I have previously stayed at the Bali Garden Beach Resort and always loved the resort, staff, amenities and food. We went back after 2yrs and we were not disappointed. The staff were always friendly, accomodating and eager to help. The amenities were great and clean. The food was great with good size serves. The room was quite and a beautiful view of the gardens. We often visited the Italian restaurant Dolce Vista outside on the main road which is very close and it is the best food I have ever tasted. There was however a few points that the resort need to address, The bed was very hard, and though the resort tried to solve the issue by putting a mattress cover it didn’t solve the issue. There were people putting their pool towels on chairs and bungalows first thing in the morning then walking away to go shopping etc ….. this left no seats available for people who wish to use the pools and chairs there and then. This habit needs to stop as there were times myself and my wife went to the pools and every chair/ bungalow had towels on them with minimal people actually swimming and using the chairs. There is a very small sign near the main pool but it can’t be seen. The Happy Hour was only for cocktails buy 2 get a third free, but Bintang was not included ? The music that is being played was modern “Doff Doff” music that was hard to take. Myself and others did ask for the music to be changed by we were advised they couldn’t as it was on Spotify ? After 4 days of the same music I was over it as were many others. The Pool Bar (the best in Bali) has always been the centre of meeting people at the resort but very few people attended the pool bar which was a shame. I would like to make special mention of “Vita” who was a great waitress always smiling, eager to help and vey polite. The other is “Asti” on the reception desk who was absolutely amazing and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I thoroughly recommend this resort as I have visited Bali over 40 times and stayed at numerous resorts …. I recommend the Bali Gardens Beach Resort …… we will be back.

We (my 18 year old daughter and I) had an awesome stay and the resort restaurants were all reasonably priced and very good ….
Our room however looked over one of the restaurants roofs and I was hoping for something a bit better … so superior room isn’t that good …
It was a very quiet time in Bali so streets, restaurants, the pools and activities were all quiet which I really enjoyed
The pool areas and gardens are fabulous as are the restaurants and helpful staff, Unfortunately however they are doing necessary reclamation works in front of the hotel and some construction works next door so the excavators and green fencing along the path did impact on what would otherwise have been a terrific and uninterrupted view of the ocean and the beautiful sunsets .
The location is also great … right at the start of Kuta beach out the back of the hotel past the 3 resort pools and shops, pubs, restaurants , info, massages and atms right out the front of the hotel.
The ability to leave our luggage and go out of the day after checking out and then use their towels and shower later before our late flight in their “departure lounge” was a wonderful touch …

If you enjoy Beachfront than this is the place for you in Kuta Bali. The Resort has sprawling grounds that reach right to the Kuta Beach. The Hotel has three pools, in addition you can stretch yourself on the Beach chairs and take a dip in the ocean! The Hotel is located almost adjacent to Discovery Mall , the area comes alive in the night with live music, loud music, people thronging the beach for sunset etc.... There are good restaurants around the Hotel including an Indian restaurant. The room is clean, though I felt the Hotel is stingy with water (a 200 ml bottle for one person). The reception lady warned us " we will only provide you the water that has been placed in your room" during the checkin itself. Since we did a late check-in, we rushed out at 10:30 pm to buy drinking water...not a good experience. Overall the check in was a stiff experience. The breakfast is European with some local dishes, but almost entirely non vegetarian. So we had almost none. I would advise vegetarians to inform the kitchen in advance . Do not expect any Indian preparations. All in all I rate this property high on location and amenities, a little low on hospitality though!

Our daughter was married here 5 years ago and we returned with a group of 11 to celebrate their anniversary. Bali Garden Beach Resort is a beautiful place to stay from the enormous well manicured grounds to the customer service is second to none. We had a room on the third floor over looking the water park. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and easily accessible. Breakfast was included in the cost of our stay which I can confidently say it’s the best choice I’ve enjoyed for breakfast anywhere in Bali. There’s a swim up bar at the main pool and restaurant that provides an array of either Indonesian or western food. The resort sits right on the beach and at night you can sit and watch the sun set. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this resort.

