Kuta Paradiso Hotel offers a stay marked by contrasts. Guests often applaud the hotel's beautiful design and prime location near the beach and local attractions, with a range of dining options at their doorstep. However, opinions on the hotel's atmosphere are divided, due to dated furniture and noise concerns. While the amenities, including multiple pools and a varied breakfast, are well-received, some visitors feel these and the spacious rooms need updating. The service stands out positively, with staff commended for their friendliness, despite occasional lapses in room service efficiency.

I last stayed here 22 years ago for my third visit to the hotel. I love the pool area. The hotel lobby area has changed and added some restaurants etc and I have yet to have the breakfast, but from memory it is wonderful. The rooms are dated and the furniture and fittings look way too familiar, perhaps some upgrades could help, but Bali seems so quiet. I thing younger families prefer Seminyak but this is a peaceful paradise. Walking distance to waterbom park, discovery mall, Kuta Art market and Matahari in Kuta square, it is a familiar, safe spot in Bali for me. I have been coming to Bali almost annually for over 20 years, and this area is far Iliad yet changes and updates add to its charm. The hotel is located well with security to make you feel safe and ammenities if you don’t want to leave the premises. It needs a lick of paint, some new furniture and possibly reno the bathrooms to make it pop!

I was a little reluctant to stay here after reading some of the recent reviews but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not normally a fan of Kuta, I find it too busy and always feel quite anxious but it was extremely quiet which is not necessarily a good thing for tourism but I have never known Kuta to be so quiet so I rather enjoyed it.

The hotel foyer is lovely, the staff were friendly, the room was okay on first appearance, was clean and comfortable but if you look closely there is a lot of paint peeling on the walls and the balcony needs a good paint.

I do agree with some of the reviews that it needs some renovations to Improve the overall look of the Hotel. The pools were lovely, plenty of sun lounges around, breakfast was amazing and the place had a great vibe about it. It’s only around $150 a night for 2 people including breakfast so is great value.

Would I stay here again, most definitely even if just to shop in Kuta for a few days.

Stayed in a queen room overlooking the pool on the 5th floor, the room was a good size, very comfy queen bed, and great pillows. The tv worked well, though tats were the good stops. The shower pressure was ok but nothing to get excited about, my room 501 had issues with shower temp some mornings the cold tap was hot and I mean hot where you can not get in. and another morning it was ok. The telephone in the room was like it was only dialing out certain reception numbers and not all. Internet in the room was not nonexistent, however once called reception they fixed this instantly and bring up a portable wifi router, make sure you have a VPN otherwise your Facebook on your mobile will have a bar on the top asking you to add data for Tele. The room service menu is the worst, so try not to order room service, I did on a few occasions and was let down every time.

Breakfast was a great, wide selection of choices, just remember you are in Bali, and they will give you breakfast tokens when you check in.

The pool is a selling point for this resort, a great pool that covers the entire back of the resort. Drinks are at a good price, the gym is in great condition, and towels are cleaned and rolled every morning. The pool is maintained and cleaned every morning. One thing the pool does not have is a pool bar, this would be a great addition.

Heard good things about the in-house massage but I can't comment as I never had one.

Did meet a few people staying there and it seemed they all people I spoke to had their rooms for different prices, hence we were all in the same accommodation ranging from 50 a night to 151. So do some looking around to get a better deal.

Staff are exceptional, friendly, and there to help when you need it.

Currently at this resort. Booked almost a year ago, and paid for x 3 deluxe rooms with balcony and garden views.
One of the rooms was for x 2 adults and a child. Messaged and emailed the hotel prior to arriving to request an additional single bed for the child. No response. Upon check in, asked again for an additional single bed in the room and was advised there would be a charge of $500 for 5 nights!!
Upon arriving at our rooms, we were extremely disappointed. No balcony, and overlooking the car park.
Returned immediately to reception with a copy of the booking and was advised we could change rooms the following day
Checked with reception at 2 pm the next day, was advised rooms were not ready and to return after 4pm
The first days of our holiday was spent hanging around waiting for room change.
When we finally received the keys for the room change, we had been provided with a room with a balcony, but still overlooking the car park as opposed to the gardens
At this stage I just gave up
The hotel isn’t great, definitely not 5 star. It’s very tired, the rooms smell of damp and very musty.
Would I bring my family back? Definitely not

Hotel is a bit tired but not too bad.
The pool area is nice and the breakfasts are good.
The main problem is anytime you want a paid service; you can’t charge anything to your room and that’s common here, but being bugged repeatedly after dinner to pay was just out of order.
Also ordered room service another night and took a nap only to be woken up by the landline asking me to pay for my food. They said “we will come up and get the money now”.
It was the same at the pool bar.
You are constantly watched and made to feel like your going to walk out on the bill.
So it’s a never-again from me.

