The only real negative would be the lack of space around the pool for relaxing, and only 4 lounges that were often taken up by other guests that used them all day. The pool itself was great though; perfect temperature, clean, and the large ‘beach’ step was great for my son and for relaxing in.
Situated right across the road from the Cat Cafe was a bonus for my son, and we were there most afternoons for a visit and cold drink.
The breakfast was nice with a good selection of freshly cooked/prepared meals.
The rooms alongside the pool or balcony rooms above looked nice and as you would expect in this range but we had one of the rooms above reception and ours was small and cramped with just the one wardrobe. The bathroom lacked any real surfaces to place anything on but the water was always nice and hot and good pressure.
We sprayed our room daily for mossies as they accumulated in the stairway outside these rooms.
Inside the room the daily cleaning was quite minimal. Bathroom and bedroom had squashed mossies from previous visitors and were not wiped off the whole time we were there. Having dropped something and retrieving it from under the bed (2 singles together that left an uncomfortable gap in the middle) there was an accumulation of bottle wrappers, long hairs, thick dust and general dirt.
We would happily stay here but not it these rooms.
The shower took me AGES to work out, one side does hot water and the other cold, like sink taps, except I had never seen that in a shower before, simple once you know how :)
It is a budget hotel with no frills but you get what you pay for and it is very reasonably priced. Bedding and towels are now a little worn but clean nonetheless.
Unfortunately not one but two neighbouring restaurants now have nightly live bands, they were still going strong gone 11pm when we were so exhausted we fell asleep.
If you love live music it's a great place to stay, if you want a restful night, sadly this is not the place for you.
The rooms are dilapidated, stained mattresses and sheets, mold, horrible smell... we had to spend 1 night before flying back, it was not impossible for us to sleep in this place
To flee !!!
The air-conditioning was really good (compared to other hotels)! The pressure of water was good! All the stuff was really friendly and helped with the luggage.
The sea is really close and the journey to the sea is along a nice avenue.
The breakfast was taste and quite big with at least 5 choices.
And across the hotel there is an amassing day spa with yoga classes and massage!
Nesa Hotel is a perfect distance from shopping, the Meme Spa, restaurants and only about 15 mins walking to the beach, so watching the beautiful sunrise over the water was so easy.
We will be staying here again on our next trip to Bali.
