could use it.
So basically you pay for the location, for the convenience to be on site. This has disadvantages as well, as it’s very loud. We could hear the classes as if they were happening in the room. Noise very early in the morning (6am or earlier).
We will definitely be back for yoga classes and food at the yoga barn but we will stay elsewhere as we did in the past.
Much nicer accommodation, much nicer staff, nice pools and … much cheaper.
We stayed before the Yoga Barn at the Artini Dijiwa. It’s a 7-min walk to the Yoga Barn and we had a fantastic stay.

Dear Peaceandlove17, Warmest greetings from the Yoga Barn. We are thrilled to hear you had a wonderful time enjoying our classes and savouring our food from Garden Kafe. However, we are genuinely sorry to learn that our guest house room didn't match your expectations. At The Yoga Barn, we offers two distinctive types of guest house accommodations. Our main guest house boasts a minimalistic Indian design, which is scheduled for renovation at the end of January 2024. Alternatively, The Nest guest guest house features a more modern design, located in a quieter part of the Yoga Barn. Our Guest house pool is daily controlled and maintained throughout the day. Additionally, our Watsu pool, a salted water pool with a controlled temperature of minimum 35 degrees is exclusively dedicated to floating yoga and floating meditation. We do encourage our guest to use it after classes or retreat hours maintaining a strict hygiene protocol to not alter the water quality. Feel free to contact gm@theyogabarn.com if there is anything else you would like to share. Love from the yoga Barn team

Had booked for the 3days 2nights retreat package. I had truly enjoyed the experiance at Yoga barn. Its truly a 1 stop center for people wanting to experience yoga classes. It's dynamic and will I'll sure return. The staffs are also very humble and kind. I only wish for the booking process at Yoga barn can be expedited in future. Maybe due to high volume of bookings during the Hari Raya, there was delay in accomodation confirmation. Otherwise... this is a wonderful experiance and the trainers are great. Thank you.

We took Rejuvenated package and stayed at the Nest House. With the serene view, the room has modern design, clean and a comfortable bed.
The package has full day access to array of yoga and meditation classes. We start our day with Morning Flow yoga with Wine Pramiyanti and Power Yoga with Paul Teodo. The Meditation class from Punnu Wasu and Kerry Clancy was such a blissful experience.
The staff was so friendly and helpful, definitely will return.

The Yoga Barn is one of the most beautiful, efficient, relaxing, affordable places I’ve ever stayed at.
The breadth of selection of the classes offered is mind blowing. The quality of the teachers is outstanding.
The food is absolutely delicious and prepared with care and fresh ingredients.
Everyone is respectful, polite, serene and peaceful.
The value we got out of every massage is stellar, so affords and so high quality.the space is fantastic.
You can sit and meditate anywhere. Just today before leaving I discovered the oil next to the reception.
I relaxed in it, enjoying the blissful tranquility while waiting for my Thai massage class.
When you check out you can leave your luggage at the reception and keep exploring until time to head to the airport.
I felt welcomed, cherished and respected in my every interaction with everyone, staff, teachers, guests at the Yoga Barn. And it’s walking distance from anywhere I needed to go.
It is a wellness paradise, I highly recommend it and can’t wait to be back!

Had a wonderful time at the yoga barn! Definitely enjoyed the serene peaceful environment. Everything we needed was found in the property! Loved the class selection, cafe, and the wellness center. The Staff was top notch, always responding within minutes via Whatapp.
Rooms were spacious and clean. The only complaint would be we were not fans of the shampoo and condition in the shower. Loved the hand soap and scented soaps. Also enjoyed the space outside our room to sit and relax.
Highly recommend going for a dip in the salt water pools especially the heated one! Amazing!

Very comfortable bed. Rooms have traditional design and are basic but well equipped. Staff are very friendly too.
Breakfast is included and delicious.
Unbeatable location as you're directly inside the Yoga Barn -- it's literally less than a minute to walk to all the excellent sessions.
