I had the most wonderful stay at Klumpu Bali Resort. I instantly felt home and so welcomed by the warm hearted and genuine staff at the resort. The Villa I stayed in was incredibly beautiful, the architecture felt to unique, and I wished I could stay there forever. The bed was very large and super comfortable. The bathroom had a rain shower, there is also a little kitchenette and there is a free water dispenser in the room, too. There was an amazing diverse breakfast, everything super fresh and prepared with so much care and love. The hotel made me feel so welcome with many free treats, such as the afternoon tea accompanied with a traditional Balinese dessert, and a goodnight chocolate with an inspirational quote and a bottle of water. They have an amazing lagoon pool, with a small waterfall, surrounded by lush jungle like nature, so you feel like being in paradise. I could not recommend this hotel enough, it has been such a fantastic stay, so much so that I extended my stay for two more nights, and promised myself to come back in the future to show it to my mum. :) All the best and thank you so much, dear Klumpu staff.

Klumpu has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at worldwide. It is a small boutique hotel where the staff are completely dedicated to making sure you have the best possible stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, all overlooking the central swimming pool and each with its own front porch area. The breakfasts are excellent and the whole ambience of the place is unique. I cannot say enough about the staff, each of whom seems to have a constant smile on their face and cannot do enough for you. If you are travelling to Bali you should certainly stay at Klumpu - it is quite superb in very respect!

With a only 8 individual units, which are a great design this is the place to spend some quiet time with family or friends. The rooms are large and pretty well self sufficient if you want to cook your own. Great pool outside ones door surrounded by a cooling tropical garden and with plenty of lounge chairs on which to relax . Staff are always so friendly and are happy to please whatever your requests. They have a great little restaurant on site that we ate at twice for evening meals and have snacks available upon request. A lovely afternoon tea is served to you wherever you are. They would serve the best breakfast in Bali by far. A selection from 6 offerings or order as you please. I dare anyone to finish the brilliant continental breakfast. The prices charged for food and drinks are comparable with most places in Bali. The beers are not much dearer than going out and buying them. It is a little walk to the beach but with what they have, there is really no need to leave.

This was another return trip to this beautiful boutique resort and will not be our last! Everything about the Klumpu Resort is wonderful, from the moment you arrive you are made to feel so welcome, the staff are fabulous! The check in process is very smooth, cool flannels are given along with a welcome drink and little snack/cake. The rooms at the Klumpu are very well appointed, they are equipped with everything you could possibly need, they are roomy and spotlessly clean with a turn down service in the evening leaving bottled water by your bedside and chocolates. The restaurant serves delicious food with good sized portions which is quite unusual for Bali and they offer a great range for breakfast too. The gardens are immaculately kept with a spar linking clean pool surrounded by very comfortable sunbeds. The resort itself is tucked away down a side street so it is away from traffic and peaceful yet only a sort walk to the Main Street where there is a wide variety of restaurants, shops and bars. Klumpu is more than simply hotel. This is about real hospitality, comfort and support in any questions.
We stayed in Klumpu three times during our traveling around Bali.
Klumpu provides a lot of features for the outstanding experience. You can choose delicious breakfast and they consider all your wishes. At 4-5 pm they propose to drink a cup of tea or coffee as a compliment.
Bicycle was our love , because we could easily explore Sanur, reach any place what we want , go to the beach. Our kid was really excited every time about the bicycle trip.
A lot of good memories are connected with our stay in Klumpu.
If you ask about the best place with a good service , good location (10 mins walk to the Sanur beach), nice people , delicious food we definitely answer Klumpu.

We love everything about the resort. Since we arrived, everything was great.
From the pick up transport, the welcoming at the reception, our 2 nights stay, till we checked out.
Loving the hospitality so much, you should she the smile of the woman in the reception, so sincere and heart warming. If you need anything, just text them and they will respond it immediately.
They clean our room everyday, the brekfast are fantastic, should try their "nasi goreng", so gooodd.. And also their signature burger "klumpu burger", worth every cents.
Since it only contain of 8 villa, you will have all the privacy you need. And the pool is right in the center of the resort so it is easy to entertain the kids while we are enjoying our time just sipping our tea or coffee and having the afternoon snacks provided by the resort..
And dont forget to go biking, they have a lot of bike in multiple sizes to cater everyone and all are in good shapes.
Location is one of the best, nearby there are a lot of stores n restaurants. The beach is walking distance..
Surely will come back..

An incredible little resort tucked away from the main street. Accommodation is stunning with beautiful quality fittings and features. Staff are very attentive and discreet nothing is too much trouble. free bike hire , complimentary massage and daily room turn down. Amazing breakfasts included and served either in your bungalow poolside or dining area. The pool is spotless, with fresh towels replenished frequently. My only issue was the loud family with 3 unruly young children who were insensitive to the style of accommodation that it is. They ran riot throughout for 24 hours. Staff were gracious with them, but I'd suggest if your kids are high energy, stay elsewhere. You will not be popular with other guests who are all low key travellers looking to decompress.

What can I say, this hotel is wonderful. We stayed here on our last visit to Bali and when we planned to go back, we thought "why stay anywhere else". Your "villa" is huge, the bed is so comfortable and the staff are friendly and very efficient. The breakfast just sets you up for the day. And the pool is superb for topping up the tan. Klumpu is within easy walking distance of "everything" you need, places to eat and drink, the beach is around 10 mins away (if that). You feel very comfortable and safe (and happy) from the moment you arrive. If you like feeling special when you go on holiday, this is the place for you

What bliss to wake up surrounded by tropical plants, a swim in the pool, followed by breakfast (a choice of 4 mains, plus, fruit, fresh juice and hot drink. I can recommend the Balinese coffee). The turn down service each night was better than most 5 star hotels. The rooms were immaculately clean. My only suggestion would be to have a ceiling fan in the room as an option over air con.
The free bikes were great to explore Sanur and a massage the perfect way to unwind before our flight home. (2 x 15 minute massage vouchers are included)

We had a fabulous time at Klumpu. The location is excellent - walking distance to Main Street and the beach. The staff were fantastic, as was the food including the breakfast, daily afternoon tea and turn down chocolate service. Our accommodation was a hut in the traditional Balinese style, basic but clean, very well presented and had everything we required for 3 kids and 2 adults. The second room was accessed via a ladder which was a bit dangerous for young children but the kids came away unscathed and thought it was much fun! The pool and the gardens were beautiful and in a lovely tropical setting and were regularly maintained during our stay. I would also highly recommend the welcome massage. I would definitely stay again at Klumpu and hope to in the not too distant future!

We booked through Expedia and had zero problems.
The resort is small and beautifully maintained, and the staff are lovely. Its also in a great location. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!
My friends arrived at 1 am. They were picked up at the airport by Klumpi, and even were made a welcome drink, (nonalcohol). The desk staff do go home, but when they know your itinerary, they will be there to set you up.
There are more places to choose from in the Sanur area.
