Very spacious room. We travelled with kids and they had their own room when sliding doors are shut from the main room. Huge shower!Clean, and staff very helpful. Nice (but not huge) pool with swim up bar. Breakfast is basic, but egg station is good for omelettes. Close to Poppies and walking distance to most other things. Would recommend.

This isn’t the fanciest of hotels, but it is very well priced. It’s clean, and the pool is nice as are the gardens. We stay in the family room as we know it is huge and basically two rooms separated by a sliding door. Great location near the memorial, but the walk down the alley and back is a challenge with the women from the markets hassling you every single time you pass them. But for location and price, you can’t complain. Breakfast very basic, but the cocktails are great when they have happy hour.

This hotel in Kuta is functional and well located, with many shops and restaurants around, and only 15 minutes walk from the beach, which is very convenient. The room, although quite basic, is spacious, which is a plus if you carry a lot of luggage. However, a big drawback was that we were assigned a room on the fourth floor and the hotel does not have an elevator, which forced us to climb all luggage up some narrow stairs and with quite high steps, which was uncomfortable.

Breakfast was included and they made tortillas at the time, but the juices could improve, as they were not very good, and there were not too many options to choose from either. The pool is a good addition, although due to the type of tourism in the area, it was quite full during our stay.

We stayed here for 10 nights and I just didn't want to leave!
Beautiful well looked after gardens, spotless rooms- refreshed everyday (with a new character made from towels that was always fun)
The whole vibe of the hotel was peace and quiet, everyone was very respectful.
Staff are wonderful, especially the boys at the pool-bar, the best!
Massages in the gardens was lovely, cheaper than the spa I used to go to (last trip)
Safety deposit boxes at the front desk (no safe in the room)

The road leading up to the hotel from Legian street was well lit at night and very clean - that was one thing I was worried about prior to my arrival but I felt very safe

Safety deposit boxes look a bit dodgy they look like a made a box with one key access and no privacy to put your belongings in and out would not recommend.
Want to have a couple of drinks at the pool bar Waited for half an hour to be served staff too busy elsewhere, talking, so I went elsewhere to drink. They obviously don’t want the money.
Breakfast, first day pancakes, which were more like crêpes served with syrup, no butter, no jam.
Went for breakfast on my second day Breakfast starts at seven was there about five past and they had no orange juice bit disappointed and I got eggs, Benedict, nowhere near eggs Benedict it was eggs on toast with a bit of salad.
Small can of Coke and a hamburger 140,000 you could get a better hamburger and a can of Coke in Australia for cheaper
On 15 August, went down to have breakfast I sat there 23 minutes. No service went elsewhere to have breakfast very disappointed.
On the 17th had breakfast, no orange juice again it’s bad when you’ve got to walk to the shop to get your own orange juice before you can have breakfast?
And there is nowhere near enough tables in the breakfast area for the amount of rooms in this hotel.
And the last day, what do you know no orange juice again for breakfast?
If they made the safety deposit boxes, better more safer and some privacy for when putting things in an out of the safety box and bit more stuff for the pool bar and the food area. If they fix these problems, I would probably go back and stay again

What a hidden gem. An oasis of peace and tranquility on walking distance of pubs and clubs. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within 1 km of Kuta beach. Very friendly staff, clean, well maintained and with a beautiful garden with mango trees and squirrels, decent a la carte hotel food throughout the day although the breakfast buffet is very minimal. Food hygiene is good too. Skilled barista's but quality of coffee beans is mediocre (At the end of the street is a small supermarket with a very good coffee to go corner at 17k for an americano). The pool is clean, the towels soft and enough lounge beds around it. The spa service is spot on at very competative prices. The rooms are simple but effective and bedlinnen gets cleaned on a daily basis. Creative housekeepers fold the towels into teddy bears, lobsters etc etc. Always a surprise what animal they came up with when entering the room. Airco works well and a fridge is provided. 24 hours security who really make their rounds at night. Efficient front office staff that helps with ordering a taxi etc. I noticed many returning guests, and I understand why. We will come back too.

