The reviews persuaded us to stay at this hotel which wasn’t directly on the beach, and we are so glad we did! What an amazing experience. My partner and I stayed 5 nights and we were blown away by the attentiveness and friendly staff, the attention to detail regarding the little luxuries provided throughout the hotel rooms and facilities and the food, the food is super tasty. A special shout out to Bimo our bar tender, he is an absolute legend and gentleman and made our stay extra special. Boss man Bimo, we’ll be back in 6 months to do it all over again.

A few helpful tips.

Shuttle to the beach starts at 10am, get the first shuttle as it gets hot and at this time the shuttle is typically empty. The private beach club is amazing and will get rid of any guests who are not staying at the hotel. They provide towels, beach beds, there’s a bar with drinks and nibbles and there’s a private shower on-site. There is a clean public toilet close by also.

The gym is really good, they provide towels, water and in the fridge are juices. And the jacuzzi with steam room and sauna are also really good and well worth a daily visit.

We had a wonderful stay for 3 nites. All staffs are very accomodating and willing to help in anyway they can. That distinguish the hotel from others. Room is good, with pool view, good space, modern furniture, big tv, good size balcony and clean outdoor furniture. The downside is the open view bathroom and bathtub, but they have curtain to close it.
Love the shelf for storage. And dining table. Have 3 pools, many resort activities. Shuttle to beachclub every hour.
The crew in beachclub also wonderful. But the menu is lacking, hope they will improve the menu variation.
Room cleanliness can be improved and they are speedy in taking the action when we give feedback.

We enjoyed our sharing and discussion with Navigator Edi, who is knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. Excellent service!

Room for improvement will be adding on more menu variation for in room dining, resto and pool.

The bonvoy member wont give us discount for spa and in room dining. But thats ok for us.

Stayed at the Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua for six nights while attending conferences at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre. Was accommodated in a partial sea view room as a Bonvoy Titanium, and offered nightly drinks and light bites at the RBar in place of a lounge. The Ren provided great service, including its fleet of in house on call vehicles. The room, spa, and other hotel facilities were new and stylish. The two onsite restaurants (LionX and Tanah Liat) had exceptional food. Even though Backstage was crowded during breakfast hours, staff were quick to move the crowd.

While the Ren is in a peaceful location in the hills, it has a private beach shared with the Courtyard and several other hotels with a regular if infrequent shuttle, although the bell desk was happy to arrange for off-schedule transfers. One possible improvement would be to provide elite status guests with free area transfers.

Looking forward to returning. This is a good option for a balance between sun/sand and rest/relax.

The hotel itself is lovely and the room was okay, the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

However, we booked a swim up pool room which said were available and were being sold by the hotel so we booked it but 3 days before our trip we had a message from the hotel saying it wasn’t available as the room wasn’t even built!!! Too late to change any of our plans. So we got downgraded to a smaller room with a consolation of one night meal free.

This leads onto the food which is to be questioned. After the first night of eating, the kitchen seemed to be in chaos, then the day after we had to stay in the room for the day as we became ill (tummy bug) and then when we felt better we tried to eat again and the same illness came upon us. My girlfriend had to stay in bed for 2 days!!!

This comes after us being in total good health, the whole time was spent wondering are we going to become ill if we eat!

The breakfast buffet, none of the food was covered allowing flies etc to land on it and the same with the pastry section. Think something needs to be done here personally just from a hygiene point of view so to avoid people coming here and experiencing what we did!

We were meant to be celebrating just becoming newly engaged but the illness situation from the food completely ruined our stay, instead of enjoying ourselves we were just staying within 5 feet of a toilet!

All in all lovely hotel, lovely staff but food situation needs to be sorted out, need to not be selling rooms that aren’t even ready and i will NOT be recommending to friends & family.

My stay for 3 days and 2 nights at the Renaissance Nusa Dua was a great experience other than an unfortunate breakfast experience at Backstage restaurant.

Some of the things I appreciate whilst staying at The Renaissance:

1. Front Office

I booked a room with garden view, but when I checked in to the room I realized the mentioned “garden view” was a view of the parking lot. I communicated this issue I had with the front office manager / supervisor, and they kindly helped me by upgrading my room to one with a better view, even though I had to wait 30-40 minutes. I really appreciated this gesture.

2. Spa

I have tried countless of hotel spa and I can say with confidence my spa experience at the Renaissance is one of, if not the best experience I’ve had. The service was amazing from the reception to the therapists (Mbak Ari). Truly a wonderful relaxation experience. Keep up the good work.

3. Dinner at LionX

LionX is a chinese restaurant with modern oriental decoration. Again, the food and service was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there and would consider going again. A slight feedback though If I could give any is that I think the mix vegetable could do with less ginger.

As I have previously mentioned the only unfortunate experience I had was during breakfast at Backstage. The food was great but the service was dreadful.

At the first day, I was having breakfast alone and suddenly a waiter bump into the empty chair at my table, maybe because they were rushing, but what I found to be quite rude was the fact that waiter acted like the table was empty, completely dismissing me by not apologizing. After that, when I just finished my glass of juice, without my permission and looking at my direction my glass was taken away.

During the second day, I ordered pure orange juice but what I got was orange juice which was clearly diluted in ice and water. They used one orange only for the juice and fill the rest of the glass with water.

Overall for the food was enjoyable but these minor inconveniences definitely took away from the experience.

Everything about this hotel is amazing! If you want a true 5 star hotel experience that is perfect for kids and couples, I recommend staying here.

They have spare no expense with the fit out. The attention to detail and art work is mind blowing!

The staff all address us by our names and go above and beyond at every chance to enhance our experience.

