Stayed at the Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua for six nights while attending conferences at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre. Was accommodated in a partial sea view room as a Bonvoy Titanium, and offered nightly drinks and light bites at the RBar in place of a lounge. The Ren provided great service, including its fleet of in house on call vehicles. The room, spa, and other hotel facilities were new and stylish. The two onsite restaurants (LionX and Tanah Liat) had exceptional food. Even though Backstage was crowded during breakfast hours, staff were quick to move the crowd.
While the Ren is in a peaceful location in the hills, it has a private beach shared with the Courtyard and several other hotels with a regular if infrequent shuttle, although the bell desk was happy to arrange for off-schedule transfers. One possible improvement would be to provide elite status guests with free area transfers.
Looking forward to returning. This is a good option for a balance between sun/sand and rest/relax.

The room is of decent size and is maintained daily. There are three pools on site, and I chose the one in the center for its usual tranquility. The surrounding gardens and green areas are meticulously kept. With three restaurants on the resort, there's ample dining options. Breakfast features three main stations: egg, Indian, and Asian, along with a selection of fruits, cheeses, and a fresh juice station. Not a lot of options in the meats area.
Daily activities such as yoga, various classes, dancing lessons, and neighborhood mini tours are available daily. The gym is well-kept and decently equipped. All the staff i came in contact with were helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
However, the beach, accessible via a shuttle bus running hourly, was disappointing. It's a small area with a bar, and the water and beach cleanliness leave much to be desired, though this seems to be a common issue along the strip.

Last night, I spent an unforgettable evening at the R Bar in the Renaissance Nusa Dua Resort, Bali. Despite initially feeling down, my experience here completely uplifted my spirits.
Firstly, I must express my gratitude to the manager, Ni Ketut Suli, for her warm welcome and professional service. Her attentiveness made me feel truly at home, as she listened carefully and provided thoughtful recommendations.
The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the skill of the three bartenders, Bayu, Dibua, and Billy. Their craftsmanship is truly impressive, with each cocktail showcasing unique flavours and creativity. Bayu's "Tropical Mojito" was refreshingly delightful, perfectly blending Balinese citrus fruits. Dibya's "Spiced Coconut Martini" expertly combined local spices and coconut, offering a surprisingly wonderful taste experience. Billy's "Classic Old Fashioned" was also remarkable, with its rich aroma and lasting finish.
In this cosy environment, I not only enjoyed exquisite drinks but also found solace in the relaxed atmosphere, leaving all worries behind. The service and quality at R Bar are undoubtedly top-notch, making it a place I would return to anytime.
I highly recommend R Bar to anyone visiting Bali. This bar not only offers fantastic beverages but also has a warm and professional team that makes you feel incredibly welcome and cared for.

My stay for 3 days and 2 nights at the Renaissance Nusa Dua was a great experience other than an unfortunate breakfast experience at Backstage restaurant.
Some of the things I appreciate whilst staying at The Renaissance:
1. Front Office
I booked a room with garden view, but when I checked in to the room I realized the mentioned “garden view” was a view of the parking lot. I communicated this issue I had with the front office manager / supervisor, and they kindly helped me by upgrading my room to one with a better view, even though I had to wait 30-40 minutes. I really appreciated this gesture.
2. Spa
I have tried countless of hotel spa and I can say with confidence my spa experience at the Renaissance is one of, if not the best experience I’ve had. The service was amazing from the reception to the therapists (Mbak Ari). Truly a wonderful relaxation experience. Keep up the good work.
3. Dinner at LionX
LionX is a chinese restaurant with modern oriental decoration. Again, the food and service was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there and would consider going again. A slight feedback though If I could give any is that I think the mix vegetable could do with less ginger.
As I have previously mentioned the only unfortunate experience I had was during breakfast at Backstage. The food was great but the service was dreadful.
At the first day, I was having breakfast alone and suddenly a waiter bump into the empty chair at my table, maybe because they were rushing, but what I found to be quite rude was the fact that waiter acted like the table was empty, completely dismissing me by not apologizing. After that, when I just finished my glass of juice, without my permission and looking at my direction my glass was taken away.
During the second day, I ordered pure orange juice but what I got was orange juice which was clearly diluted in ice and water. They used one orange only for the juice and fill the rest of the glass with water.
Overall for the food was enjoyable but these minor inconveniences definitely took away from the experience.

The hotel itself is lovely and the room was okay, the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
However, we booked a swim up pool room which said were available and were being sold by the hotel so we booked it but 3 days before our trip we had a message from the hotel saying it wasn’t available as the room wasn’t even built!!! Too late to change any of our plans. So we got downgraded to a smaller room with a consolation of one night meal free.
This leads onto the food which is to be questioned. After the first night of eating, the kitchen seemed to be in chaos, then the day after we had to stay in the room for the day as we became ill (tummy bug) and then when we felt better we tried to eat again and the same illness came upon us. My girlfriend had to stay in bed for 2 days!!!
This comes after us being in total good health, the whole time was spent wondering are we going to become ill if we eat!
The breakfast buffet, none of the food was covered allowing flies etc to land on it and the same with the pastry section. Think something needs to be done here personally just from a hygiene point of view so to avoid people coming here and experiencing what we did!
We were meant to be celebrating just becoming newly engaged but the illness situation from the food completely ruined our stay, instead of enjoying ourselves we were just staying within 5 feet of a toilet!
All in all lovely hotel, lovely staff but food situation needs to be sorted out, need to not be selling rooms that aren’t even ready and i will NOT be recommending to friends & family.

