Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love my stay here... stayed 10 days all up. Staff are great. Breakfasts are EPIC! Easy walking distance to centre of town. I was originally on the 3rd floor, corner room with a great view. Then moved down the back by the pool. There's a lovely massage room at the back called Kosi Massage - very modern and clean and Ani is a great therapist - Whatsapp her +62 853 335 565 06

Reflexology with Papa. Wow what a lovely man and fantastic experience, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Spiritual experience for the feet and the soul. Papa is a gentle kind soul and we had a coffee with him after - highlight of the day. Thank-you.

I recently stayed here, and had a fantastic stay. The family who run the hotel were the most friendliest people I have ever met. Welcomed me immediately into their hotel stay and always saying hello. Stayed in room 1, which was beautiful, right next to the pool, just what I needed for a new nights stay. The aircon was the best I have ever had. Bed and pillows were great. Minutes walk to the Ubud market and 15 minutes walk to the monkey forest. A very quiet place to stay. The mini fridge wasn't working - but I didn't need it, and the TV only had 1 channel. You get 2 free mini bottles of water, but can buy more water at reception. Make sure to ask papa for some reflexology..he is very nice. Just have to make a donation. And the painting's are done by him. If I return to Ubud, I will stay here again

Stayed here for 4 nights during Bali travels. Room was clean and spacious with an outdoor seating area. Breakfast was a limited choice/selection but delicious. We had scrambled eggs or pancakes with a side of fresh fruit and coffee. Location was central enough to walk everywhere but on a side street so not massively busy. We had a good sleep every night as it was quiet and air con was brilliant. Place had a nice pool that we didn’t use. They also have scooter hire at a good price and staff are really lovely and helpful. Would recommend staying here if in Ubud.

Nice and familiar place to stay. Just a few minutes from the center of Ubud. All the hosts are very helpful and they will not hesitate in taking us to the airport even at 3 am. Try the bananas pancakes for the breakfast.

I arrived in Ubud to stay at Sandat for the first week of my month long trip to Bali. The family running the homestay was so warm and welcoming. My room was clean, basic(what else did I need anyways?!) and had a great view of the rooftops overlooking Ubud. They had bottled water available in the lobby area for whenever I needed, a pool to cool off and breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and juice. The location was fabulous as this street is right beside all of central streets in Ubud. Great to walk out to dinner, a 15 min walk from the Yoga Barn (where I practiced daily), I always felt safe even when walking out to dinner later at night. All in all super convenient location with spas, laundry and a ton of stores and restaurants near by. The garden was so beautiful and it was a genuinely authentic Balinese stay while i acclimatized. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in central Ubud.

Lovely family run property. They gave me “pocket-money” when all ATMs were shut down for a religious holiday upon arrival. The garden is well-kept with its pond of kois. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, breakfast was included (choice of 5 diff. options). The pool was small but good for dipping in after a day out. It’s centrally located and you can easily reach the main shopping road or the parallel roads through shortcuts. Wifi was unstable and did not work in the rooms.

We stayed here for a week, the staff is kind and helpful, the breakfast was also good. The banana pancake is superB :) The view from our room was awesome, and the pool is also nice, we really enjoyed it. Guests can ask for reflexology therapy, which isn’t have a fixed price, you can choose how much you want to pay for it.

You get what you pay for, it’s very cheap to stay here. The room we had was clean and served its purpose, the AC worked and the fan in the room is a nice touch. The staff can’t be faulted and the location is great. The included breakfast was fine. We were located at the back with the pool right in front of our room & it was nice and quiet.
