The hotel is super convenient for access to and from Sanur Port. The hotel has quite a grand outlook, has a large number of rooms, and spacious common areas including lobby and bar. However, keep in mind that it is a very old
Construction and the rooms have a dated feel are in serious need of renovation. Only used this as an overnight layover option for an early morning transit from Sanur for which it served the purpose well. The staff are really nice, humble, and helpful people. Would recommend for a short stay, while it is also good value for the money. Below is the detailed review:

Location: This hotel is located at a 40 minute drive from Airport, 11 minute walk to the Sanur Port, while a 1 hour drive to Pedang Bay port in central Bali. The Sanur beach is also close by. There are a couple of fast food outlets right outside the hotel as well.

Rooms: Rooms are very dated & basic. The bed is very low and old. However there are power outlets for charging on both sides but again they are old school and require an adapter if you are an international traveler. The phone in the room is very old but works. There was a couch in the room and that can practically sleep one adult. The room had a fridge, electric water kettle, and some tea/coffee sachets. There was a safe which was also pretty old. Enough closet space but no doors to it.

Bathroom: The bathroom was also equally dated. The door had lock styles from 1990s. The wash basin, and toilet seat are yellowish white, and so were the towels. The bathroom had a bad stench too. The good part was that toiletries were fixed in the bathroom including bath soap near sink as well as body wash and shampoo in the shower area. The shower curtain had also turned yellow. Water pressure was good though.

Facilities: The swimming pool is more lengthy and curved, not ideal for swimming. The hotel in itself was super clean. The common use bathrooms are very modern and new but very smelly. The hotel overall is super clean. They have luggage storage facility which is extremely useful as we safely stored our luggage with the hotel for 3 days.

Staff: wonderful people, always have a smile, and are ready to help you all the time. We interacted with them at odd hours and found them to be equally helpful at all hours.

We're glad to hear that you found our location convenient, especially for access to Sanur Port, and appreciated our spacious common areas and helpful staff. The Bowl Room at the Prime Plaza Hotel is the perfect venue for special events such as graduation. The room is spacious and elegant, with a modern interior design that presents luxurious nuances but remains warm. During graduation, the room was arranged very neatly and professionally, creating a vibrant and happy atmosphere.

The hotel staff was very satisfying. They are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, from welcoming guests to ensuring the needs of each participant are met. The table and chair layout is made comfortable for guests, giving enough space to move and interact.

The lighting and sound system in the Bowl Room also deserves a thumb. The soft yet bright lighting makes the atmosphere feel warm, while the audio system produces a clear sound during the event.

The food served was also excellent. The dishes available have a delicious taste with a varied menu, suitable for all tastes.

Overall, the experience of using the Bowl Room at the Prime Plaza Hotel for the graduation ceremony was very satisfactory. Beautiful rooms, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere make graduation moments an unforgettable memory.

They were willing to rebook our one night stay a day later because of flight delays before we got to Bali instead of making us pay an extra night. That really helped us out instead of paying for another night that we didn’t even stay. Staff so far are very friendly and kind. Right as you arrive they play beautiful music for you and help you out with your luggages and take them to your room for you. Check in was no hassle. The floor layout is quite confusing at first because the lobby is on the 2nd floor and the restaurant (where you get your complimentary breakfast) is on the first floor. I got lost but rest assured the staff were kind enough to direct me to the lobby.

We are only staying a night but will more than likely stay here again. Heads up that the food and drinks is a bit more expensive than we thought (only having 1000 CAD for a week’s stay in Bali) but that’s our fault for not being prepared for the extra expenses.

Room service was easy and straight to the point, you just have to hit #6 on the telephone and order it up and they’ll bring it up for you. We ordered beer and a mango daiquiri which is worth a try.

I recommend getting a pool room view, the pool is gorgeous. We have still yet to jump in in the morning as we arrived and got settled late.

Make sure you tip tip tip the workers during your stay!

