We stayed here for 10 nights and I just didn't want to leave!
Beautiful well looked after gardens, spotless rooms- refreshed everyday (with a new character made from towels that was always fun)
The whole vibe of the hotel was peace and quiet, everyone was very respectful.
Staff are wonderful, especially the boys at the pool-bar, the best!
Massages in the gardens was lovely, cheaper than the spa I used to go to (last trip)
Safety deposit boxes at the front desk (no safe in the room)

The road leading up to the hotel from Legian street was well lit at night and very clean - that was one thing I was worried about prior to my arrival but I felt very safe

I booked a room with double bed, on day of arrival we got a room with 2singles with the promise of moving us the next day which never happened despite asking regularly. They just said none available at the moment. Bed was hard and LUMPY and not comfortable at all. Very disappointing!!!

What a hidden gem. An oasis of peace and tranquility on walking distance of pubs and clubs. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within 1 km of Kuta beach. Very friendly staff, clean, well maintained and with a beautiful garden with mango trees and squirrels, decent a la carte hotel food throughout the day although the breakfast buffet is very minimal. Food hygiene is good too. Skilled barista's but quality of coffee beans is mediocre (At the end of the street is a small supermarket with a very good coffee to go corner at 17k for an americano). The pool is clean, the towels soft and enough lounge beds around it. The spa service is spot on at very competative prices. The rooms are simple but effective and bedlinnen gets cleaned on a daily basis. Creative housekeepers fold the towels into teddy bears, lobsters etc etc. Always a surprise what animal they came up with when entering the room. Airco works well and a fridge is provided. 24 hours security who really make their rounds at night. Efficient front office staff that helps with ordering a taxi etc. I noticed many returning guests, and I understand why. We will come back too.

Dewi Sri is a nice motel, lots of mosquitoes but staff provide spray for the room.

Food and Drink is expensive so we only eat here a couple of times.

The hotel advertise buffet breakfast but change to A La Carte, Spoke to management and they advised that when numbers are low at the motel they change breakfast options. Pretty annoying when you have 9 family members staying in 4 different rooms at the motel.

Sheets are standard and fresh towels are provided daily.

Tea/coffee isnt updated daily, but water is.

Massage is okay, pretty standard but price is reasonable.

Dont think i would stay again based on this experience.

Safety deposit boxes look a bit dodgy they look like a made a box with one key access and no privacy to put your belongings in and out would not recommend.
Want to have a couple of drinks at the pool bar Waited for half an hour to be served staff too busy elsewhere, talking, so I went elsewhere to drink. They obviously don’t want the money.
Breakfast, first day pancakes, which were more like crêpes served with syrup, no butter, no jam.
Went for breakfast on my second day Breakfast starts at seven was there about five past and they had no orange juice bit disappointed and I got eggs, Benedict, nowhere near eggs Benedict it was eggs on toast with a bit of salad.
Small can of Coke and a hamburger 140,000 you could get a better hamburger and a can of Coke in Australia for cheaper
On 15 August, went down to have breakfast I sat there 23 minutes. No service went elsewhere to have breakfast very disappointed.
On the 17th had breakfast, no orange juice again it’s bad when you’ve got to walk to the shop to get your own orange juice before you can have breakfast?
And there is nowhere near enough tables in the breakfast area for the amount of rooms in this hotel.
And the last day, what do you know no orange juice again for breakfast?
If they made the safety deposit boxes, better more safer and some privacy for when putting things in an out of the safety box and bit more stuff for the pool bar and the food area. If they fix these problems, I would probably go back and stay again

Hotel is okay, staff are good, helpful when needed. But this place feels like a bed and breakfast type of place. We booked for a double bed and in the end we received two single beds.(for a couple)
Breakfast menu is sub par, one morning sent back food because it had hair through it, a real turn off and this also happened to fellow guests. Power outages and lack of water for awhile. Air conditioning replacement across more than one room. Early morning people returning upstairs reverberates through lower floors. My grandchildren could not swim in the kids section of the pool due to being filled with frog eggs. Manager offered a $20 rebate for being without power and water for most of the day. pathetic !
Won't be staying again.

A lovely hotel hidden away from the main drag of Legian / Kuta. Very clean spacious rooms equipped with TV and bar fridge.

Linen and towels replaced daily along with complimentary bottles of water.

Lovely good sized swimming pool with swim up bar and children friendly section.

The only negative at all is the buffet breakfast is basic with little choice. Eggs any style and banana pancakes were our favourites.

We had no hesitation in recommending Dewi Sri Hotel.

Stayed 5 nights, lovely place to stay,
Clean basic rooms, had to ask for kettle and hairdryer, any requests were fulfilled quickly, great massage area, competitive with street prices, very basic breakfast, egg station, toast, fruits and juice with a couple of indo dishes. Can order food and drinks 24 hours.
Nice big clean pool with swim up bar, happy hours a couple of times a day. Great location so close to everything,
Great budget hotel

We stayed at Dew Sri because it was part of a package.
Would not have chosen middle of Kuta for stay, but were pleased we did. Really great value. Accom & food, drink.
Friendly staff, good English spoken by staff. Breakfast (incl) was limited but adequate, and changed some different options daily.
Had a Superior room, clean, good aircon, good Wi-Fi.
Lunch and dinner were not high price, although we just went out to local warungs as well.
Massage was good and not much more than on the street.
Definitely would stay again..
Only con, - long walk to beach …

My first visit post lockdown, with many previous stays. The hotel despite being closed for 2 years is still the same as before with manicured lawns and gardens. My room was clean along with the linen. Some changes with staff but many old smiling and welcoming faces, mainly reception and massage. The location is great for the walking explorer with the beach only 10 minutes down Poppies 2. I had heard some negative talk about the loud music around the pool and was going to address this with the management, however this did not happen as I think they realised this problem prior to my arrival. With the current closures of Skygarden and VI AI Pi the late night noise in the laneway was non existent, not sure when they will reopen. Would I stay again? Yes.

Sorry as we only have one pool and it is for all in house guest use we are unable to provide the floating breakfast. We can however set up a special breakfast table in our garden area, please contact our hotel via email. Thank you

Hi the Dewi Sri does not really have a comprehensive restaurant. It is a walk to main restaurants but if you don't mind eating cheaply and in the little cafe's around they are good and fairly close. The rooms are basic but large and easy to maneuver around. Just ask for a ground floor room...don't think there are lifts but it is not a high rise hotel.....hope that helps a little..You might be better going to the Febris Hotel if you want to be a little closer to main restaurants. that has big nice rooms lifts and newer bigger bathrooms...oh and good restaurants..

Hi Nichole, Yes Safety Deposit Boxes for passports, travel documents, cash etc are available at the Front Office & are stored under CCTV. You will receive the only key to open the box.
