The hotel is an absolute dream. We were looking for a small hotel, in the countryside, close to the center and all the sights. We arrived at the Udaya, were given a small welcome drink and a refreshing towel and were immediately taken to our room. We had the suite, for us: super nice, more than adequate and totally relaxing. In the room there was a four-poster bed, a stone bathroom with a bathtub and a balcony with a couch. There were always two bottles of water, which was very important for brushing teeth. If you needed more, that was no problem. The room was cleaned twice a day. The facility: super nice. In the countryside, birds chirping, the water rippling and if you're a spa fan, you can get the best massage there for 90 minutes (for an additional charge). Breakfast is a la carte. Whether it's crêpes, bowls or all kinds of ice cream, there's something for everyone. A small buffet with fruit and pastries and bread is served fresh every morning. If you want dinner, you can eat in the restaurant until 10:30 p.m. There is a shuttle service every hour. The latest return trip is at 21:10.

We spend the first 2 weeks of our honeymoon in Bali in The Udaya Resorts and the experience was incredibly good. We were hosted in a Jungle Pool Suite and it could not be more confortable.
It had AC, a dehumidifier and device to avoid bugs so we had a really confortable environment during the night and we could sleep well. Even if the suite is surounded by jungle and nature, the bugs and lizards did not get into the room. We could see by ourselves that they fumigate frequently. The bathroom is outside so it is normal that they were more bugs on it.
The room is made up twice a day, everytime they set 6 bottles of water.
The whole resort is beautiful and it is really well maintained. The restaurant, the Yoga Hut, the Spa... all the instalations are at a very high level. The staff is also really kind and attentive.
The only small recommendation that we would do to improve is to offer a wider variety in the breakfast. The meals are really tasty and in good amounts but the breakfast offer becomes a little bit short if you have a long stay in the resort.
We take the opportunity to thank all the staff for the great service.

This resort is unmatched in my opinion. Everything from the beautiful grounds to the hospitality. I never once crossed paths with a staff member who did not greet me enthusiastically. Everyone was extremely attentive and I felt so taken care of. Any requests were promptly responded to over chat and by phone, and if you requested something to your room they were always quick, never a wait. I stayed in the duplex villa with a private pool. The room was very well taken care of with cleaning done during the day and an additional turn down service in the evening. I noticed very few bugs, but of course this is a hot country so if can never be completely avoided and I was very diligent about keeping balcony doors closed. I had a floating breakfast 3 times during my stay, because why not! The breakfasts were beautifully set up and really made for a magical experience and some extra pampering. Speaking of pampering, the Kaveri spa was fantastic onsite and the package were totally worth it! The shuttles into town were convenient and always on time. The drive into town varied depending on date and rime, with it definitely being a big lengthy on busy nights. That being said, I chose this resort on purpose to be away from the busy areas and the serenity inside made it all worth it. A special shout out to my airport transfer driver Degus who gave the greatest first impression of the resort. Was absolutely lovely company on the long drive to the hotel. Overall, I am so overjoyed with my choice to stay at this resort. It was definitely and fantastic experience and an amazing introduction to beautiful Bali.

First of all u will pay larger sum then normal around Ubud u expect luxury but very far from that. I would like to point out that the romantic package is not worth it and rather a cheap advertisement. Although you do end up paying alot of money for things that most hotels would do for free as gesture of good hospitality when they come to know it is your honeymoon especially. Welcome drinks and a towel charge for example. We were welcomed with the bill instead and told anything you just paid an extra million for is subject to availability, the towel never came. The hot water didn’t work the first night. Construction noice all day all night. Water in the private pool is extremely cold. I will say the restaurant staff and the spa staff were amazing. The hotel staff on the other hand felt were missing some sort of touch in hospitality. Examples of this would be when setting up the breakfast tray in the private pool, the lady came in without saying good morning she set up and left didn’t even offer to take pictures or asked if we needed anything else. When approached any of the male staff at the reception there was no “service or hospitality “ when you know your guests are on holidays and on a honeymoon you would expect them to atleast suggest any kind of activity. The manager tried to do a service recovery although im left with a sour taste about the property and would definitely not return again.