We stayed here for a week at the end of October and absolutely loved it! Fantastic location, so close to restaurants and shops, and Waterbom Park is literally across the road. The hotel is beautiful, staff were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. The layout of the hotel is fantastic, with 3 separate pools, the breakfast restaurant is huge with an outdoor area option too, spa facilities, gym, and don't get me started on the gardens... they were spectacular! The main pool is right on the beachfront with gorgeous views of Kuta Beach, easy access as well. It's also part of the restaurant there and the service from the staff was en pointe, we were never thirsty! This hotel is also only 10 mins from Denpasar Airport so it's a cheap transport, taxi or Uber ride. Rooms were serviced daily and were immaculate, they got to know us and made sure we were looked after as we had two separate rooms for our daughters and us, they even started leaving us gorgeous towel animals towards the end of our stay! Bathrooms are large with walk-in shower. Water pressure was great, and showers were hot. The only disappointment I had was that we'd asked and paid for two rooms, each with a double bed, but they gave our daughters single beds in their rooms, they would have preferred a large bed. The morning breakfast banquet was also fantastic, as was the egg-station, Soli and the other chefs that manned this station were amazing, it was multi-tasking at it's best as they serviced up to 6 customers at once! We are coming back to Kuta in July 2024 and would gladly stay here again!

We've just had a wonderful five night stay here at The Bali Garden. Our stay had been delayed for over two years due to Covid, but the reservation team of Cindy, Candy and Tata have been superb in rebooking our long awaited stay. The hotel itself provided us with a large room(deluxe) which had a great balcony, walk in shower and the AC worked well. The staff throughout were all very friendly, and we enjoyed all three pool areas for different reasons. Prices for the food and drinks in the hotel are very good and fairly priced(unlike many hotels nowadays) which encouraged us to spend more time and money within our resort. The young lady,Ashanti I think, does an amazing job manning the egg/omelette station in the morning. Wow she is so efficient that any queue was quickly reduced. Overall we think that this is a great location for Kuta and represents great service and value for money.

The gardens and general environment of this hotel are lovely. Tropical gardens, plants, trees, and ponds are well laid out, with excellent footpaths winding their way down to the swimming pools, beach, and restaurant facilities. The 3 swimming pools are very nice, one is very private for adults only, with nice furniture and cabanas available. Another one for family and children use with a swim-up bar, and a third pool at the beachfront is an infinity pool looking over the Kuta surf beach. On the beachfront is a promenade that goes all the way into the main part of Kuta which allows an easy walk to lots of other facilities such as shopping or restaurants. Other facilities included a Gymnasium, a library, and a Spa offering every kind of personal service
Dining and Restaurants
Our breakfasts in the breakfast rooms were great, wide choice of breakfast foods, with a wonderful egg bar where the lovely Soli kept everyone in line amused with her skills with every kind of egg cooking, pancakes, bacon etc. A great start to the day At the beach front, there was the Boardwalk Café where we ate frequently, where the food was a wide choice and very reasonably priced, and the drinks likewise. There were other restaurants around vicinity of the hotel, with other wide choices of foods including Mexican, Italian, and American. Most provided room service to the hotel.
Rooms and access
When we booked, we found there were 2 types of rooms – Superior and Deluxe. All the Deluxe rooms overlooked the gardens and/or beach whilst the superiors were generally overlooking the front of the hotel with street scenes, etc. We got a Superior room, and it was very nice – large and quiet with walk-in shower bathroom and all mode cons – wifi, Satellite TV, aircon etc, and ability to have a cup of tea in the room. We were on the 3rd floor, but a lift made it easy as I have spinal problems walking.
Overall opinion
We loved it. We were there for 2 weeks, and it was a delight. We enjoyed everything, pedicures and massages in the spa, swimming in the adult pool, eating in the restaurants, and relaxing in our lovely cool quiet room. We will definitely be back next year.

