Detailed Reviews
We (two people) stayed at the Ayodya Palace from March 1st until March 6th 2020. We had the Ayodya Suite with garden view with 115 square meters, 2 big rooms, 1 large and 1 small bathroom, 1 big balcony. The room was absolutely stunning, not just in size, but furniture, floors, etc were beautifully crafted. In room breakfast was included as was the mini bar and several other activities. Pool, garden area and beach were very well kept and offered enough sunbeds for every guest at that time. Food was generally very good, breakfast was amazing with fresh pressed juice and great fruit bowls. Other restaurants offered good food as well, while never achieving the outstanding quality of the breakfast.

Wow! Expectations exceeded! We’ve stayed at many fine resorts over the years and Ayoda Palace definitely is everything we were hoping for. There is a separate wing at the hotel for Palace guests. When we were shown our room there was a paper towelling of swans, hats for us on the bed, fresh flower arrangement, fresh fruit and cookies awaiting us.
The staff here are absolutely amazing. They always have a cheerful hello for you and ask if you require anything to make you stay better. They are all exceptional. If I had to give names it would take up the whole review.
We had dinner at the Ayoda beach grill one evening and it was lovely. It was much better than a more expensive restaurant that we had gone to.

We were here for a week. I really liked the hotel, everything is beautiful, the rooms are large and good. They gave us straw hats, men's and women's, as well as a nice beach bag and flip-flops. There weren't many people. The palace has its own pool with soft sun loungers, and there are also soft sun beds on the grass closer to the ocean. They serve afternoon tea with all sorts of muffins and cookies, and before dinner they also serve all sorts of snacks and alcohol. There is a set of hot appetizers, you can ask for them several times. Sometimes I went without dinner with them. We were also told that there was a privilege: every day, 4 items per room were washed for free. Considering the local climate it is very pleasant. There is also an hour of free cycling every day. You can use the entire territory of the main hotel, and it is very large and beautiful, it’s nice to walk around. Breakfast is excellent. And unlike the main hotel, there are few people, everything is delivered promptly. The staff are generally great, they try very hard and help with everything. Our greetings and thanks to the waiter Curry. (I apologize if I wrote it wrong). The beach is large, there are many sun loungers, you will definitely find a place. I would like the beach to be better cleaned of algae and debris. Check the tide chart to know the water level and whether you can swim. But in principle, there is always water. Such that there are no stones alone. But I will write that the ocean is not for children and the elderly. There is a very strong current along the shore; there may be a lot of algae in shallow waters. And also the waves, during the week that we were there the ocean was calm for only 2 days. For adults it’s even interesting, but for a child it’s scary to go into such a wave. All the children swim in the pool, fortunately they are big and nice. Overall, we were happy with our holiday

Ayodya Palace is connected to, but separate from the mega complex of the Ayodya hotel. The Palace is a little older, but has exceptionally spacious rooms - ours had massive bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and two sinks, very large bedroom with very comfortable bed and pillows, separate living and dining, separate powder and entry and large balcony. We were on the 4th floor, which was great. Next time we’ll request the 5th (top) floor with beach views. The Palace has it’s own lounge with excellent breakfast, and also offers afternoon tea and cocktail hour. There is a private pool which is great as much quieter than main complex. It’s right on the beach and very close to restaurant on beach which services all of the Ayodya. Easy walk to other internal restaurants. The spa is very good and we had 2 massages there. The couples massage cost about $110 AUD. Nice rooms but the shower could do with an upgrade. Also walking distance to local restaurants and a bit of a walk to Bali Collective shopping centre (or catch the shuttle). Fabulous friendly staff. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at Ayodya Palace this year. We stayed in the Subali suite the first time which was lovely, however, this time we were fortunate to be able to stay in Kausalya beach front suite. We had a private pool and a luxurious bathroom with sauna and a huge bath. A step ladder or a hand rail into the suite pool would be an excellent addition to the suite pool. The suite is located close to the Palace Club dining room and Pool so we had the best of both worlds. Our suite was cleaned every morning at 9am as requested and 6pm for turn down service. We were very happy with the suite and the surroundings. We celebrated a birthday and had a delightful surprise floating breakfast in our pool. Thank you Ms Suci 🩷
We enjoyed massages in the spa and it has the most amazing orchids. If you enjoy orchids, be sure to visit just to see them.
Wifi is a bit intermittent and not at all reliable. At the Palace pool the further you are away from the building it doesn’t work. I recommend doing your own phone roaming or purchase a sim at the airport on the way in.
Airconditioning in the rooms seem to not go any lower than 24* I think we were the only ones to give feedback on this. Bizarrely, the room would increase in temperature getting to 25.5 even though it was always set to 22*. Whilst a dip in the ocean or pool can resolve this, it would be nice if they were able to be a bit cooler in this warm weather. We did need to use a fan to sleep from house keeping.
Breakfast at the club is great although the Afternoon Tea could be improved. It’s was quite repetitive and a lot of sweet offerings. The Evening Canapés and Cocktails were great with a different variety each day. I enjoyed having cocktails but with no alcohol.
There is some construction at the resort near the Spa and also the external roof/ceiling near the Palace. It did not affect our holiday at all and staff are very accommodating to ensure no one is impacted.
We received excellent service from so many women and a few men, but unfortunately the men’s names were not as memorable as these unforgettable ladies. Under Ms Bina’s leadership, her whole team go out of their way to make sure all the guests holidays are amazing. Special thanks to the beautiful ladies who went above and beyond their job role every day, Ms Niri, Ms Noni, Ms Suci, Ms Ani & a lovely young trainee, Intan. Your presence each day in our lives made a positive impact on our holiday. Whilst Erika and Sintia are both young, they have such gregarious personalities which brought joy to our evenings.
We recommend Ayodya Palace and will certainly stay again next year.