We found the hotel large and impersonal. The rooms are located along very long corridors which enhances this feeling. We would get for our family two adjacent rooms but there appeared to be about 400 meters walking distance between them....The maintenance of the rooms leaves something to be desired but it is clean. The beds we found not comfortable and the bathroom is very small. The pool is beautiful but not really suitable for swimming laps because of the shape. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and good. The beach is close but really nothing so if you want a hotel close to the beach then you better choose another hotel. Also the location relative to nice restaurants is not good, it takes you about 20 - 25 minutes walk.

A very well located hotel:
Beaches
Small stores
Large shopping center accessible via the beach
Port
The food is very good and variable with 2 restaurants, one typical and one more European.
The swimming pool is large but shallow with often shade but the temperature is pleasant not cold
The staff service is excellent both in the restaurants and by the pool
The rooms are clean, the only negative point is on the upper floors there is no outdoor dryer so the swimsuits and clothes do not dry quickly
A very pleasant hotel
Breakfast very very large in terms of choice

Wow! What an amazing hotel! Friendly helpful staff and an absolutely beautiful resort. I felt cared for and comfortable after I had a surgery on my eyes and stayed for 12 nights at the hotel .  The food was excellent and very well priced and service and variety in the bars and restaurants was exceptional. The gardens and pool are stunning and the pool temperature was perfect and kept so clean. My room was large and comfortable with easy access to the foyer and pool area so easy to get around despite me having limited vision after my surgery. I found it so easy to get to the beach straight from the resort down a short street and onto the paved beach walk along the whole of Sanur with countless restaurants ad bars but the hotel also has a free shuttle bus that drops you right down to the beachfront in the main part of town multiple times a day. I also used taxi or Grab drivers very easily to get to where ever needed for less than a few dollars. I also visited the Spa and had wonderful luxury treatments at an extremely reasonable price, with lovely kind therapists.  I  would not hesitate to stay here again and I am planning a return visit with friends again this year. this is a true 4 star resort and I was so glad I chose to stay here!

I am solo traveller and it was a good choice to stay 9 nights in this hotel, doing different trips aroung the island.

Positive: very, very clean, excellent location- close to the beach, port and town. Spacious rooms with nice view, always fresh water in bottles, kettle, amenity kit in the bathroom, soft towels. Clean pool, flowers everywhere, a lot of trees and flowers around. The breakfast is amazing, I never found such enormous choice of tropical fruits, juices, pastry, other food - 5 stars for the breakfast. Also the coffe is amazing, particularry caramel coffee. As I had H/B I also had a dinner in hotel. It was very tasty, served nice, fine dining. The choice for dinner is reduced from main menu, so I had to repeat some dishes, having 9 dinners here. Very, friendly hotel staff, Mrs. Morgens always with a huge smile was waiting in the restaurant. Excellent internet connection.

Negative: For me, the pillows were to high and to hard; I asked for a smaller and softer pillow, but they didn´t have one. No late check out: you can only buy extra hours in your room if you have late pick up, 100.000 IDR /hour (6 €). Once you are our of your room and checked out - you have no more Internet connection in the hotel lobby. Generally, I felt very nice there, I could recommend and probably go again.

This Hotel is BIG, large empty hallways, with hollow corridors. The hotel was mostly empty, but I could not help but think what kind of nightmare it would be if it was full. It takes a while to go from the Lobby to your room. The room itself is nothing to write home about, but its clean and somewhat spacious. There is no much furniture in the room and the decor is lacking, the bathroom is fully functional, but the water in the sink did not drain properly. There were no bad smells in the room, the bed and pillows were rock hard. Did not turn the TV on during my stay, A large bottle of water is provided daily, that was a nice touch.
My main issue with this hotel:
Sauna, Jacuzzi and gym close at 9PM!!
Breakfast is pretty much the same daily, with horrible fake juice, upon asking I was told that if I wanted real juice there would be an extra charge.
Overall this place gets a solid C.