We arrived here for one night, and chose to stay for three! The room was stunning and the service upon arrival was unexpected. The grounds, pools, restaurants and bars are excellent and could not be faulted.
The rooms are spacious, everything you need for a holiday stay. Bathrooms are equipped with two types of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, fresh towels and water everyday. Our room had a balcony with a view of the vast grounds.
With four or five restaurants and bars there is something for everyone. The food is delicious, cooked fresh and served with a smile.
Directly opposite Waterbom, and a few steps from Discovery Shopping Mall location is heart of this resort. Beachfront access, the art market and all your shopping needs right outside the door. Shuttle services to anything outside of your comfortable walking distance too. Plenty of restaurants, activities and more!
Everything you need to access is in walking distance, restaurants, stores, shopping, bars and much more. The opposite side is the beach with the markets.

We have just returned after 15 wonderful nights at the Bali Garden Beach Resort. This was our third stay, (2022, 2023 & 2024). We cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Beautifully maintained tropical gardens (if you are a flora lover the variety will amaze you). The hotel buildings and grounds are spotlessly maintained and it is a classic representation of the Balinese culture. There are three pools - Adults Only; Family (beautifully laid out and large); Infinity pool on the beach with the Boardwalk Restaurant alongside. The spa and massage areas are top class and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. They are serviced daily and nothing is too much for the room cleaning staff. Breakfast is top quality and has everything you need plus more. Even Vegemite and Nutella for the kids. There are six restaurants attached to the hotel, five on the main road of each side and one on the beach (the Boardwalk). It is very convenient to put the bill onto your room account to pay later. The standard of each restaurant is very high quality... advisable to book in as they are so popular. From our first visit, the friendliness of the staff - room service, breakfast area, Boardwalk Restaurant, other restaurants and even the grounds people impressed us and left a remaining memory. To our surprise, on our second and third visit, all of the staff who we met remembered us and even remembered our names and, in the breakfast area, what our preferred extra items, that aren't in the buffet were, and made them available daily. (especially with Cheryl having an egg allergy). The twin sisters who we deal with in the Registrations and Bookings area - Candy & Cindy are exceptional and are always happy and pleased to accommodate our requests and needs. All of the front desk staff are ready for you and the whole atmosphere is professional and to us 5 STAR and the message in our room on arrival says it all to us "Cheryl & Ross, Welcome Home". This was our last stop after traveling to 2 different areas. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights here. The service, staff and facilities are amazing!! I didn’t leave the hotel the entire time. The grounds are beautiful and the main pool is adequate. It can be harder to get a day bed in the adults only pool. The back restaurant is fabulous!! It is more than we would normally spend but worth it! Merry who runs the back bar is the absolute best!! If you have a late flight you can still use the facilities up until you need to go and there is an area with fresh towels/toiletries to shower before your flight.

Hi, there are no USB points that I have ever noticed. However, they do have an Australian power point in each room. It is usually the one used for the kettle. In the south wing, this point is found between the main window and the front door of each suite. We take our chargers with us when we go to the BGH.
I agree with the previous responses. Choose a Deluxe Room that faces the gardens/pools/ocean. The cheaper Superior Rooms face the street and can be a little more noisy. Please also note that if there are any music events at Discovery Mall next door or if you go over New Years Eve (fireworks all night) then there will be lots of noise no matter what room you have.
We have been using the BGBR as our home away from home in Bali for over 20 years with one to two trips annually. It is easier to upgrade your room before you get to Bali. There will be a slight increase in cost but the Deluxe rooms all face towards the ocean and you don’t get disturbed by the traffic noise from the street. The Hotels places Beach chairs (long couches) with umbrella on top to protect from the Sun on the beach in the morning, these are removed around sunset . There is a vendor with food and drink menu who serves drinks and snacks while you are enjoying on these chairs. I know because we used these services.
There are more places to choose from in the Kuta area.