Dear Happy_relaxed_couple, Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review of your recent stay at Ayodya Palace! We’re so happy to hear that your second visit was as enjoyable as the first and that you had the opportunity to experience the Kausalya beachfront suite. It sounds like you had a wonderfully relaxing time, with the private pool and luxurious bathroom providing the perfect setting for your stay. Thank you for your constructive feedback on Afternoon Tea; we’ll work on diversifying the offerings to improve the experience for future guests. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the Evening Canapés and Cocktails. Although there was some preventive maintenance happening nearby, we are pleased that it did not disrupt your stay. We always strive to ensure our guests feel as comfortable as possible, and our team works hard to minimize any impact. Your heartfelt comments about the staff are truly appreciated, and we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to Ibu. Bina and her wonderful team at the Palace, including Niri, Noni, Suci, Ani, Intan, Erika, and Sintia. It’s clear that their dedication made a positive impact on your holiday, and we are grateful for their commitment to providing exceptional service. My mom and I stayed at Ayodya Palace for two nights and loved every minute of it... with the only exception being the airport transfer to the hotel. We arrived at midnight and were able to bypass the long immigration lines by having our e-visa and custom declaration QR code printed in advance but then got held up trying to find our driver. My suggestion to future travelers is to go directly to the Information booth after customs and ask the agent to publicly announce your driver to meet you there. When we finally arrived at the hotel around 1:30am, we were amazed by the awe-inspiring Balinese architecture and warmly greeted by Adhi and Muanani. (Sorry for any misspelling). The room was absolutely lovely. We were gifted with an assortment of local fruit and cookies, glass bottled waters, his and her straw hats and flip flops and a straw handbag. Our accommodations also granted us morning breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails of which we took full advantage. The property was right on the beach with pool and restaurant access. The highlight, however, was the wonderful staff at the lounge, in particular, Suci who was gracious and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back to stay, if not, just to say hello to Suci!

Staying at the Ayodya Resort Nusa Dua for the 1st time has definitely changed our views on choosing Bali again (after our last visit about 8 yrs years) & particularly this resort for our next Melbourne winter getaway.
The resort is absolutely beautiful in so many ways, from the wonderful staff, traditional Balinese decor, great food choices & varying activities. After a bike ride tour along the beautiful white sand & clear water beach front, we truly believe the Ayodya is the the best choice resort including its location along this beach front strip, end to end, compared to other resorts if you want a change from the modern type accommodation & great value for money.
We thoroughly enjoyed both the Indian & Japanese restaurants on site & the bar & grill for lunch most days.
Thank you to all the lovely staff & Management at Ayodya for making our holiday so very special. We will definitely be back & ensure to stay longer than a week

Property had everything so you didn’t really feel the need to leave. The palace lounge had refreshments available for guests 24/7 including ice tea during some hot days. The beach is lovely and the beach club is a really great place. The staff on the property are quite lovely although do not expect too much help through email prior to your visit. Overall would recommend.

Ayodya Palace wing is excellent, a boutique hotel within the main Ayoda Bali resort, but with bigger rooms.
Architecture, design, artwork, statues and size of the resort is on a grand scale, way undervalued. Balinese culture meets Hindu mythology. All set in 33 acres of beautiful landscaping. Pictures don't do it justice!
Excellent Indian restaurant and Japanese restaurant, lots of swimming pools and kids facilities. Lovely beach.
New GM who is very meticulous and has already made vast improvements in the one year he has been in the role. Expect great things from this property within the next year.
Highly recommend. Went to visit Grand Hyatt and other nearby properties, however you could be anywhere in the world with international brands. This resort is Bali authentic, with all the comforts of an international property.
Special recognition to the staff at the Palace - Niri, Noni, Kari, Erika, Chintya, Yudi, Agung, Sugi and Suparani who made our stay very special and comfortable.
Disliked · Maintenance in and around the swimming pools needs more attention. Sun loungers in the main resort don't have cushions but they do at the Palace pool.
Some days not enough staff to clear towels/get drinks, but I saw this improving as the week went on.
Food at afternoon tea and cocktail hour in the Palace lounge is very basic, however they generously provide you cocktails for a couple of hours!
As vegetarians, we mostly ate at the Indian restaurant...other options are limited but you can go out to the nearby Bali collection or other hotels for meals. The Indian restaurant caters well to Jains.
This property will get some vast upgrades over the next year, and from my interactions with the GM I expect great things to happen. So either wait for those (and prices to go up) or go now whilst its still good value and also still just as excellent!