For the romantic package/ honeymoon package, We have stated clearly in our prices and inclusions as is with no exaggeration on our platform, so that our guests know what to expect when making a booking with us. The welcome drink & chilled towel upon arrival are a part of complementary, hence we didn't charge our guests for that and we did serve it to you during your arrival. We also make sure that all amenities are well-prepared every day in all of our rooms for our guests' convenience. Regards to the noise there was indeed a refurbishment in our Riverside Yoga Hut, but we limited the time of the project which is from the early afternoon to the end of the afternoon, and make sure to have the process monitored so as not to cause too much noise for our guests' comfort. and regards to the pool, unfortunately, the temperature of our pools depends on the weather. Most accommodations in Bali don't use pool heaters as a form of our appreciation to the nature and concern for the environment. We are deeply sorry if you felt a lack of hospitality and assistance from our team during your stay with us. But we have done our best to pay attention to your needs and make you feel welcome. Therefore, we always make sure to ask you about your experience during your stay with us and we also provided the floating breakfast and Celebration of Flowers as complimentary which is not part of your package as an act of our goodwill. Our team is also more than ready to be at your service anytime in case you need any help or suggestions from us. It is truly a shame that you felt your experience with us was still lacking. PROs: I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday and wow did the whole experience far exceed our expectations! We arrived in the evening and had booked the shuttle from the hotel. We had a few errands to run and the driver was patient to wait. We arrived at hotel reception and we greeted so warmly with delicious ice tea, cold towel and beautiful smiles. We arrived quite late but we were able to have dinner there. We arrived to rose petals for my husband’s birthday and received a delicious dessert too. Throughout our 4-day stay, we were treated with the utmost respect, kindness and care. We enjoyed the traditional Balinese food and the conversations we had with the staff. The pool was amazing. We wanted to book tours in advance to which they advised against as the weather is unpredictable. Great advice. We did book two tours with them and our young driver was exceptional - he would explain the culture, take short cuts and advised us on another great ATV experience which became the highlight of our trip. The hotel also negotiated a discount for us. We did the cooking class, and the chef was great along with the food. The 30-minute shuttle from the city centre is convenient. The speedy response on WhatsApp when we needed something even when we outside of the hotel premises was much appreciated. I actually had teary eyes when checking out. Their hospitality really warmed our hearts.
CONs: Guests are noisy around the pool. I would suggest a sign to speak in hush tones or not at all as you can hear from the room. The service at the pool is quite slow, so you have to go upstairs to order at times. I would suggest a one-way WhatsApp group that announces when the shuttle has arrived at the pick up location

The Udaya is 2nd to none! We had an amazing stay here for 7 days. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL! The staff were incredible, everybody was always smiling and attentive, the house keeping was on point, even providing a 'turn down service' in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble ever. The on site restaurant 'Deeva' served fantastic food from breakfasts to evening meals at reasonable prices, and again the staff were great. A special mention must go to Agus, he was brilliant! Smiling, laughing, happy and generally just fantastic. He gave us alot of advice for the area and we really enjoyed his company / conversation whilst he served our 'needs'.
We booked a East Bali tour with the hotel and were lucky enough to have Degus as our driver. This man is great! Super attentive, very informative when visiting the Water Palace and Bat Temple. We really couldn't have asked for anything more.
Overall we can't recommend this hotel enough and if we are ever back in Bali we will be staying here 1000%.

The Udaya Resort and spa is gorgeous. It feels like being in a paradise surrounded by nature, excellent cleanliness, staff always super friendly, welcoming and smiling, perfect food. The swimming pool is fantastic surrounded by greenery, and the spa built in the jungle is spectacular. The Balinese massage and citrus bath experience is unforgettable. People's smiles are always genuine and brighten your days. The room surrounded by greenery, in the garden with fish is unique, large and comfortable bathtub, comfortable shower and large and very comfortable four-poster bed with soft pillows. I love their minimalist style in homes and submerged in the beauty of nature that surrounds them. I love Ubud and this resort. Thanks for everything 🙏

I think it's an arrangement that touches your heart. Everything is perfect, from customer attention to service, from cleanliness to breakfast. The Spa is a marvel, surrounded by greenery with incredible quality. They are all embarrassingly kind. We had the garden suite with direct access to the river with the carp (food available, my almost 3 year old daughter had fun feeding the Koi), huge, clean room with external bathroom equipped with a huge tub and giant shower. A la carte breakfast, with all the good things, very kind waiters with the little girl, very attentive and thoughtful. If I return to Bali it will definitely be my choice. My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Udaya. The hospitality was second to none. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to accommodate any request we had. The location is perfect - just north of the city center and easily accessible by the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service or via Grab. It never took us longer than 10 minutes to into town. The hotel property is well maintained and has a boutique feel of seclusion within the jungle. We highly recommend Udaya to any travelers to Ubud.
