We had a family room. We had our 14 year old, and my 75 year old mother in law with us. The room was clean and fresh-no musty smell like you sometimes find in Indonesian hotel rooms. The place was quiet, a number of little pools around. The restaurant on the beach was perfect, not a huge selection, but it was all yummy. Breakfast was ok.
The TV in the master didn’t seem to work, we didn’t bother because we had devices.
The area was perfect, on the beach and able to walk to the little market, lots of restaurants etc. out in the street they had good shops and restaurants plus a supermarket.
The hotel asks that you not bring plastic onsite, they offer reusable bags and a big filtered water and some glass bottles to refill.
Staff were lovely and in 2 Occassions we left my mother in law home for the day when she wasn’t feeling that well and wasn’t up to a day at waterbom. I asked staff to check on her and make sure she was comfortable and they were great.

We stayed here for three nights in the 'Honeymoon Suite', Room 129. The room was fantastic; large, and had a second day bed as you enter the Suite, hot water, comfy bed, good wifi, great aircon, a large water dispenser, good fridge and very comfortable plantation chairs to sit on in the evening sipping your drink. The best thing was its proximity to the beach swimming pool (30 meters) and the Beach and front Cafe (50 m), wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and it was quiet. Each room is cleaned and disinfected daily and there are plenty of hand washing stations around. t was quiet, restful and we would go back in a moment. There is a Warung directly outside and little bit along the Beach to the South and plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Unfortunately the Hotel has been hit hard by COVID and is just getting back on its feet. As a result the restaurant is only open for (a very nice breakfast) from 08am until 4pm; but they serve ice cold beer and a great Mojito. Help them out, stay here . We'll be back.

This is a good place to stay with younger kids, it has a three smaller swimming pools two near the reception, one on the beach side. The restaurant area is also right on the beach with a beautiful view and often a nice sea breeze. Facilities are a bit dated but considering the price quite acceptable. I would recommend a honeymoon suite, , close to the beach and restaurant + view. Breakfast is OK if you are not staying to long; they have the same breakfast choice every day, which after a while becomes a bit boring, they do a mean nasi goreng though! Plenty of good restaurants, spa, shops etc nearby. Across the road a new gym just opened.

We visited Peneeda View during a very quiet time when the corona virus was was happening.
It appeared the resort had been completely neglected, weeds and long grass around the pool, very old sun lounges that looked dirty and old and just a depressing atmosphere around the entire place.
We didn't mind the old style rooms, as we knew what we booked, but what ended up making us check out after not even one night was, absolutely no hot water, after trying several hours later still nothing, almost no water pressure, and the aircon hardly worked.
The staff were nice and offered us a different room, but we just wanted to go somewhere with a happier vibe.
We payed for one night and were refunded our other 4 nights.
For the same price we stayed down the rd at a very nice resort.

Family of 4, children 10 and 15 . Loved the accom , traditional casual Balinese, we had a family room 2 bedrooms adjoining , ground floor with a huge bathroom couldn’t have been happier . Large pool beautiful gardens , no loud music , beach restaurant . We have stayed in Sanur before and we would stay at Paneeda view again . We did not eat dinner in the restaurant as we preferred the night market . Breakfast was good and the view is stunning

This is not a 5 star resort, do not go expecting a 5 star resort!

However, this hotel was clean, the room was serviced beautifully every day, the AC was cold and we never had an issue with the hot water system. As other reviews have said, the shower does need to run for a bit of time on hot to get warm, but once the water is running hot, it’s a lovely warm shower. The staff were friendly, location was fantastic with plenty to see and do both street side and beach side, and I loved the hotels ecological philosophy. We had a large water dispenser that was replaced as needed and glass water bottles to refill from the dispenser to store in our fridge. We had brought our own reusable shopping bags from home but the hotel does supply them if required. Three pools to choose from, but our kids favourite was the family pool up by reception. We could always grab one or two pool chairs at that pool. Sure, they could do with an upgrade, but once you pop your towel on the lounger, it make no difference.

We are a family of 5 and booked a family room with an extra bed which was accommodated by the hotel. It was a bit cozy in the kids room with 3 beds, but we have no complaints. We simply used the room for sleep and bathroom needs. It was a fantastic holiday and we will love to return one day.

My husband and I are staying at the Peneeda at the moment in a private Villa (number 103). We love it and can’t fault it. It is an older property but the rooms are very spacious and decorated in the old Bali style. Our Villa has been cleaned beautifully with fresh bed linen and towels daily. Bathroom is huge with a massive walk in shower room ( it just takes a while for the hot water to come through but great temperature when it does). The grounds are beautiful and the 3 pools are clean and a pleasure to swim in, some days we’ve had a pool to ourselves, other days maybe 1 or 2 other couples, but always pretty quiet and plenty of room. The Sun loungers could probably do with a clean or replacing but totally useable. Location is perfect and we love being able to go straight onto the boardwalk and beachfront. We call it ‘our oasis of calm’ as it is so peaceful and tranquil and would highly recommend.

Lovely old style hotel great for the price right on the beach, clean rooms older style furniture and gardens not 5 star but I like the old Bali style rooms, cleaned everyday. Pools x3 clean and inviting. Staff are amazing great restaurants on Main Street and beach (little walk) hubby and I have enjoyed the atmosphere and hotel at this little gem. If you want 5 star and are use to 5 star this gem may not be for you. They run solar hot water, give you a large water tank to refill glass bottles everyday, prefer no plastic bags but do supply you with a great shopping bag they are trying to do right by the environment. We have had a lovely stay here

This family-friendly hotel is also perfectly suited to a retired couple like us. The entire staff is truly and warmly welcoming and helpful without being unctuous. We usually stay in one of the front rooms closest to the ocean and they are beautiful, comfortable and kept very clean. The gardens are a pleasure to walk through. Breakfast can be a la carte or included and is delicious. The lunch/dinner menu is limited but their nasi goreng is scrumptious. Swimming in the sea is literally steps from the beachside restaurant and is lovely, especially at high tide. We have stayed here several times and it always feels like coming home.

We visited this hotel on a day trip last year and decided to stay for 4 nights this year and it didn't disappoint ... Very quiet and peaceful surroundings and the seaside side cottages were lovely.
Staff were so friendly and everything that's needed is at your doorstep

Hi do they have lots of sun beds of the beach. From the photo I can only see 3. Thanks

I would swerve the breakfast to be honest - can get much better value on the road. The jazz place at the top of the road on the right serves great coffee & amazing shakshouka - can’t remember about vegan options though. Worth staying at Paneeda View though

Can’t recall seeing any two storey. Think it’s all on ground level. They are sure to be able to provide single beds.

Hi There are no 2 storey cottages they are separate accomodations, one unit downstairs and one upstairs. There was no sofa in our downstairs unit but we had single beds quite comfy. That was my experience

The pools at Peneeda are nicely set out and you have a couple ... lovely gardens with bean bags also ... the beach near there is a little bit hit and miss ... but that's Sanur's beaches in general .. very tidal and a little rocky