This is an exceptional hotel/resort from its 10/10 staff to its 10/10 restaurants and pool areas the staff are exceptional friendly knowledgable seem to remember your names can’t do enough for you we are well travelled around the world and we must say this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in in 45 yrs of travelling around the world.
The restaurant food is top quality and for Europeans this hotel offers fantastic value for money the prices compared with the local restaurants nearby. They run a shuttle bus to the hotels private beach every hour where there is a bar and you can get snacks costed back to your room (if I was to be picky about something it would be the toilets on the beach area could be better for the quality of this hotel)
We would 100% recommended this hotel as its affordable luxury and we can’t wait to return . Thank you to all the staff at the hotel especially to the girls at the reception bar .

The reviews persuaded us to stay at this hotel which wasn’t directly on the beach, and we are so glad we did! What an amazing experience. My partner and I stayed 5 nights and we were blown away by the attentiveness and friendly staff, the attention to detail regarding the little luxuries provided throughout the hotel rooms and facilities and the food, the food is super tasty. A special shout out to Bimo our bar tender, he is an absolute legend and gentleman and made our stay extra special. Boss man Bimo, we’ll be back in 6 months to do it all over again.
A few helpful tips.
Shuttle to the beach starts at 10am, get the first shuttle as it gets hot and at this time the shuttle is typically empty. The private beach club is amazing and will get rid of any guests who are not staying at the hotel. They provide towels, beach beds, there’s a bar with drinks and nibbles and there’s a private shower on-site. There is a clean public toilet close by also.
The gym is really good, they provide towels, water and in the fridge are juices. And the jacuzzi with steam room and sauna are also really good and well worth a daily visit.

Well I'm writing this review as the music from the New Year's Party is blaring from the pool. We are staying at the Villas, as we are Marriott Vacation Club Members. When we say blaring, we mean you can her the boom box shaking the sliding doors in the rooms. And we just checked-in today.
We called reception, they said it's New Year's, and the music will be going till 3 am! While I was on the phone, the whole time my 8-month old infant was crying at the top of his lungs as he is unsettled by the music.
We were here last year, had a few hickups but the management made it right. So we decided that we spend a 'quiet' New Year's Eve here, well not quite what we expected.
Yes we are all about live and let live, but if you are going to throw a party like this, one that will disrupt the general environment of the whole resort, don't you think that as patrons we should be given a choice to either arrive a day late or look at another property for our holidays?
If you are seeking a party then this is perfect, get hammered over midnight and walk up to your room when you are done partying. What about us with families (and with young ones) for that matter?
What would have made it 'fair' is, if this was announced during our booking. No different when a resort puts up a disclaimer if they're renovating, or the pool is not available for use during certain dates. Then we would have been able to make a decision on what best suits us. This party was put on us. We didn't appreciate that.
Not against having parties guys, but it feels like we've been robbed of a night that we did not plan for. We wished we would have stayed somewhere else for New Year's Eve, or just fly in a day later. I'm 100% sure we are not the only one that feels this way.
Hey even if the party lasts till midnight after the countdown, but 3 am? I guess we have another 3.5 hours to go with a crying baby before we could have some rest. Whoever had this idea for the boom box pool party obviously does not appreciate why people come to a resort in the first place? Total disconnect.
We have another two weeks to go at the resort. What a great start to a holiday.

Just wanted to say how impeccable our stay was at the Renaissance hotel We have travelled many places before but never received such an amazing exclusive customer service! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We felt so special and welcomed. Place was really nice, new hotel with amazing variety of pools, great gym and luxurious spa They had an entertainment for kids which our son just loved, every day was a different program. There was also an animation program for adults, which gave a great vibe to the holiday. We felt so safe there, that we could leave our son in the pool and he would find his way back to the room. Also, Staff at the restaurant was so attentive and friendly. We had lots of good fresh meals that we enjoyed very much And I must highlight the manager, was the best person there, went above and beyond to meet all our needs. To the point, where we got to try different variety of dim sum’s freshly made for us . They remembered what were our choices and what we liked. Every day we felt so welcomed and special. Even when I made a mistake and didn’t understand the price of the product, they handled it very well I felt so grateful for their understanding of my mistake. Very professional. Any request we could possibly have was met with high standard. Our flight was early and staff prepared take away boxes. They knew what we liked for breakfast and made it specially for us. We had two bags of food, we didn’t expect that at all. We have really great time there and can recommend to everyone We will be back again, for sure. Such a great memories and holiday.