We booked a Garden View room at Paradiso Kuta Hotel through Agoda, advertised as 5☆ and requested a QUIET non smoking room. When we checked in we were allocated a room overlooking a building site/rubbish dump right above a very noisy Sports Bar on one of Kutas busiest streets. The room was "reasonably" clean in general and had some functioning facilities but was very dusty and smelled damp and of cigarette smoke. There was no safe deposit box as advertised. The balcony door was ill fitting and allowed entry of many mosquitos. The bathroom door did not shut nor did the wardrobe door which caused problems as there was an automatic light in there that then remained on and we had to disable it at night. The biggest issue was the noise though... absolutely horrendous noise from the Sports Bar below until late at night, the road noise all night and the inconsiderate late arrival guests on either side who spent the time between 1am and 4am shouting into cell phones on the balconies next to us and smoking.... much of which drifted into our room through the poorly fitting door. On a positive note the breakfast was enjoyable and offered good variety, there was a large pool area with loungers that was kept tidy. The hotel in general may have once have been an acceptable place to stay but it's pretty run down now and I'd certainly suggest you look elsewhere as there are many other much better options in the area at a similar price. In all honesty I'd probably have overlooked most of the issues if only we'd been given a room on the quieter side of the hotel!

We booked for 3 persons through hotels.com but although we had a written confirmation the hotel wanted to charge additional 50% when we asked for the extra bed.
The room was worn out and the lights in the room worked randomly. The restaurant full of mosquitoes.
Cannot recommend this place at all.

Due to pandemic, there are so limited visitors in Bali. We wanted to stay close to airport to find any flight home.
We saw Agoda had a deal here. We thought in person they may give us good service and rate with understanding of the severity of situation.
Their in person rate was 300% higher!
So I booked through Agoda in front of them with no arguments.
They immediately said in that price, breakfast not included.
I asked the cost of breakfast - it was not as high for them to charge me 300% more.
So I requested them to include breakfast.
The guy started ignoring me. I asked for a manager so he called someone and spoke in their language, when a lady showed up, she started to speak to me with a time!
She spoke over me, she was almost reprimanding me and was racist! (I am Indian- Canadian).
Frankly, the hotel is not a 5 star spot. It's Central and huge, that's it.
There are many better places in Kuta and truly way better customer service.

An amazing hotel, with the biggest breakfast, amazing service, pools, large gym, kids play centre and its in the center of Kuta.Close to so many restaurants, beach, shopping centres, markets. A bus comes pass every 10 minutes for hotel guests and takes you to legian, seminyak. Buy an all day pass and hop on hop off. Taxis always available outside,a few minutes walk to Waterbomb park which is a must. Area around hotel is nice and you feel safe walking at night. Thanks Paradiso Kuta for a enjoyable week.

With my wife and kids we spent a week in the Kuta Paradiso, our second visit to the hotel.

The hotel looked to have had a bit of renovation in the pool area but overall it was still pretty much the same as the last visit. The hotel isn't brand new, but it's still got some charm and our room, next to the pool and kids area was a great location.

The staff are brilliant, the breakfasts are really good, plenty of choice for everyone and the pool area is great, several areas to escape to and we spent many lazy days playing in the pool, taking part in the games (bingo!) and generally relaxing.

The hotel is smack bang in kuta, near waterbom, discovery shopping mall, the beach, there's a lot of decent places to eat nearby and it's a great location to explore Kuta.

It's interesting reading some of the reviews about the hotel, I guess everyone's experience is individual but we loved our stay and would return again.

My stay was a 4 days and was with my fiancé. The team ensured that all requirements were fulfilled. The room had the pool view and it was really clean. Only issue was the balcony, where it was bit dusty, but they did clean it as soon as I requested and afterwards on a daily basis. My overall experience was very much satisfying.