The kids club and staff that work there have been incredible. Our son, James, doesn’t want to leave there as they engage and play with him non-stop. There’s also endless activities that they put on for the kids to have fun.

Not to mention all of the things they put on for adults from yoga, paddle board yoga, temple tour… all included in your stay.

The food… WOW! Coming from Australia, it’s hard to beat the standard we have. The food has been amazing. The breakfast spread is top quality and has a massive range from healthy to mouth tingling (and a little naughty).

Not near the beach, no problem…they have a driver waiting for you at the click of your fingers to take you there for free. Once you arrive at the private beach, they have a beach bar and sun beds to chill on. I’ve also run to the beach a few times and it takes 10-15 minutes. Driving is 5 minutes at most.

Let me put into perspective how incredible this place is. We went to lunch at the Ritz Carlton down the road, supposedly one of the best hotels around. Apart from being 15 times the price, the standard of service, food and facilities was not on par with Renaissance.

This is by FAR the best value for money / experience I have ever had from a hotel, ever!

A special shout out to Yusef, Intan, Ricky, Reas, Gina Listy, Korena, Bayu. You have all made it a special stay for us and we look forward to coming back.

Thanks again Renaissance team ❤️🙏

Renaissance Nusa Dua Bali is a hotel with a soft opening but the occupancy rate is high and the service is very good. My family and I had trouble getting a room because we didn't make a reservation in advance but the last time we were at the airport then tried to call directly to the reservation department and finally we were able to get a room even though it was only for one night. Thank you to Ms. Lila in the reservation section who has helped.

When we arrived at the hotel it was late but the check-in process was very fast assisted directly by the Duty Manager Mr. Tio so that my family and I could immediately enter the room and rest.

Breakfast is very pleasant with a cozy atmosphere because of good interior design. The food menu is also very varied, you can choose according to taste and good service from all hotel staff. The swimming pool area is also attractive and nice. We had time to try both swimming pools. Our impressions and messages at Renaissance have been directly responded by the Director of Operations, Mr. Christopher Smith, thank you.

Because our time at hotel is very limited so we are not satisfied enjoying at the hotel. So to anyone who reads this review if you have plans to find a hotel in Nusa Dua, don't hesitate to choose Renaissance.

Best wishes and success to all Renaissance's team

We came here as a family (4year old and 3 month old) and could not be more impressed, particularly with the service. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, but the people here are what make it so special. They are at your every beck and call and have incredible attention to detail. We were offered lots of specials as well at the hotel (breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea, a massage, ice cream on demand for kids!) it’s just incredible. The management have made it a point to train the staff but they are just beautiful people anyway. We were here during one of their most special holidays Galungan, and we’re sure they’d rather be at home with their families but they treated us as if we were theirs. There’s 4 pools, all are amazing and the kids club is run by the most beautiful staff. My son cried each day he didn’t want to leave them! Don’t hesitate to book - we went for lunch at the Ritz and the food here was definitely more delicious, and for the amount you pay it’s insane value for money. Brand new and beautiful, thanks everyone we loved it. Brooke, Joe, James and Iris

Stayed for a short weekend stay

Reservation: called directly to make a booking, very friendly and helpful reservation team. Efficient and booked with ease, immediate confirmation. Offered a great deal. Made an error on pricing with the airport pick up but swiftly corrected and honored the pricing.

New property, easy distance from the airport. good vibe and modern. Great staff, very friendly and everyone, i mean everyone greeted you and stood aside for you as you walked through the property.

Used their beach club, free shuttle and staff at the beach club very attentive. Only annoying thing are the vendors who keep coming up. I appreciate that times have been tough and wanted to help them but realized that it was the same items being brought by different vendors, almost looked organized. Having politely declined once, i would have thought they would stop coming back but kept returning and sometimes didn't take no and persisted. - was a little annoying. Perhaps the club can monitor this to be less persistent

The property is great and has possibilities for great facilities. Parts were closed and under construction which doesn't disturb the stay.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. However they smell very damp and the bedsheets were at times a little damp from the condensation. This a common problem due to the climate.

A little advise to the hotel from my previous experience, your temperature setting for the AC when not occupied seems to be at 27 degrees. You should set it to around 23 degrees to avoid the damp smell. If you dont, in the long run you will have issues with mold.

Used the Spa, very relaxing and lovely treatments. The couples room we had was not well laid out. Didnt really have anywhere to hang or keep your clothes, was a small area separated by a curtain with a sink and small side cupboard under the sink. Design issue?

Yudi at the bar, great guy. He had found out it was my birthday and gave a small bday surprise that evening. Nita in the dining room also remembered us after he first night and always greeted us and took very good care of us.

Had a great stay, the feedback above is hopefully for your management to improve for future guest experience. I would certainly come back once all your facilities are open. Was looking forward to seafood restaurant which sadly was not opened when we visited.

My 1-week stay here was just lovely. It is a beautiful hotel, appointed with tasteful and colorful furnishings that reflect Balinese aesthetics. My favorite aspect was the gracious and attentive service. As a solo traveler, you can get overlooked but that never happened here. I felt well taken care of. A loud and enthusiastic shout out to Suli, who was working in the lobby bar when I arrived. I was introduced to her by the manager when I expressed interest in Balinese textiles. Suli was exceedingly helpful in helping me find beautiful ikats, a unique and personal experience that she orchestrated. I left feeling I had made a new friend. Suli is the best!
The resort seemed quiet and peaceful, and gave me a sense of calm. The grounds were beautiful groomed, I saw gardeners at work constantly. The spa treatment only added to that sense of calm and utter relaxation.