We were really looking forward to staying here after reading great reviews. We had stayed in Sanur for 5 days and moved here for the remaining 6 days.
We had booked 3 superior rooms, 1st room had bird poop on the pillowcase and when they removed the pillowcase to change the pillow inside had mould on it.
All rooms were damp smelling and had no security safe. We were told we could use the reception safe which we were not comfortable with. Bathrooms were clean and spacious.

Pool temperature was very very warm! More like a spa in temperature, I’d say at least 35 degrees! Was not refreshing at all.
Cocktails were lovely, and when staff were available at the pool bar were great. A lot of times the pool bar was empty of staff as they were chatting amongst themselves at the main bar desk.

Unfortunately there was a big fight between a grown man and a younger teenage boy which was very unpleasant and we felt extremely uncomfortable and frightened. All staff did their best to calm the situation as quickly as they could.
(Persons Unknown to each other as we learnt later)

Management were great and removed the person, but it was far too much knowing this person was in a room next door to us and the friend was still allowed to stay and then asked to leave a day or two later.

Breakfast….. well… if you’re happy to have fruit, pancake mix in a jug, butter in a large open bowl and bread in the open air with no covering, allowing flies and ants to swarm over and inside, then you’re in luck!

Eggs were cooked to order which is great, but we just couldn’t do it, seeing right next to the fryer was the jug of pancake mix full of flies buzzing around and sitting on the rim. I really hate having to write this review, but hygiene needs to be addressed here. Food, linen and pool temp.
The Manager spoke to us in the morning and was very apologetic, we completely understand the fight was not their fault. But due to all other reasons including the fight we chose to leave this hotel and return to Sanur.
We were happy to have paid the 1 night and appreciate being refunded the remaining 5.

Stayed 5 nights, lovely place to stay,
Clean basic rooms, had to ask for kettle and hairdryer, any requests were fulfilled quickly, great massage area, competitive with street prices, very basic breakfast, egg station, toast, fruits and juice with a couple of indo dishes. Can order food and drinks 24 hours.
Nice big clean pool with swim up bar, happy hours a couple of times a day. Great location so close to everything,
Great budget hotel

We stayed at Dew Sri because it was part of a package.
Would not have chosen middle of Kuta for stay, but were pleased we did. Really great value. Accom & food, drink.
Friendly staff, good English spoken by staff. Breakfast (incl) was limited but adequate, and changed some different options daily.
Had a Superior room, clean, good aircon, good Wi-Fi.
Lunch and dinner were not high price, although we just went out to local warungs as well.
Massage was good and not much more than on the street.
Definitely would stay again..
Only con, - long walk to beach …

Hotel is okay, staff are good, helpful when needed. But this place feels like a bed and breakfast type of place. We booked for a double bed and in the end we received two single beds.(for a couple)
Breakfast menu is sub par, one morning sent back food because it had hair through it, a real turn off and this also happened to fellow guests. Power outages and lack of water for awhile. Air conditioning replacement across more than one room. Early morning people returning upstairs reverberates through lower floors. My grandchildren could not swim in the kids section of the pool due to being filled with frog eggs. Manager offered a $20 rebate for being without power and water for most of the day. pathetic !
Won't be staying again.

Sorry as we only have one pool and it is for all in house guest use we are unable to provide the floating breakfast. We can however set up a special breakfast table in our garden area, please contact our hotel via email. Thank you

Hi the Dewi Sri does not really have a comprehensive restaurant. It is a walk to main restaurants but if you don't mind eating cheaply and in the little cafe's around they are good and fairly close. The rooms are basic but large and easy to maneuver around. Just ask for a ground floor room...don't think there are lifts but it is not a high rise hotel.....hope that helps a little..You might be better going to the Febris Hotel if you want to be a little closer to main restaurants. that has big nice rooms lifts and newer bigger bathrooms...oh and good restaurants..
