Actually is was my first time stayed at this hotel. I stayed here for 1 night. 2 minutes to lovina beach by foot. Cheap price .. The location is perfect, the pool is lovely and the staff was very helpful. Would certainly visit again.

This is quite a cheap hotel for what you get. The pool is absolutely amazing. I used it all the time, even in the night. It's great to cool down a bit. The rooms would need some maintenance. They are a bit outdated. The bathroom was not very clean too but I guess that's why it is so cheap. WiFi is great but only in the public areas. In my room (38) I didn't get WiFi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd go back there again but I'd take a room a bit closer to the pool because of the WiFi.

We arrived in Lovina having booked another place for 7 nights and staying just for one (see other review). Around sunset of our first day in Lovina my wife, her son and I went looking for somewhere with some luxury features to move into within the area of Lovina. We tried a couple of places each did not have any accommodation for continious 6 nights and we were recommended to ask at Angsoka. We met Bob on reception who told us he had two rooms that may meet our requirements and took us on a tour of the facility and the available rooms. The first room was an older room and would have been fine, but then Bob showed us the second room and it was like WOW this is what we are looking for. It was luxurious over two floors with a reasonable kitchen, large fridge, good amenities, two TVs with Sat for each and most importantly good quality airconditioning on both floors. We were sold and would move in at 9am the following day. We were all very happy with this, cool for wife, quality for all and TV with Sat for our son. We moved into room 45. The staff had added a matress on the floor of the ground floor for our son. Our room is at one end of the facility and is very quiet with very little passing foot traffic. The room is very new (as I write is not listed on their booking page) and very clean. The location of the facility is great and from the entrance near our room was only a few meters from the shopping/food etc street and about 100 meters from the dolphin statue and beach. The pool is very good and the gardens are well looked after. The staff are all good, friendly and very helpfull. As noted elsewhere the breakfast is average at best and rooms 45 - 49 have upgraded breakfasts, but still not great and the restaruant staff seem to get it all wrong quite often, but will correct the error with a smile. Angsoka has rooms for any budget and at the top end are well worth the money paid. Negatives are not many, the room was not every day, but most days (seemed random). One day we did not get toilet paper and had to ask for extra and like everything at Angsoka was provided with a smile. Maybe this is more of a western idea, but the 3 door keys (front, top of stair and upstair room) all had different keys, common keys would be good so only need to carry one key when out of the room (very minor issue). Positives are many. Quality and quiet A/C. Comfortable bed. Good TV's. Fridge that works well. Front loader washing machine. Comfortable furniture. Pool. Drink prices. etc. I would be more that happy to go back to Lovina and stay at Angsoka, once word gets around about rooms 45 - 49 they will be booked early.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2 rooms (older kids in one room, us and the baby in another room next door). I think we had standard rooms. I found the rooms to be very basic, but clean and comfortable, and they had air conditioning. Both rooms had a shower and a bath. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of sun lounges around the pool. The pool also has a shallow kiddy area (about knee deep), which was handy as my husband was sick so the kids and I spent a lot of time around the pool. The pool is great. Good value for money, great for a short stay when you just need a bed, a cool room to retreat to and a pool. It's very close to the beach too, and there are some great restaurants near the beach.

We were conned by our taxi driver and ended up there. It was my birthday and staying there depressed me beyond imagination. The room was dirty, rats noise in the attic, pool area deserted and breakfast appalling. The worst birthday night ever!

Stayed 4nights. Got the aircon room. The room is basic but clean. There is a small outside porch to sit, smoke, dry clothes and feed mosquitoes. The hotel has a lovely and we'll maintained garden and grounds. Pool us decent size. Location us great, 5 min to beach, near shops and restaurants., but located on a quiet side street. Breakfast is basic. But for the price this place is good value.

We spent 1 night here with 3 friends The place is well located. The garden is nice. Quiet but close to shops restaurants and beach. The son of owner was very friendly and professionnal. I recommand Angsoka to.people are looking for serenity and simplicity. Rooms were very clean.

This is an old hotel, so if you're looking for recently renovated rooms with solid, modern equipment you better go somewhere else. The rooms are clean, have enough space to spend a couple of days, a small terrace with table and chairs, a comfy bed, good working AC, hot shower and a bathtub. Some of the rooms have a strong WiFi signal, some others are too far from the hot spots, but WiFi is free in all public aeas (pool and Restaurant). The very friendly staff clean the rooms every day, change bed sheets and towels. Angsoka has a beautiful garden and a big well maintained pool. The restaurant offers a good choice for breakfast, western or indonesian style and several simple meals for lunch or dinner. There's a security on duty all night, a spa next to the pool with very skilled staff and a variety of typical Balinese treatments, all for a very reasonable price. There are several budget rooms with fan and cold water and a few fancy luxurious ones in the newly built annex, with TV and modern furniture. IMHO best value are the bungalows in front and behind the pool, the bigger ones in the back of the garden are more quiet, but there's no internet connection. The famous Dolphin Beach of Lovina with a little nightmarket, where you can eat authentic local food, enjoy cold drinks and watch beautiful sunsets, is just 2 minutes walk away. There is a free private parking lot for cars and motorbikes. The staff at the frontdesk speaks English very well and is very helpful with booking of tours, car or motorbike rentals and all kinds of useful information about the north of Bali

Spacious bungalow in fairly large complex with a large pool in centre. On site restaurant doing a good breakfast (didn't try other meals - very handy for a range of bars & restaurants), Massage parlour and bar adjacent to pool. Beach close by but hotel pool far better!

Central... 3 min from beach. Room with air conditioning, hot water by the pool with breakfast for 18 dollars. There are rooms with fans and no hot water for 10 dollars, Friendly staff and quiet setting.
